The visit with Dr. Smith was fine. However, no one answers the phone and we have never received a call back. My husband has diabetes and weve been trying for a week to give updated insurance information so he can have new prescriptions sent in for insulin and his cgm but havent been able to do so because no one will answer. This disease is life or death and its completely unacceptable the lack of communication and the ability to reach someone to get him the medication he needs to live. Do not recommend this office.

It is very HARD to get in touch with the office. No one answers the phone or calls you back after leaving a message. (In a timely manner)The Klara app isnt any better. Still took a week to get a response. The only way I have been able to speak to people in the office is by showing up and getting in front of someone. I hope they get things figured out soon.

This Dr and clinic is a joke. On 3 separate occasions I’ve needed to contact the Dr or MA or receptionist, or any human being who’d even try to help me. But no one was available. On multiple occasions I needed lab orders sent to the lab (same lab I always used) and got zero help. After multiple messages and wasted trips to the lab we finally got it figured out. But then again on next follow up, same thing. I never changed labs?!?! How can they not get the lab orders sent to the same lab that was always used and providing them lab results?!?! Unless you’ve got tons of time to pointlessly waste, then avoid Dr Gamble. Or maybe the whole clinic cause I tried every possible extension for the office.

Avoid this office if at all possible. I am in a dire situation to get some help. My primary doctor sent me here. It has been over a year before they have gotten anything done. They do not answer their phones. I have to leave work early just to go to the office and get something done that takes a phone call. If you have to go here avoid Stacy Perry, DPM. She does not care for her patients even though she will promise you up and down she will have you taken care of. Please avoid. It is scary this office is caring for humans that have life threatening issues. I have reported them to the DOPL and encourage anyone and everyone else that have had issues with this office to do so as well.

Health care providers are great. Ive met with two of their doctors and had great experiences with both. However, my experience with the front desk has been quite the opposite. Of all the times I have called them about appointments, lab orders, billing, etc., they have only answered the phone maybe three times (and Ive been going to this place for over a year now). Every other time Ive had to leave a voicemail, although their mailbox is often full. And when I do leave a voicemail, I usually dont hear back for a week or two (or maybe they dont call back at all--that did happen once). They also seem to struggle with sending lab requests over. One time they even admitted to me that they had just forgotten to send the lab requests to my hospital.I tried to schedule an appointment online once, but they never reached out to me to confirm it. I called several times, they never answered. Now here I am, 2 weeks after my appointment was supposed to happen, and I finally get a call back from them. Not impressed and will be switching to a different provider.

My Health started to get worst during the pandemic with no relief in sight. I asked my boss if I could leave early to go to the VA to get a refill on my medications; that opened up a discussion on my health. At the time I was unaware what I had which is a Metabolic Syndrome. Metabolic Syndrome from my research is a collection of high blood sugar, high triglycerides, high blood pressure, abdominal fat, etc. causing a high chance for the risk for heart disease. I was so exhausted and broken. I made an appointment with Gamble as my coworker suggested. One month later I was able to get in. I was prescribed a regimen that at first was rough but I made it through the hardest part. My energy and overall happiness is on the up and up. Things are going to be a bright Sun Shiny Day.

Dave Gamble saved my life. He alone has improved my overall health by 100%. He is very through in his testing and diagnostics, and because of that He saved my life. While performing a CT scan for my adrenal gland, he found an abdominal mass. Thankfully he informed me of that mass and I was able to get it removed. The mass and a medication called metotoprol, that I was on caused an incorrect diagnosis of heart failure. However, since the mass was removed and I am no longer on metotoprol, my heart failure symptoms have completely gone. Additionally, he found and treated my thyroid cancer. Basically, I had cancer and now I do not. I am very grateful to Dave Gamble for this and finding the cancer before it was too late to successfully treat. He is a great doctor and I would highly recommend him.

