My Grandsons counselor is Wonderful, she is so good with him. However the clinic itself sure leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to customer service. If you are frustrated about something they will put you on hold and just leave you there. And getting a refill sent in in from Dr. Jacobs is nearly impossible. She didnt send in refills after the follow up meeting for the correct medication, and Liz her assistant just argued with me. The pharmacy has sent over requests for 3 days now, and still nothing. My Grandson ran out Sunday night, but they sure dont seem concerned about that, in fact she told me that getting the prescription from someone in Their system was my problem, not hers and getting him is medication wasnt her problem. She told me to find a pharmacy that was accepted the insurance, and I gave her Walmart and Walgreens. Not in their system. She didnt even offer to try to get a pharmacy near us on their list. I had to ask and ask. When I asked, does this mean I just take him off his Prozac, Liz responded with Well if that is what you need to do because you cant get to our pharmacy It was 90 miles away. I do not know why someone with such serious lack of concern for people they work with would be in a mental health clinic.

I went into the clinic and service was amazing. AnnaLee was so kind and patient and our doctor was a great listener. Thanks for all you do!!

Myself and my husband went into the clinic about a month ago because we wanted to start couples therapy. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted with the sweetest faces by the name of Liz and Maria. Liz helped us out with every question we had about their services and stayed so warm and professional the entire time but also made us laugh til we were in tears. For older folks like us, it’s not very often people (workers) will take time to actually get to know you and your needs. She provided all the paperwork we needed and more. Due to personal reasons we haven’t been able to proceed but we definitely will soon. If their receptionists are that wonderful I have no doubt in their therapists.

Let me start off with the front end of this clinic, if I remember correctly the time I came in it was Liz and another girl. They were so helpful and informative, answered almost 100% of my questions (besides some billing issues). They were happy and made me laugh even though I just came in to fill out paperwork, they were talking with me as if I’d been going there for months. I could tell they really like what they’re doing unlike other places where front desk is rude and miserable. I really appreciated how willing they were to answer my questions and if they didn’t have the answer they were so quick to reach out to someone or another department who did.

Analee is extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I’m so grateful for all of her hard work and the follow up from her! She is amazing at what she does and she is a very big asset to Highland Springs!

When searching for mental health services it can often feel confusing, overwhelming, and in the past it took months for me to finally be able to see someone. My experience at Highland Springs was so easy and everyone that I spoke to was incredibly helpful. I spoke directly with the director of the clinic, at no extra cost to me, and from there she was able to guide me in the right direction for which therapist would be the best fit for me and my mental health goals. My therapist Chris is so awesome and I am very grateful for such a positive experience when I was seeking help.

AnnaLee is so understanding and attentive. Takes the time to really listen and understand every situation. I feel comfortable talking with her and felt like I was in good hands and well taking care of. Def recommend!

I was a client of highland for about 6 months. First appointment they asked me a few questions then gave me a mood stabilizer prescription. In one session Lisa told me to start taking more of another prescription I have from a gastroenterologist. She told me to start taking 3x the amount of that drug. Well, obviously taking 3x as much, I ran out of that prescription so I called and left an urgent message to highland that I need my prescription; my gastroenterologist was closed so I was hoping highland could help me out. Lisa previously told me that they could re prescribe the prescription from them, so I felt assured that they could have helped me.Never got a call back. Went a week without that prescription. (Would have been longer but my gastroenterologist helped me out, because he is actually reliable)My last appointment I missed because I thought it was supposed to be a phone call but apparently it was supposed to be on web ex or teleheath. They never properly communicated to me that it was supposed to be that way, very confusing considering all of our prior appointments were phone calls. After missing that appointment I urgently called and left a message asking to reschedule. Once again, never got a call back. Never called to see if I was okay, how my meds were working or anything. I emailed, I called, I texted, I got nothing back. Good thing I said F this and just ditched the meds and figured it out myself.They did nothing to help me, day 1 to that last day. They were no help for my needs. I felt at a loss. I felt nobody would ever help me.Long story short I stopped taking my mood stabilizer medication because I had no way to have it refilled due to Lisa nor her assistant(s) (she had 3 different ones coming and going during that time) never responding to me. I called constantly. I was in a very dark place and I desperately needed their help. They failed me. I will never go to another doctor again for my mental health. Highland Springs has showed me it isn’t even worth it.I’m better off self-medicating, as I have since I was 12.Don’t get me started on how we got charged hundred of dollars per session, with my insurance. $500 bill for telling me to take some drugs and call her later...each time... how classy and professional. I highly recommend you don’t waste your time nor money at this place!They don’t even help you anyways.It was clear they didn’t care about my well-being and only wanted my money. I am disgusted by the way this clinic runs. Absolutely unfair, unsafe, and out of line.

First and last visit to Dr Zach Perry.I got instructions on a sticky note..Canned responses is what I got for council.I wont be seeing him again.

I see Jenise Tingey here and she is one of the most understanding therapists Ive ever spoken with, she makes me feel heard without having to second guess what Im saying and she knows when Im not being 100% truthful which is a always a plus!

