I had one of the worst experiences of my life under the care of Dr. Agarwal. I broke my jaw and Dr. Agarwal overestimated her abilities in such a way that could have taken my life.I arrived at the ER shortly after I had a terrible bike accident. I had an X-ray and was told that the results showed the right side of my jaw was completely severed and the left side had a fracture along the length of the temporomandibular joint. I was told I needed to have surgery the next day before the bone started to heal in the wrong position.Upon arrival to surgery the following day, Dr. Agarwal assured me that she would be inserting a plate under my lower jaw’s gums and wiring my mouth shut to allow the jaw to heal by preventing any movement. I went through with the surgery and a week later Dr. Agarwal had me come in to cut the wires holding my jaw shut. After she cut the wires, my jaw began to move while I was conscious, heaving and about to pass out. I was in the process of choking on my own vomit. Since my jaw was still broken, I couldn’t open my mouth to get the vomit out. She forced Ondansetron into my mouth which prevented my death. After this, Dr. Agarwal said she needed to get me in to see an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. The same day, I went in to see the Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. They told me that the previous surgery was done incorrectly. Dr. Agarwal drilled screws into my gums which did not provide any support for the stabilization and healing of my jaw and the plate was too short. To fix my jaw correctly, the Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon had to drill into the bone to ensure the wires would not move during my healing. Additionally, they put a longer plate under my gums, in my lower jaw, to provide a structural healing guideline for that part of my jaw.Two years later, I contacted the University of Utah Risk Management Department to request an apology from Dr. Agarwal for her exaggerated profession of her abilities and my deductible. I got sent on a logistical merry-go-round. I never got an apology for her traumatizing ego that put me in psychological places difficult to describe. I never got any money back either. I can say, with most definite certainty, this woman exaggerated her abilities while putting me through an unnecessary, near death experience. She only saw the need to send my complicated case to an expert when I nearly died in front of her. My healing time was greatly extended due to her unwarranted confidence. This gross negligence I experienced is so traumatizing. I have severe anxiety whenever I think of this. I want anyone who is reading this to prevent a horrible medical catastrophe for themselves. If one prospective patient steers clear of a near death experience, extended healing time, or death, this review has done it’s job.

I got ftm top surgery with her December 17th 2020. I was extremely worried, but she and her team did so well to calm and ease my nerves. The results are already amazing. She did a great job at explaining everything to me and keeping me and my partner updated.Theyre amazing with keeping correct pronouns and being knowledgeable in trans topics. I would recommend her in a heartbeat

I had liposuction done with Dr. Cori Agarwal. My waist measurement went from 38 to 34 (got a 100 on my PT test). If I had to get it again (I got it solely to fix my waist measurement which wont matter next year), I would go with Dr. Agarwal again--she was very honest and professional. I think she did an outstanding job.
