I’ve had pain in my big toe for 10 years. I’ve seen several different doctors and gotten all different opinions. I’ve had countless cortisone injections, orthotics, and shoe adjustments. Finally I found Dr Timothy Beals with Rosenberg Cooley Metcalf Clinic. He has been an answer to my prayers. He practices and teaches at the U of U and IHC. He is skilled and humble abb and treats you like family. He decided a scope of my big toe would be best. He found a flap of loose cartilage that never would have been detected on MRI, or fixed without surgery. On X-ray my joint didn’t look too bad, but symptomatically it’s been sore for years. I’ve had to wear firm sole shoes to keep my toe from moving. I’m so glad I didn’t follow the other doctors recommendations of shortening my toe bone, joint fusion, or artificial cartilage insert.Dr. Beals’s conservative and thorough approach and years of expertise saved me. If you need an amazing foot doctor, he is your guy!

Timothy Beals is an amazing doctor. I had my ankle fused and thought my life would never be the same. He was the only one that had the confidence to say it would be fine. Its been at least 5 years and I still play basketball twice a week. He is also humble enough to understand that although a gifted doctor, he knows his gift has come from god. He realizes this and does his best to help you heal and leave the rest up to the lord. His bedside manners are amazing which this day is harder and harder to come by. Thank you for all that you have done for me and my family.

I had a peroneal tendon repair and a little foot reconstruction with Dr. Beals. A great Dr. He spent a ton of time with me, was very personable and had great explanations of everything, and Im back to playing tennis 4 days a week. Highly recommended.

After years of bouncing around both podiatrists and orthopedics and being told many different possibilities and considering serious surgical procedures. We finally found Dr. Beals. It took a few months to get in with him. They where very behind on the day of my appointment, but it was all worth it. Dr. Beals took his time with me and considered all possibilities by discussing other health issues. He was extremely thorough. Out of all the other doctors I meant with he was the only one to recommend an MRI of my feet. From this he was able to pin point what was going on. My case is extremely rare for someone of my age. He called me on the phone, on the weekend to discuss options and explain what he found. He treated me as if I where his son. He not only gave professional advice but expressed concern for quality of a good life and getting me back to doing the things I enjoy. I am now on the mend after going through two procedures and have high hope for the future. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Beals attention to detail and care.

We had to travel 4 hours from our home to have Dr. Beals do surgery on our daughters feet. His staff has been amazing, helping us answer questions and getting information to us so quickly. We were able to work remotely by sending photos of x-rays and pictures of the wound site. Dr. Beals has personally called more than once to check on us. I cant recommend he and his staff enough. Words cant describe how pleased we are with the care weve recieved. If you need any orthopaedic work done, I highly recommend Dr. Beals. We have never had a more caring doctor.
