Wanted me to come in every few months to have my blood drawn for absolutely no reason- none of my other doctors felt this was necessary. Seemed ridiculous. I asked for a dermatology referral (family history of skin cancer) and he got on the phone, yelled at me then hung up on me. I immediately changed PCPs and I couldnt be happier to do so.

Dr. Raj is just exhausted... and he should probably do his patients a favor and just retire already. In my experience, he doesnt take his patients seriously and shows a lack of care.The only good thing about this office is the Nurse, shes outstanding and very helpful and knowledgeable.Lack of care: I went in the office with questions regarding chest pressure and aches in my ribcage and he said: I dont have a crystal ball.., which I thought was rude, but I let it go... I asked him if it was my heart and he did an EKG and said I was OK and prescribed me gas medicine. Symptoms did not go away and I seriously doubt it is gas... In general when I go into his office, I honestly feel like he couldnt care less about my health.Dr. Raj is untrustworthy and has poor bedside manor - We wanted to find out if I was a carrier for cystic fibrosis because my wife is pregnant. Dr. Raj filled a lab order in which my wife called the office (prior to going to the lab) and spoke to doctor Raj in which he confirmed it was indeed the correct lab order. After getting blood drawn, etc - the results said something regarding COPD, etc... so we called a genetic consultant and they said it was NOT the correct lab order. We didnt want to challenge our Dr. just yet, so we then called my wifes OBJYN and they confirmed it was the incorrect lab order. So then I called the office and asked to be refunded for the incorrect lab order that Dr. Raj gave me, and he began his response with excuses saying he doesnt do this type of testing every day, etc. and NEVER apologized! I asked to be reimbursed for the mistake he made, he said if you want to argue and go back and forth just call a lawyer. We were extremely polite on the phone and his response was astounding. Aside from the money, imagine receiving a false lab order and then thinking you are in clear water, and then come to find out that you are indeed a carrier... Thank God, my wife second guessed the lab report.Lastly, the office is very disorganized and rude. Even if its just a prescription refill, set aside 1-3 hours for the appointment. Ive been seeing to him for like 4-5 years now and its usually between 1.5 - 2.5 hours.I hope this review helps you make a good decision in choosing a good primary doctor.Good luck,

Our family has been with Dr. Rajvanshi for many years. Dr Raj and now his wonderful Physician’s assistant spend time with you. You are not a name on a chart, but a person. There can be some frustration when he is running behind, but then I remember that I never ever feel rushed when seeing him. He is present for his patients.He and his PA care about you. They explain issues and share options. They are willing to consider different medical options. That said, they are not willing to dole out antibiotics or give unnecessary meds. I have also heard him speak in a straightforward with patients when they haven’t been taking their meds or changing eating habits because he has no magic pill for them. He will tell you when you need to see a specialist. You can try to scapegoat him if you want (see previous) reviewer, but he’ll tell you like it is. I also appreciate that when I walk into his office, I see people from all walks of life. (So those of you who need an upscale posh spa environment might want to look elsewhere.)I stumbled upon him when I was in the hospital and saw his bedside manner. My own doctor at the time was so self-absorbed that he couldn’t check in on me. Dr Raj didn’t know me but he sat by my bedside and held my hand.His office staff is professional. The nurse who draws his blood is one of the loveliest nurses I’ve ever known. I like to kid Dr Raj and tell him he could use more exciting paint colors for office decor — but he’d rather spend time with his patients. And for that, I keep coming back to him.

Dr. Rajvanshi is very knowledgeable of the latest and most practical approaches. He has a gentle bedside manner and genuinely cares about you and your condition. He responds quickly to questions submitted to his office.

One of the best doctors and staff I’ve ever been too. Never a problem scheduling an appointment, never had a long wait. He takes his time with he patiences and answer any concerns.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rajvanshi for 25+ yrs. That goes to say I am very happy with him as my primary care physician. My interaction with him during consultation goes very well as he makes sure that I‘m well informed of what could be the cause of my illness, it’s symptoms, and the treatment options. He is very thorough with his explanations. I am also very glad that the wait time during my visits to his office in the last few years has decreased a lot. The long wait time during consultation visits is true for a majority of doctors. No longer happening at Dr. Rajvanshi’s office because he cares a lot for his patients.