Dealing With new doctors can be scary but annalee made me feel so comfortable and welcome. She such a kind person and was so helpful with getting me all the help and resources that I’ve needed. Thank you for making my experience the best it could be.

This has been the best TMS experience with Annalee that I have had. Way better the the University of Utah T MS machine this works. To see the difference in my dear friend has been life changing. The U dosent let support people in which some people would benefit greatly from and could keep them coming to complete treatment. Love it here Annalee has become a friend.

I have had the best experience finally getting the help I needed after a really bad year and being looked down on getting help for my mental health. AnnaLee helped me get in ASAP and Lisa is amazing at helping me get the meds that will help me best. I really appreciate everything this clinic has helped me with!

Ive been in the process of scheduling a consultation with Beauty Laser Lab for their Dont Leave project regarding scar removal. There has been a delay in getting the appointment set up due to their staff not responding, but AnnaLee Alonzo has been so awesome in keeping me updated and reaching out. She even contacted them herself to have a rep help me directly, but since I havent had much luck with that AnnaLee is going out of her way to assure I get scheduled. After suffering some major losses in a short period of time I started going to therapy here. I had a really positive experience with both group and individual therapy. Denise helped me get through a really tough period in life and learn healthy coping skills that Ill use for the rest of my life. She even referred me to an amazing grief support group that furthered my progress and provided much needed support. I cant thank her enough!

I never thought therapy would be something for me, but honestly the whole experience has given me a outlook on like I never expected. I firmly believe if help is what your looking for give it a try. The website gives a wonderful description on the people there on hand to help you. Don’t feel pressured into it though. Take some time to learn yourself so by time you walk in the clinic you’re ready to receive the best help for you needed.I hope this review helps someone out there.

This was my first experience with Therapy and the sessions were good, although I wish that we could have discussed skills and strategies that could be used outside of appointments. Instead sessions were focused more on feelings.It wasn’t until after my second appointment did things turn south. I received a call from the receptionist about a past due bill. Up until this point, I never received an email, statement or EOB from my insurance. I called my insurance company who stated they had not received any claims from the provider and that they were in-network and covered. Called the clinic back and the receptionist tried to set me up on a payment plan. I asked to speak with their biller and was transferred to her voicemail, with no return call. Be cautious with their billing system.

My therapist was great! All the staff were very professional and I was able to schedule appointments when I needed without having to wait a long time for an appointment. Definitely would recommend!

I love this place, I’ve had amazing care with Kjarston and Jeremy. I’ve grown so much in two years of coming here, and I’m thankful for the experts that work here. Also the front staff is always kind, and welcoming!

I have reported their billing office to the Utah Attorney General’s office, Better Business Bureau, as well as Matt Gephardt for an investigation into their fraudulent practice of contacting patients and threatening collections if they do not pay bills they claim are 2/3 years old despite the patient’s proof they had paid at the time of service.

Ive been coming here for brainsway almost 3 weeks now and its super fast and easy! Great staff too.

My psychiatrist was amazing and very understanding, and my therapist helped me develop coping mechanisms that helped my situation in an astronomical way.

I have been going here for about 4 months and had an absolutely wonderful experience until a few days ago. Front desk staff was always super nice and I LOVED my therapist, but the billing department is outrageous and I now have to add front desk staff to my issue.A few days ago, I received an astronomical bill for the FIRST TIME in my 4 months of being there. Im under my familys insurance and am not super great with understanding things, so I first called the clinic thinking Id have to pay an arm and a leg for therapy. Upon making my first appointment I was told that that wouldnt be the case; insurance would cover everything and Id be paying less than $20 a visit as a copay.Upon receiving this bill, I call the insurance to see if it was a mistake. They said that wasnt the case and explained to me how exactly my medical insurance works. The person that first made my appointment had misinformed me and I actually had a large deductible I shouldve been paying towards every visit; which honestly is fine had I been told at any point in time during my weekly trips that I actually owed way more each visit and was accruing a balance, but no.I never got billed, notified, verbally told, emailed, nothing, about my balance. When I ask billing why I got a bill for the first time in the 4 months Ive been there, they tell me theyve been having issues and havent been able to send them. For 4 months. Thats insanely absurd. I have never reviewed anything in my life since I dont feel the need to, whether positive or negative, but this is probably the worst way to end my experience with therapy. Im already a struggling young adult, this doesnt help me at all. I had to cancel all upcoming appointments since I wouldnt have been able to pay for visits and my bill. Billing offered help by saying they could give me a payment plan. No billing, that DOESNT help. I still have to pay all that money I was told in the beginning I wouldnt have to pay and then was still neglected to be told I was accruing more. Thank you so much for your unhelpful comment.Love most of the people, but not being informed of literally anything is insane. I never get this angry, but Im so incredibly upset with the way they handled it. The front desk was more help when getting this bill than billing was and they said it was probably/hopefully a mistake. Apparently not. I have to sadly bring the front desk into it because I was told they could see I was accruing a balance and yet was still charging me my copay as my bill was building.If you guys dont want to have angry people coming in, COMMUNICATE. Billing, if their problems were that serious, shouldve told the front desk hey, we cant send out bills. Can you let customers know they have a balance accruing and offer to try and let them pay some of it off whenever they come in? Or, front desk even take it upon themselves to just let people know. I mean really, that was absurd that somehow nobody could tell me I owed money until my balance was practically $1000 and in internal collections.