I recently was seen in the Salt Lake office for thyroid issues . I was very excited to finally see a specialist for my issues . Unfortunately that was short lived. I arrive at the office to be rudely greeted by the receptionist at the front desk . I had to stand at the front desk for a couple of minutes while she was finishing up on her cell phone without her mask on!!! Once she was done with her with private call , her demeanor was unacceptable to a newer patient . I was Completely appalled by her Appearance , it looked like she rolled out of bed and came straight to work . I finally checked in and greeted by The medical assistant which was dressed appropriate and clean looking . Great attitude!!! Visited with the provider and very pleased .... After the appointment , did my labs and went back up to the front desk which I dreaded doing . My impression of the office staff and the provider amazing. But for the front desk girl , I’m not sure how the office is still running . Next time I want to be around someone who is rude and wearing Pajamas I will go home to my kids ...

Dr. Gamble did not give me direct information and didnt even take the time to explain the meds he was putting me on or the diagnoses that he gave me at my appointment, when I emailed for some clarification it took weeks to get a reply and that reply was dr. gamble saw my email but was basically too lazy to answer a single one of my questions. There were 7 of them most yes, no or a number answer. When I call the MA doesnt answer the phone so I leave a message that also doesnt get returned for weeks. The information they took from me was not accurate (didnt have meds listed in my chart that I wrote on the intake paper.) He also didnt know what dose of meds I was taking which he prescribed! He supposedly had it in his record that he increased the dose at the last visit when he actually started me on the med at the last visit. How is this kind of carelessness ok when dealing with another persons body?I called to get my test results and was told they they wouldnt give them to me but they would be on my portal so I set that up and nothing was in my portal. I has been over 3 week and still nothing. Now they are messaging me through an app. What is the point of the portal. Im very upset about the lack of communication, the disorganization, and the overall lack of patient care. I would not recommend this place to anyone who actually needs medical help. After 20 years of battling poor diagnosticians and doctors unwilling to collaborate with other doctors or even listen to me as the patient, I found Utah Endocrinology and everything changed. These guys were wonderful. They were able to see where my levels were off by just looking at my face during my first visit. They are now managing all of my endochrin care going forward. My experience has been that endocrinologists are very academia based lacking the clinical experience to treat, when it comes to pituitary tumors or basically any thing that is not Diabetes or Thyroid based. Not so in this practice, a practice where they have real clinical experience relating to the endochrin system. My first visit may have saved my life due to their real clinical experience and the fact they take the time to listen and observe.I would wholly ignore the bad reviews that are posted for this company. The office staff was so extremely friendly and helpful I simply left pleased as could be. The comments about not seeing the owner of the practice and Only dealing with a physicians assistant etc are from people obviously new to being sick. The best care is often provided by people that are spending their life being mentored by the owner of a medical practice. In this case as with most I found all the medical staff I dealt with including the phlebotomist, were educated at a level rarely seen. They all have real clinical experience with pituitary tumors and the many different directions they could take you as well as all the drugs and side effects associated with having that illness. This practice is ran in such a way that whoever you are meeting with will have the qualifications nessesary to treat you. As far as cost. Well this practice is the most reasonable specialist I have had the chance to go to in the 20 years since my first tumor was discovered. As I read the other reviews that were on the negative side I was compelled to set the record straight. Dont delay making your appointment now. You may just find someone who will actually want to participate in helping you maintain a good well being. I know I did.

Klara is a phone service where you leave text messages. I ran out of supplies so I went to the office and had to wait for them to make the appropriate phone call and get the prescription filled out correctly. I finally got my supplies one day before I was out of supplies. I felt like they didnt want to help. It wasnt until I finally used Klara to cancel my next appointment that they contacted me. They just blamed the staff which is very unprofessional. They wanted me to do an appointment just to fill out the form because it took them a month to notice that it was not completed (yes I gave them that much time) and since the doctor didnt feel comfortable filling out the form, they wanted to charge me another $300 ( that is what a visit cost, of course most of it is pay by my insurance but that not the point). I asked to be transfer to another doctor, in this case they transfer me to Jaclyn, another bad experience, this one never saw the documents I send before and she could care less about my symptoms. My appointment was so quick, I felt like she just wanted to see my face, fill out the form that I needed previously and get my money. Then she told me to come back in 8 weeks that I was going to be fine. Also she said she was going to call me after she sees my blood work and she never did. Really bad service. I went to Peru to check myself previously and the doctor spent almost an hour with me, listening and taking notes and prescribing me medicine that made me feel better. You might think this country would have a better service for the money but you are wrong. I might try to transfer somewhere else after my second visit in 8 weeks but by then I would have probably seen another doctor because I feel like they just do not care.

