I very rarely write reviews, but I really hope that someone from their office reads these so they can know the experience they are providing to some patients and maybe I can save someone else from crying in the parking lot.It took over an hour on the phone to schedule the appointment to begin with. I filled out all paperwork online through the patient portal which was great. However, when I arrived, I was informed that my appointment had been cancelled. I had not cancelled the appointment, and no one from their office contacted me to let me know. Though they claim to have called (I didn’t have any missed calls or messages), they couldn’t tell me who called or when they called regarding the cancellation. At the very least, the front desk staff needs to start leaving notes on actions they take so that these actions can be tracked.When attempting to book a new appointment to resolve their mistake, the person at the front desk didn’t seem to know how to use the computer system. She offered me two different appointments but then stated that those actually weren’t available. She offered a third appointment and then admitted that she would actually have to double check if a new patient could be seen during those time slots. It then dawned on me that I no longer have confidence in this practice to give me appropriate care and told her to cancel the appointment at that point. It doesn’t really give any assurance that your neurologist will be great when their front desk staff can’t even handle booking a new appointment and communicating cancellations to their patients. I was able to call a practice right down the street and get an appointment (only spent 10 mins on the phone) without any trouble.

My experiences with The Neurological Center have been highly positive in every regard. The office staff is friendly and helpful, and the wait time never exceeds 5-10 minutes. Almost all diagnostic testing is available on-site and the results are promptly available. I see Dr. Ezra Cohen and consider him an outstanding practitioner. He is personable, highly knowledgeable, and very thorough in his diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions. More importantly, he treats his patients as partners in their recovery. He is a good listener, encourages questions, and is forthright and clear about diagnoses and treatment options. I give this group a five-star plus rating!

The front staff is good. My previous neurologist retired last year and my new neurologist really listened to my symptoms and concerns. He changed my medications and welcomed me to call him if my symptoms don’t improve. It was a great, professional, helpful experience.

I had a great doctor here, but he retired a few years ago. They pushed me into seeing another Doctor, who I didn’t like. She had NO idea/clue about my brain condition and tried to print off pages from Google about it while in the room with me.Two years later, I’m trying to get in to see a different doctor there that was recommended but they won’t let me switch to him since I saw her first. Plus, two month waiting periods for appointments. Not worth your time. Office staff is useless.

The staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Lin is exceptional. She takes the time to communicate and explain in a personal way. You never feel rushed. She seems to actually care for and about her patients. The practice has the latest technology for diagnosing and treating neurological conditions.You will find a caring enviornment here!

Dr. Cohen, Ms. Holt, and the entire staff have been wonderful throughout my eight years with this practice. Of particular note is when I came for an appointment 2 hours late due to my error. Dr. Cohen saw me anyway and the patient receptionist was so understanding. I wish I had noted her name and I hope I thanked her enough.

I visited Dr. E. Cohen on March 30, 2021 for the first time. He was extremely professional, listened to my concerns, reviewed my medical records, and performed one of the most thorough neurological tests I have ever had. He then ordered additional testing and explained that I should call when the testing was completed (if I had not heard from his first). I felt like more than just a number on a chart and that I had found a doctor who had my best interest at heart - as if I were his mom! I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone needing a neurologist.

Front staff was very professional. I arrived before my scheduled time and they promptly called me back to begin my testing, after some minimal paper work. The tech was kind, in that she understood the discomfort of the part of the test that she administered by apologizing each time I physically reacted (the discomfort was what it was. The test was needed for a proper diagnosis) and by preparing me by counting 1,2,3 before each encounter with the machine, being used. Dr. Cohen was one of the most pleasant doctors that I have ever seen. He administered part two of my emg test, which was not pleasant either. However, with his bedside manners and his conversation with me (we talked about where I was from, whats I did, Covid etc.) I was very distracted from my discomfort. He even made me laugh. He also explained, somewhat, my results. Based on my experience, I would recommend The Neurology Center Rockville.

The entire staff at the neurology center especially Dr Debbie Lin is outstanding and very professional. Dr. Lynn is always patient answers questions clearly and carefully and listens to your concerns never rushing you or showing any distraction.

Our experience was a pleasant one. We had help with a wheelchair and Dr. Was on point with questions etc. I definitely would recommend this office to anyone. Everyone professional and helpful.

I started seeing Dr. Satinsky prior to his retirement and had never encountered the many challenges as of late. The experience itself is taking a nose-dive forget a decline. I now have a new practitioner that I saw recently via a tele-health appointment which went well aside from some minor concerns but upon scheduling a follow-up I inquired about a prescription that can typically be picked up due to it bring a requirement from the phaacy. I was told it was sent in. Now, I knew that this couldnt be the case but ok... I follow up today (a few days later) after learning/confirming that a hardcopy is needed for the product only to be placed on hold in excess of 10 minutes. I disconnected the call and sent a message via the portal. As the end of the day grew near and I received no response I called again and the gentleman answered Neurology Center, can you hold please all in one breathe when I responded no, Ive been holding all day the gentleman responded hold please and placed the call on hold. This is not an attack on the reception or MA staff however, neither time did the person taking the call identify what I needed to possibly triage the call or assist me. I understand all the operations of a MDO from both sides but at no time should I feel as if Im being blown off or disrespected. Maybe the Neurology Center has grown too big for some of us or they need to share some of the resources to boost the morale to mitigate any impact on what should be their FIRST priority and BOTTOM line, the patients.