Its hard leaving this review because on the one hand they have a great staff of mental health professionals. On the other hand, their office staff is very unprofessional. You can walk in and hear them chatting about gossip loudly. Often talking negatively about someone. Dont interrupt them while in conversation because youll probably get ignored. Also probably the reason is takes about a half hour to make an appointment or to even get a hold of anyone in the office. I tried to set up to see my therapist and the woman on the phone was impatient, cut me off and wouldnt answer my questions. If youre working in a mental health office, you should have common sense and realize this is inappropriate behavior. People come in to take care of their mental health needs, not to be made to feel worse. Cant understand why they dont have better policies and measures to make visitors feel safe. Also its a miracle if you get a call back from them

I loved the therapist, he helped so much in the few appointments I had. So 5 stars to him! Billing not so much. I cancelled a couple appointments over text/e-mail and Im still being charged for them because they claim it must have been too late. Thing is, I responded right when I got the reminder for my appointment both text and e-mail.

We have nothing but good things to say about this clinic. We have children that go here for both counseling visits and for medication management. The therapist are great, the APRN is great, and the receptionist are wonderful.

Super easy to work with, very helpful. Front desk staff has always been ready and able to answer questions. Professional and helpful. Has an auto call/text the day before an appointment that really helps. Cool peeps.

The staff has been very helpful with insurance and scheduling. The therapist Ive visited here are very understanding and knowledgeable​. It feels like Im talking to actually people who accept me when here. The therapist have a variety of skills too and DBT groups are inexpensive. Highly recommend for therapy.

Disappointed in my first visit. Receptionist were personally nice to me, but very unprofessional. Gossiping and talking about how they’re glad they don’t “feel like how the patient do here”. This made me upset bc obviously people who are there want to get help.My visit with my therapist was not what I expected. I understand that they have certain protocol they have to follow but the entire time it felt like a script. I felt like I wasn’t allowed to answer each question how I wanted to, I could tell she was getting frustrated on how long it took me to think and respond to the questions bc she would cut me off and right way give me the next question. There wasn’t much eye contact. The therapist looked at the clock/screen more than she looked at me.After my appointment I felt worse than I did before going in. I struggled finding a good place, and had high hopes for this clinic and therapist. Sadly I did not have a positive experience at all.

Went in using eap benefits for a free consultation. Was told over the phone everything would be taken care of. After my consultation everything was fine. Six months later I got a bill for a couple hundred dollars. Do not recommend this place at all.

I have been trying to get an appointment here for my daughter for a month and have left several messages. I still havent received a call back from anyone. Good thing it wasnt an Emergency.

I shouldnt have to do the work that the MA (Nicki) is supposed to do! Originally I called my insurance company to ask where a home delivery prescription should be sent. I was given a phone number for it to be called in and was told that my Dr. would have to call them. I let Nicki know and she pushed it back on me asking who it needed to be sent to when I had already given the information that was given to me by my insurance company. She seemed super put out that she had to call - which was THE DIRECTION I WAS GIVEN by my insurance company!!! She reluctantly said she would call - that was 10/16/2018. As of 10/31 (today) I had not heard back so I called back to check on it. Of course it hadnt been ordered. Of course I was given the excuse that they had not called her back. Uh, heres a thought, FOLLOW UP ON IT!!!! I was then told, again, to call my insurance company to find out where she needed to send it. I called the front desk to see if I could work with someone else and they said no so I just cancelled all of my future appointments. Its unfortunate that her laziness, negativity and lack of follow through had to ruin my entire experience because the rest of the people there were super nice.

As construction work was blocking streets in SLC, I called the clinic to let them know I would be late for my appointment, they told me I should reschedule instead, I did at their suggestion. 3 months later I got billed for cancelling the appointment. If you are looking for mental health treatment: skip this place.

I have been in therapy since I was 10 years old. I have never had a team of therapists that have helped me as much as these ladies have. I highly recommend Andrea Lunt (Therapist) and Susan Godwin (Med Specialist)

Staff are friendly and courteous. Therapists and APRNs are knowledgeable and give good advice. I would definitely recommend this place!

The doctors are okay. But the office staff is AWFUL!!! They handle sensitive clients. Its their job! They are very rude and very sarcastic. They NEVER answer the phone and when you miss appointment due to the fact that they wouldnt answer their phone to reschedule they charge you a $50 fee. No warning, nothing! They make you feel more crazy than you already are. DONT COME HERE if you want kindness, respect and compassion.

The doctors are nice but the front office is usually rude to patients. There seems to be a major disconnect from the front office staff to the doctors when getting RX refills. Its always a hassle to get a refill. The only reason I go here is because of the waiting lists everywhere else.

Everybody has a great attitude and the therapists and psychiatrists are all very kind and understanding.

Wonderful place for service and counseling. The staff are very friendly.
