I went to Dr. Rixt Luikenaar when I looking for a solution to something that caused me pain and discomfort almost daily and I have struggled with for years. At the appointment she basically told me there was no surgery she knew of or could do to help me. Now, a year later I went back after having surgery elsewhere and the surgery went great. But I had another problem after the surgery due to being assaulted. She first acknowledged that the type of surgery I had, she can perform, but again basically said there wasnt anything she could do. She seems nice enough but I wonder if she really cant help me or if possibly shes just not wanting to (or being told not to, as crazy as it sounds..) I was a little disappointed.

Dr. Luikenaar has been my doctor for about 14 years. She is a caring and compassionate doctor who takes the time to listen to her patients and makes sure that all questions are answered. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

The doctors were very professional ans we got straight to the point... Idk if its just me or not but i usually do NOT like doctors... Usually they are really hard fo handle and it isnt my thing.. But this visit was enjoyable and fast, they also knee what they were doing.

My visit was my first I was very nervous and everyone made me feel confortable. Looking forward to my many future visits.

The staff was very lovely and insightful. Could tell I was nervous and adjusted right away. Its a very comfortable environment and I felt respected and safe.

When I walked in the receptionist called me by my preferred name and I didnt have to correct anyone. It was a wonderful feeling. Dr. Luikenaar herself can sometimes be late, but shes very busy and seems to be the only doctor that hasnt nervously stuttered at me the moment I walked in, so I can tell she deserves the traffic she gets. Her demeanor is very calculated and confident, which I like in a doctor. I like how she knows what shes doing, she knows what shes talking about, and she gets me out the door quickly with my prescriptions and either a healthy diagnosis or a name for what I have.

Very grateful to have Dr. Luikenaar and her wonderful staff at such a close proximity. I have always recieved kind and helpful treatment here. Thank you!

Rixt was my very first visit to a gynecologist and I could not be happier with my visit! I was a little nervous and unsure going in, but Rixt has such good vibes and I was pretty immediately at ease. Rixt walked me through everything that was going to happen, and she told me what she was doing as she was doing it. This was particularly helpful as I have suffered traumatic sexual experiences in the past. Rixt made the whole process very easy and comfortable. I am so happy to have found Rixt’s practice and have already recommended her to loved ones!

I have been seen by Dr Luikenaar for a few years now and I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about everyone! For me I feel sometimes you may not always click with every doctor you try to see and for me that is fine. People forget that the doctors and staff are also human therefore meaning they may not treat you exactly the same as a previous doctor may have, in return people get upset and post very negative responses. Not necessary I feel. If your not happy just find another doctor. Lets all be caring and thoughtful to each others feelings which is the way Dr. Luikenaar and staff tries her best to treat each if us.🙂

One of my worst pet peeves about a doctor’s appointment has always been being treated like a number...thank you, next. At this office you’re treated with dignity and respect. Dr. Luikenaar is unbelievably attentive and takes interest in your life in general. She listens to you with an open mind and open heart. She has impeccable bedside manners. I’ve only had two appointments with her so far but I’m her patient for life now. Highly recommended.

Dr. Luikenaar knew what I was seeing her for prior to my visit regarding the large cyst on my ovary and the painful irregular cycles, yet she tells me that she cannot help me. She also elaborated that she is getting sued which is something she should not be telling a new patient. She was recommended to me as being a liberal treatment doctor and she is not. She also does her surgeries at LDS hospital which is a Mormon hospital. She will waste your time and your money and is rather harsh.

Dr. Luikenaar and her staff are courteous and professional individuals. My girlfriend and I have been impressed with their service and open communications with each visit.

I love the care I receive with Dr. Luikenaar. She makes me feel welcomed, comfortable, and personally cared for.

