Good luck trying to get in to see someone in a timely manner. I was sent to the Emergency Department by ambulance for a bad arrhythmia which required them to shock my heart. No one from cardiology even came over to the ED to see me or talk about anything, the ED gave me some meds while my rhythm was still really bad and said go home, and follow up with cardiology. Cardiology department said the soonest they could get me in anywhere was over a month away. I followed up with my PCP and he looked at the cardiology schedule and found openings all over the place including the day I saw him so we called to see if I could be seen in one of their openings and they confirmed that there was an opening but the doctor refused to grant me the same day appointment and would not give reason. They just said we are sorry we cannot see you during this opening, have a great day and ended our conversation. Very dis-heartening (no pun intended) when you can plainly see they have openings and they refuse to see a patient in need.

I went with my neice, who just had a heart transplant. I was so impressed at the care she received today. Four appointments all lined up in one day, so that she didnt need to come back for each one. At the end, the whole team came in to meet and clarify with her. Thank you for giving her a future with her family.

Ya the wait was long. But this place was well worth the wait. Doctor Wilson at least came across as he sincerely cared. Thats why the wait was longer than normal because he took his time in the office. He wasnt rushing us out like normal. I would recommend him to anybody.

Excellent team. Very professional and personable. They all seem to go out of their way to be pleasant, helpful, and informative. I also enjoy the odd medical student participating.

I frequent this office with my grandma and theyre consistently running behind, wait times are very long. The younger kids in the office are always on their phones, and seem clueless. The doctors are fabulous, and most the p.a.s are as well.

I frequently go with my wife here. The other review gives a bad review on this because they choose a bad time slot. They offer many different apmt times and if you slightly change your time you wont go there when there is a rush.

I’ve heard nothing but positive things about the University of Utah, but so far it’s been an unpleasant experience. Similar to other posts, wait times are very high and the staff has been very flustered and unorganized. It’s about to a point where I’m looking for other cardiologists that specialize in my heart condition. Very disappointed.