The reception area was plenty spacious & very neat. The receptionist was very friendly & helpful. The doctor took time to explain everything in simple but not demeaning language. Everything flowed smoothly & I never had to wait very long.

Working with this team has assisted me in significantly lowering my A1c in a short period of time. They understand new medications and are assertive in their treatments. They are easy to communicate with and are responsive when needed. I’d recommend them to anyone seeking help to control their diabetes.

Dr. Falahati is most accommodating. As his Salt Lake appointment calendar was entirely filled, my husband and I first saw him at the South Ogden facility and were then able to transition with follow-up appointments in Salt Lake.It was exhilarating to finally communicate with someone who is experienced and thoroughly understands my issues....A plan was then set forth to treat and to strategically monitor and assess my situation resulting in a cessation of worry and my being at peace.

Worst billing system ever! They use an outside company that they communicate with. It takes over a week to get an answer on billing. You can never get an answer same day, the billing has to talk with the office and they communicate back and forward. It is very inconvenient. The main endocrinologist pawns you off to a PA and all he does is look at lab results. If your results are fine... then you are perfect. They don’t look further than what your lab results show. I was feeling horrible and was told to take vitamins for my problem. That may cover the problem, but doesn’t solve the issue. Find anyone else to work with! A provider or clinic that really wants to help you get better. I thought I would get better care going to a specialist, nope! Not recommended at all!

I started by seeing Dr. Karnam. He is an excellent doctor and works so fast! Hes a very caring man and is extremely knowledgeable. Eventually I switched over to Dr Smith and hes a very caring gentle physician. I couldnt seem to get full answers to my stomach issues because it ended up being a rare disorder but I believe they did an excellent job in trying to find the answers. Once we discovered the problem, they did all they could to help me. I would recommend either doctor to you.

Was very disappointed in my experience, especially because my first appointment gave me such hope for answers. I have been under the care of my regular family doctor for 16 months with an elevated white blood count, swollen and painful lymph nodes, inflammation, night sweats, weight gain, headaches, extreme fatigue, and because my body has been fighting something it has reactivated my mono. I told him they put me on 3 rounds of z-pack and my count only elevated. When we found the cyst in my pituitary gland, we were hopeful for some answers and some relief. My first appointment with the Utah Endocrinology, he review my most recent blood work and said he wanted to run yet more blood work to truly dive deeper into my condition. He reviewed my CT scan with me and said he wasnt too concerned but was more interested in the other symptoms and getting me well again. I left feeling so hopeful. When I returned just two weeks later, I wasnt even worth his time and instead met with yet another person entirely that had NO clue about any of my history and in fact - word for word said, Do you have a regular family doctor? You may want to get in to see her again. You have a highly concerning white blood count. I wanted to cry. I came to get answers and instead she didnt read a word of my chart, the blood tests I just spent MORE money on in addition to the two appointments that I now have to pay for only told me to come back in a year and we will run another MRI on your cyst, oh and call your doctor because your white blood count is high and you might an infection somewhere in your body.. Waste of time and money and only discouraged me and my belief in the medical industry.

I have always had a great experience with this place. Dr. Falahati and Dr. Wilkerson are amazing to work with. The staff in the front are also very helpful. I am so glad that I found this place to get my issues worked out. I drive from South Ogden and its definitely worth it. Thank you!

The office staffs several doctors so this post is specifically in regards to David Gamble. While Ive had decent experiences with the office as a whole (Ive seen other posts about Lupe and he is just as great as stated; I hate having my blood drawn and Lupe manages to get the vein on the first try and with almost no pain), dealing with Dr. Gamble, and his staff, is exactly as his name implies: a gamble. In order to speak to anyone on Dr. Gambles staff, Ive had to call several times across mupltiple days and leave a handful of messages. And if youre calling expecting quick results, dont expect them. Even if you leave detailed instructions with a staff member, they take forever to get anything done and you should always check to make sure it has been done because they dont always get things completed. Ive had vitally important insurance paperwork take three months to be completed and returned. I sent them a drivers license form to be completed and sent in and it never was.Im switching to another doctor, one who actually returns calls and does their job, as soon as I can. If you never have to get in contact with your doctor outside of appointments, then Im sure Dr. Gamble would be fine for you. But if you ever need anything? Forget it.

