Liked the Doctor. Just found it impossible to get a refund for a $50 double payment. I submitted all the proof of overpayment in November. The billing company agreed it was double paid and told me to contact the Endocrinology center for the refund. Two weeks before Christmas they said the check was in the mail. I have left messages and even talked to people there and still dont have my money back. It is now mid January. So, I wonder about the honesty and integrity of the people there.

Dr shahzad Ahmed is quite knowledgeable and shows empathy to his patients. I had a great experience during my first visit to him. Highly recommend.

Dr Ahmad seems ok, I had a horrible experience with his office staff. Theyre extremely hard to communicate with if you can even get someone to answer the phone. I had my 1st visit to drain my thyroid, was billed for my biopsy, and they never told me the results. It also took a week for someone to get me the order to ha e my lab work done. Then they pinned the blame on a brand new employee. The 2nd visit took me over a week to get someone on the phone to make an appointment. There was some scheduling issues. When I finally get in their locked office,, im greated by one young lady looking like she is a bad attitude in high school. Slouching backwards in her chair, legs half way up reclining, I say who I am, and she says nothing, just points at someone on the phone. Not a word. Then im asked by a 3rd person about if I had my lab work done. No one told me a t anytime I needed them again and they give me an attitude of im bothering them. I have had it with this disgraceful excuse for a staff. I wont be returning again even though I need another procedure done. Too bad the doctor doesnt address this issue. It could cause his failure.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Shahzad Ahmad! He is a wonderful doctor. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Dr. Shahzad is always willing to help me at any time and goes out of his way to make sure our needs are taken care of. He spends enough time with you to get to know you and to treat the whole person. Dr. Shahzad was highly recommended to me by another physician and I totally see why. His nurse, Lora, is great, too.Thanks to a great team!

I was referred to Dr. Ahmad for a 2nd opinion, after another doctor recommended I have my thyroid removed. I am thrilled with Dr. Ahmad’s deliberate and conscientious approach. He is a curious, smart data scientist, and his expert use of blood tests and other diagnostics led to the conclusion that no treatment is warranted at this time. He was tenacious about getting to the bottom of my case. So refreshing! He is my endocrinologist of choice and I highly recommend him!

I visited Dr. Shahzad Ahmad at their Park City office. Their staff was highly professional, environment was good enough and when I met with Dr. Shahzad Ahmad, He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable person. I was there for about 30 minutes with him. He explained me everything and prescribed medications. I was very impressed by his behavior with me. Luckily, now they are moving to their new office in Salt Lake City which is also near to my home. It is good to have a doctor and his team like Dr. Shahzad Ahmad in Salt Lake City.

Wow, experience with Dr. Shahzad Ahmad was so satisfying! I visited his Salt Lake City office in the past week. The staff was super friendly, and doctor spent enough time with me. First, he listened to me carefully and then he explained my situation, diagnosed it, and answered all of my questions. He didn’t take my insurance but it was well worth paying out of pocket. I can’t thank him enough for treating my issue in the best way possible. Thank God, I am very happy to have this doctor now.

Few months ago, I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and was treated at Park City Hospital by Dr. Shahzad Ahmad. As always, my visit with Dr. Shahzad Ahmad was great! He is always so good at covering all the bases. But the one thing I would say is his outstanding trait, he is never in a hurry and answers all my questions and concerns. Dr. Ahmed is a very good doctor. He is quite knowledgeable and helpful. The office corrected the process for lab orders, and they can now email them directly to me to take to the lab.

The office staff here were helpful and friendly. It did seem like they had a lot of patients for the staff they had. I really have no complaints about the office staff.Dr. Ahmad on the other hand appeared quite aarrogant.He didnt seem inclined listen to anything I had to say. I had a suggestion and a request and to his credit he agreed to work with me. He granted the requests. However when they proved beneficial it seemed that he was disappointed at best, almost angry that they actually worked. He told me to go back to my family practice doctor as he no longer wanted to follow my care.

Last month I felt pain at the base of my neck, which was causing swallowing and breathing difficulties. I consulted it with my family doctor, who diagnosed me with fluid-filled lumps in my thyroid and referred me to Dr. Shahzad Ahmed at Endocrinology Center of Utah. I found Dr. Shahzad Ahmed very kind and expert in treatment. He suggested a fine needle aspiration biopsy. Now I feel quite comfortable and healthy with his treatment. My overall experience with Dr. Shahzad Ahmed was excellent.

I didnt even notice that it has been 4 years since my thyroid issue was resolved by Dr. Ahmad. I just came back to research who was that doctor who helped me to regain my health. I heard before that when you get cough and cold easily, there maybe abnormality on your thyroid. I dont know for sure if it is true. Dr. Ahmad took the time to explain in detail what was going on and the treatment options. Some doctors talk down to patients when explaining things, but Dr. Ahmad spoke to me as an equal,.average person. Despite my case being abnormal, he was willing to analyze it with a full effort.

We went to Dr. Ahmad and we were not happy with the care. He did an ultrasound and his final recommendation was a thyroid medication which after research, you become dependent on. I didnt feel like there was much care involved on the part of Dr. Ahmad. We were very underwhelmed by our experience and overwhelmed by the charges. After our insurance, we are near $400 for about 30 min of consultation. We cancelled our follow-up appointments and are choosing a different route of care. I advise to look on yelp for Dr. Ahmad as well as reviews are not so positive on this site.

First of all, these people are a pain to get a hold of. Your call will just go to an answering machine, that says they will call you back within 24 to 48 hours, and if one of your medications needs prior authorization, good luck.They keep all office visits under 7 minutes to maximize income.

One morning I woke up with fatigue and muscle cramps. I went to my family physician and told him about my symptoms. He performed a complete checkup and was unable to find any serious cause of these symptoms and prescribed painkillers. Rather than taking painkillers for two days, the symptoms were still the same. I went to more than four different doctors, before going to Park City Hospital where I found Dr. Shahzad Ahmad. He diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and treated me with Levothyroxine. Now I am free from my hypothyroidism. I found Dr. Shahzad Ahmad expert and helpful. Will definitely recommend him to my friends who are suffering hypothyroidism.

If you want to pay $500 dollars and get no answers, and have a dr. That spends no time with you. This is the place to go. He wanted to put me on drugs for hyperthyroidism. When I did my research I found that the dosage was extremely high. Again when I asked him about if it was a high dosage he said to take it. Not worth it.
