I have been going to this place for 10+ years (21-31), and my oh my has it gone downhill. First let me start with the front desk woman, “Samantha”. The one with the fake nails and massive attitude. Every time I speak with her, it’s like I’m a massive inconvenience. Brenda, who used to handle all the front desk duties was the best. Now this new girl will make you feel awful for asking any type of question, even when it comes to just scheduling an appointment.Now on the Hoang. I think she is a fair DR. The problem is she’s all about the bill rate. So any chance she gets , she wants you to come into the office. They used to be willing to refill prescriptions for you via a phone call. Now it’s “you got to come in”, blah blah blah. And then once again you get to deal with the worst receptionist of all time - Samantha.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Hoang for a long time and she is the rudest doctor ever. Her bedside manner is poor and she is really condensing. Im trying to figure out why she went into medicine cause she does the bare minimum, never offers any helpful advice and is quick to ship you off to another doctor if you mention something she feels is outside of family medicine. Ive left so many appointments feeling like I just wasted my time and money. So many questions left unanswered and appointments are always rushed. The other reviews are true, found myself nodding so much cause I agreed. Get yourself a doctor who can at least pretend she cares.

I will keep try to keep it short. Your health and quality of life matters and a competent medical provider should be able to offer some basic guidance to help make that happen when it comes to your health. You will only come out of that office more frustrated and disappointed. There is no follow ups, no explanation of test results ...... really nothing :/. She takes more time writing petty emails then actually being a helpful provider. All she really cares for is how much she can upcharge your visit and any call I received from her practice was to either talk about claim issues or charging fees for first appointments.... Not once did anyone call me to go over my test results. PLEASE STAY AWAY

Teresa Hoang, M.D. deserves zero stars. I was with Dr. Kelly for my annual wellness visit, she took over for Dr. Kelly several times. I could not get any useful information from her comparing to Dr. Kelly. In addition, at the end of annual wellness visit, when she asking you do you have any question for me?, dont ask her anything, its a trap. Any single useless word comes out from her mouth, she will charge you for a couple of hundred dollars. Its a rip-off!!!

I have seen Dr. Hoang on and off for the past few years and up until the recent visit, I had little complaints, outside of feeling as though my exams were quick (Im in my mid-20s and relatively healthy, so wasnt very concerned).After my recent visit for my annual physical in March, I received a $22 copay for what I had assumed to be a regular check-up. I had written to the office in April to confirm the justification in this charge. Today (~3 weeks after my note), I finally received a response from the office, who mentioned that anything addressed outside of routine care would be considered an office visit and separate from my annual check-up.To be clear, that day, when asked if I had any questions or concerns, I had mentioned that I had pain in my wrist and wanted to get her thoughts as to whether I may have carpal tunnel. Dr. Hoang brushed off my concerns and printed out some papers for wrist exercises.Basically, she charged me an office visit for taking a few minutes to print out some wrist exercises that I probably couldve found online for free.I will not be returning, nor do I advise anyone to go to her!

I saw Dr. Hoang for several years. My employer sent me elsewhere for an “executive physical.” It was one of those all day things that included scans, mammogram, gynecology, brain studies, etc. it was in a neighboring state. I had multiple issues discovered requiring follow up with my primary care. Dr. Hoang basically said I need to follow up with the doctor who did the original orders. She didn’t have any desire to see any results of orders she didn’t make. She showed zero empathy. I was forced to find a new primary, even being in possession of orders that included an ultrasound, biopsies, and a MRI. I expected at least a compassionate response, some level of concern. I won’t go back.

Dr Hoang is an experienced doctor who has in the past provided a good standard of care. However, she informed me during a recent visit that she refused to take the COVID-19 vaccine, thereby placing her patients at risk.I cannot advise anyone to see a doctor with such a blatant disregard for life-saving medicine and patient safety.

We’re so happy we chose Dr. Hoang as our family doctor. She is very professional, hands-on, and friendly. We immediately felt comfortable with her. I’m not sure if this is a common practice at this clinic, but I love the fact that Dr. Hoang was the one who asked the questions, took the temperature, etc. instead of a nurse. She was very straightforward and efficient. The front staff is great too! Highly recommended!

I would give her zero stars if I could. She took over for Dr. Kelly, and every time I saw her for pain/changes in my health, she literally told me Youre just getting older. These things happen. Diet and exercise. It turned out I had two conditions that absolutely needed medical attention, but I suffered longer than I needed to because she ignored my pain. Do not see her.

Absolutely, love Dr. Hoang. She is really great and thoughtful. I have in fact moved a bit far away from her office and still use her because I love her as a doctor.

Efficient, quick, honest, and accurate. I have been going to Dr Hoang for over 8 years and she only does the tests that are needed. Every other doctor I have used treated my visits as money extraction opportunities, not her. Ive had doctor visits that last only 10 minutes with her. Yet even at that pace her diagnosis have always been right. Thats how general practitioner care should be.If want someone to chat with, get a therapist. If want to fix your medical condition and move on, see Dr. Hoang.

Dr Hoang is fantastic. She takes the time to listen to everything you have to say. Then give her recommendations and reasons why. Small chit chat here and there to see how you are doing. Gets right to the point and does not waste your time.

Sorry that Ive to write this review. Im very disappointed in Dr. Teresa L. Hoang located at 2401 Research Blvd Ste 340, Rockville, MD 20850. Ive had good experience in the past but Ill no longer be using her as a provider. I was late for my Dr. appt. by 17mins. It seems as if theyve appointments book for every 15 mins. So if youre late you will simply not be seen as well as charged late fees. Ive paid my share of late fees at this office but I never once complained. Mind you I dont go to the Doctor Office very often. I really needed to be seen by her and her staff simply just said NO!!! I asked if she could talk to me to discuss my symptoms but I was told once again NO!!! Shes to busy. So all is well. Im glad that her business is doing so well that she book for days on out with 15 mins appointments. But me being a patient I was just rubbed the wrong way today. Im sure she will never see this review but hopefully some other potential or future patient will see this and save them the scenario that Im currently in. Im very upset that Ill have to find a new provider because I been a patient of Dr. Teresa L. Hoang for over 5+ years. Mind you that Im a young african-american male. I never felt as if she was bias but today i felt as if I was absolute nothing to her or her staff. They cared less if I went elsewhere. So this is my last comment about this family Doctor practice. Maybe I should just stick with Dr. who appreciate there patients. Very disappointed and upset!!!