They are not helpful and only interested in selling you stuff. I was put on blood presser medicine and I don’t have a blood pressure problem. But every time I would go in there they would sell me some new drug. The doctor won’t even allow you to see him you have to see his nurse practitioner who schedule doesn’t work for anybody but him. He’s also the one trying to put me on all kinds of weird drugs. I wish I could have given them a zero.

Very poor management has driven all valuable and skilled employees elsewhere. David Gamble and Kelly Perkins are both very resourceful and great providers and I would highly recommend. Dr. Falahati is very knowledgeable but is not always the best with personal interactions. It is very sad to see a constantly changing staff due to poor leadership and management skills but if you are looking for a FNP or PA to assist in your endocrinology I would highly recommend here. As well as Dr, Brady is a phenomenal doctor and will always listen to you endlessly.

I’ve been seeing Dave Gamble for a few years. He’s super understanding, explains things thoroughly, and is great at listening to any concerns or issues I have. He even lets me come in so he can give me a shot because I am incredibly afraid of needles and unable to give it to myself yet. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The staff is always rude except for two people. Had one of the receptionist say she wasn’t going to answer the phone because she was in a bad mood while the phone kept ringing. I was pregnant and was going to have my A-1C checked and the front office girl stated I had orders to check my testosterone. I replied I definitely don’t have balls and an pregnant. My old doctor left and I completely understand why. I would recommend to anyone to see any other endocrine office besides this one.

I have been on Testosterone treatment for many years. Had some things come up so my primary wanted me to see an endocrinologist. I was shopping around for an endocrinologist that treats the patient not the numbers. When I first spoke to,Whoever it was, that set me up an appointment with Dr. Falahati they said yes we do that. My first appointment was to meet with Dr. Falahati and his assistant Kathryn Evans and get blood drawn. I instantly felt they were in a rush and werent to concerned to hear my story. A week later went back for a follow up and to see where to go from there. Of course my test levels were very low. I now was seeing Kathryn evens not Dr Falahati. She prescribed me a very low dose of test to start, which i was fine with, and said come back in 6 weeks. After leaving and picking up my prescription I realized I was not given enough to last six weeks at their recommended dose. I tried to call them. I dont know their call system but it was impossible to contact them. So a few days later I drove across 2 towns to let them know. While explaining to the receptionist my delama Dr Falahati came out. He said well, well just write another prescription for a bigger amount. I mentioned I had a $20 co pay that I had already paid and my insurance probably wont cover it if i go back to get more so soon. He said well its only going to cost you like $50. I said yeah on top of the $20 I just paid. I just didnt feel Like this was my fault so I shouldnt have to do that. Ended up waiting til my insurance would cover the new prescription, paying another co pay, and I was good to go.Today was my 6 week follow up and i met with Kathryn Evans. She gave me my results and asked how I was feeling. I said I feel fine but not any significant difference between 6 weeks ago and now. She said well these are your results and they are within the ranges we are comfortable with. I said ok so where do we go from here? Because I dont feel any better. Also reminded her that they told me they were comfortable with a set of ranges and i was just kind of above middle of those ranges. I said well cant we bump it up to see how I feel at those optimal ranges you said was ok? She ignorantly said I know you want your test levels to be through the roof but we are happy with where they are. I said no I just want to be healthy and feel good. She said I suggest you see your primary care doc and see if your military trauma has anything to do with it. Maybe do some counseling or something. She then said in a very snide way, look like I said before Im not going to increase your dose! I then replied so you obviously dont treat the patient you treat the numbers. The exact opposite of what I was told. At this point she is extremely rude with her every statement and says again, like I said Im not going to increase it do you want to continue treatment here or shop around. Then she told me I am not going to have this conversation with you anymore. Of course I said I do not want to continue treatment here. Without saying anything she just walked out the office.I would never recommed this place to anyone. I work in and am educated in the physical fitness/nutrition world. This place reminds me of what my profession and those in it call the wack am and crack type of physician. They treat the numbers, they dont care to know your personal history, and just want to pump people in and out of there fast as they can. The more they can the nore money they make. That was the impression I got anyway.