I have to honestly say I am very disappointed with the service I received from the staff and Dr. It started out really well, I have been in contact with Florence who sent over the paperwork I needed to fill out which I sent back on a timely fashion. There is a $100 fee for no-shows or cancellation. I had an appointment for 9:15am online to meet with the Dr. and as a new patient, I was looking forward to this appointment. I called the office at 9:25am to follow up since I havent heard anything from the Dr. via telehealth. At 9:40am I am checking in with the medical assistant who then asks many questions of which most of them are the same questions on the paperwork they request you submit prior to the appointment, which I dont mind answering. What upset me was, it was now almost 50 minutes from my original appointed time and I havent heard from anyone on what the status was or given any notification as to why it was so late. I messaged the Dr which she casually replied she had patients in clinic and shell be with me shortly. At 10:16am (One hour past my original appointment) she is online, but now states she cannot see nor hear me. I have never had issues with my up-to-date computer and network connectivity, EVER, and I work from home so, I know she is being dishonest saying she cannot hear or see me, when I can in fact see her and hear her. The Dr has her medical assistant invite me to set up another time to come in person to see her. I offered to use ZOOM or RE-TRY to connect telehealth but she declined. I dont understand why I was treated so unprofessionally and as a new patient, cannot refer them to anyone. Poor customer service, failure to show up on time, failure to responsibility and accountability.

I had been married 16 years and struggled with infertility. I had been unsuccessful with treatments from my previous OBGYN. Rixt worked with me for 4 months in 2010 and I got pregnant. I lost that baby at 5 months. My next pregnancy is my son who is 9 years old now. I remember her saying to me. Your body knows now how to have a 👶 be careful. I now have 5 kids. 9 through 2 years old. I went to her facility today for an appointment. The facility is clean and they take all precautions to protect patients and employees. Masks, gloves, sanitizer. Love this place

Everyone was really friendly :) I appreciated the time Dr. Luikenaar took with me and that nothing was pushed on me. I was given time to think about things for future visits and options at that time, which I really like!

She is nice and helps you with whatever you want and the wait times are great. Although I do wish she asked more probing questions for concerns you have rather than letting you do all the talking.Also Wish she saw patients on Friday’s though. That would be very helpful.**I think the clinic could use some remodeling and updating to look more clean and welcoming. ***Very small clinic with small waiting room and not private when talking to front desk about hour health and personal information because waiting room can get crowded with no privacy.**

I read some reviews about Dr. Luikenaar and the place itself. I was a little nervous to be going to a new doctor, but I was so over my current one. From the second I walked in to the minute I walked out I felt valued. The receptionist was kind and patient. When other clients came in you could tell they felt welcomed and accepted, too. The nurse was really sweet and personable. I didn’t get treated like a number. Dr. Luikenaar came in shortly after I was sat down and we started talking. She answered all of my questions and asked important ones, too. Again, I didn’t feel like a number. She didn’t seem like she was in a hurry to get me in and get me out. I have never felt this welcomed at a doctors office. I’m so lucky I found her. It’s stress relieving knowing that you FINALLY don’t have to dread going to the doctor. This is a good bunch of people. I can’t thank them enough for the warm welcome and the experience.

Rixts is an amazing doctor. I went to several OBGYNs to find out what my condition was and get help. I was diagnosed with a condition when I was 15 via ultrasound and every doctor I went to didnt seem to be able to help with the symptoms. Rixts was the first doctor that said lets do a laparoscopy and see whats going on. I finally found the answers that my parents and I have been trying to find out for a long time. Shes helped me more than anybody has ever been able to. Her staff is absolutely amazing Dora and Florence are wonderful. I highly recommend and seeing her and her staff.

Doctor told me that I cannot have this baby naturally I would have to have a C-section I told her no I moved back so in salt lake Ima dr. I went to see Dr. Luikrnaar to get on testosterone and she was very informative and kind. I was hesitant to go because I was worried I had to prove my transness or that because I wasnt fully transitioning, I would be denied. And that wasnt the case at all! She was fully supportive of me wanting to get on T for certain physical features and that I dont want to be on it for life. She helped me with my concerns and was so assuring when she addressed them. I left the office with having my first shot done and a lot of information about transitioning and other health care resources for people with uteruses!

Everyone was professional and caring at this office. My annual exam was just fine and Dr. Luikenaar patiently listened to and addressed my health concerns.