Been Dr. Rajs patient since 2005. I switched from another practice because I did not want to be treated as an insurance number but a human being.Dr. Raj is fantastic, he takes time with every patient to help them through their health issues. Im so grateful for Dr. Raj! He is the best listener, very gentle, and extremely kind. Ive been seeing him for quite a few years before my accident happened in Florida. As soon I was able to move back home to DC, his office was the first one I called to get back on track. He immediately picked up where the Florida doctors left off and gave me all the referrals so I could continue physical rehabilitation and to see all the specialized physicians necessary to recover. His staff are just as welcoming. They always greet me by name and are quick to help with anything I may need. People always ask me why I go all the way to Rockville from DC, but I just tell them, thats where the best doctor is!

Front office staff is courteous and accommodating. Appointment changes or delays are handled without much trouble. Wait times have improved over the past couple of visits.Dr. Rajvanshi, PAs and nurses listen attentively, and give as much time as needed to explain all symptoms and then determine a diagnosis. I dont see that with every doctor especially with practices as busy as this one. I have never felt them rushing through the treatment process.Our family has found success in obtaining treatment with this practice. Thank you for your helpful service!

Excellent doctor! Dr. Raj has an amazing bedside manner. He takes time with each patient as if they were his only. He listens to what you have to say and completely addresses all your concerns. I love him and his staff his warm & courteous. Wait times can be long but hes so worth it. Ive been with him for 17 years now

Dr. Raj is an excellent doctor. I have been going to him for over 12 years. I never had any issues scheduling an appointment, the wait times are rather long, there is no denying that. The staff was nice and Dr. Raj spends a lot of time with me to resolve any issues I was having. I will recommend him, just be aware it is a wait. Bring something to occupy your time.

Dr. Raj is great! Knowledgeable and caring, but wait times can be long.

An abysmal experience. I went in for a simple check up and have had to pay almost $100 for random miscellaneous things not covered by my insurance. Dr. Rajvanshi has not been transparent at all and I HIGHLY recommend you find another primary care doctor who is more ethical and forthcoming with his patients.

Good doctor, nice staff but just terrible terrible wait times and scheduling. I seem to wait an hour and a half on average for 5 minutes of face time with the doctor. not conducive to going on a lunch break or jumping out of the office for a quick visit. They must triple book appointment times

I have learned that there is usually a long wait for Dr. Raj, but I have found it worthwhile. He is a deeply caring and knowledgeable physician, always reviews my history, and spends time listening to my concerns. Perhaps that is the reason he runs behind schedule. He is a rare find in this world of expensive offices and perfunctory service.

I had to wait for more than 2 hours for 5 minutes of facetime. The doctor didnt resolve my problem and didnt even bother to write me a medicine. No notes were prepared from the doctors side. It is one of the bad experiences I have ever had at a doctors place. I wont recommend the doctor.

The wait time is ridiculous. It takes me an hour and a half on average everytime. The doctor unreasonably wants me to be seen everytime. Wants me to come in for check up when i just needed a prescription refill. What a rip off. The worst doctors office i have ever seen. Find someone else

Very disappointed in this office. I tried to make an appointment for a follow up visit after a car accident and was never asked what time, or the date, but instead how I was paying for it. Maybe I am too deep into costumer service through my occupation, but what happened to patient first? Long story short, they would not see me, even though I have full medical insurance. I would be weary of this office.

Literally the worst PCP facility. With wait times > 1hr even if you arrive before your appointment time, they take 2 months to process your bills. On top of that, they charge for physical exam followup visit where all they do is give you your report. Total ripoff. I suggest you find a different place.

Truly outstanding. This doctor solved a health problem that had perplexed three previous physicians.