The doctor and nursing staff are excellent. They understand patient needs and are very professional. I would recommend this center to everyone. They are the Best!!

I had an excellent experience today at the neurology center. Dr. Cohen is exceptional. He has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to his very impressive education and credentials. I highly recommend both him and PA Ashley Holt.

Saw Dr.Cohen this morning. I was pleasantly surprised that although I saw a nurse practitioner in May, Dr. Cohen was on top of all that occurred and was discussed at that appointment and thoroughly went over everything with me again today. I felt his efforts to help me were far and above the ordinary. This has been a long and difficult year for everyone and I’m grateful to be in his care.

I visited The Neurology Center in Rockville, I was received cordially and treated very professionally and courteous. I felt comfortable talking to professionals at the center. Highly recommend if anyone need help.

Rockville site okay. First thing I noticed is that the counters and surfaces are not clean despite there being plexiglass. Staff were pleasant and focused on getting the job done.Would be 4 stars if dirt and stains were not so obvious. Please clean the counters and table tops and chairs. Thanks.

One thing I like about this practice that I havent seen anywhere else is, they text you if theres a cancellation to see if you want that new appt. Also, its easy to fill the paperwork out online so you dont have to fill forms out in the office.

The technician was very gentle and let me know what was going on as she did the test which I really appreciated. I took off one star because she didn’t introduce herself, nor did the second technician who came to help. The dr. did introduce himself which I appreciated. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Dr Cohen explained everything in a manner that was easily understood. He listened, was kind, & very patient. We highly recommend him to other people.

Dr Cohen takes the time to go through my health issue and concern on my first visit. He is really great and I just recommended to one of my friend who is looking for good neurologist. Other staff members are pleasant n waiting time is reasonable. Overall experince was great.

Today I went for two test, which the staff were so helpful and patient. They explained what would occur during each procedure and took their time taking me back to the waiting area.

I was at the Neurology Center today for an EEG test. The technician, Bryson was very friendly and cheerful, which made the whole experience as easy as can be.

I have been a patient for decades The Neurology Center has always demonstrated a staff of professionals with an advanced skill set. The staff is universally concerned fir the well being of its patients as individuals and not collectively. Feel good about your choice to visit. I always do.

Dr. Stephanie Chen Block has been a lifesaver. She is a dedicated diagnostician and goes above and beyond to investigate issues. She was thorough in using assessment tools, and worked with my medical team to get a multidisciplinary set of perspectives on the situation. She is kind, brilliant, mindful, and intentional. I would recommend her to anyone.

Im a long time migraine sufferer. Ive been going to the Neurology center for years now. They have an outstanding staff both medical and administrative! I see a physicians assistant and her name Ashley Holt, who is one of the best! She is very personable, patient and a really good listener. She does not give up when youve tried many options that were unsuccessful. She is super knowledgeable! Because of her my quality of life has greatly improved. My migraines are much less and more controllable/ treatable. I have referred my friends and family to her and they have nothing but great things say. I highly recommend The Neurology Center.

My primary referred me to Dr. Debbie Lin who ordered a battery of tests. I’d never seen a neurologist before and was taken back by how vulnerable and personal the questions asked are when the need to see a neurologist was already embarrassing to me. Dr. Lin’s professionalism and caring demeanor quickly put me at ease. I had a memory test done today by a different doctor in the practice and while I don’t remember her name, my nervousness melted away and I was able to just focus on the test without feeling judged or embarrassed. She too was kind, thoughtful and professional. Anxiety about doctors has kept me from seeing the specialists I need at times. I’d refer a friend or family member in a heartbeat to either of the doctors I saw in this practice. I noticed a good bit of diversity in the team of doctors on staff which impressed me too.

My doctors at the Neurology Center in Rockville are wonderful. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and care about you. They’ve helped me enormously. The office staff are professional and never rude. The offices are clean and the location is great. Making appointments isn’t difficult. I highly recommend them. Dr. Ezra Cohen and his P.A. Ashley Holt are great.

Administrative Staff are competent and courteous and Clinical Staff are highly qualified and conduct themselves so that it is clear they have the patient’s best interests in mind.

Dr Jeffries and Holt are both excellent practitioners. They make themselves readily available for questions and concerns within a reasonable timeframe and being a migraine patient they have helped make changes to make sure I am pain free and have access to the safest medications. Great listeners, 10/10, highest recommendation!

After a month or so of dizziness and brain fog, I (nervously) walking into my neurology consult. The reception/administrative team members were all very welcoming and efficient, and Dr. Block truly impressed me with her knowledge, ideas, and kindness. I expected to feel rushed or uncomfortable, but Dr. Block asked questions and listened to my answers as if I was her only patient. The options and details she provided made me feel very optimistic about the treatment plan, and I would recommend her to anyone experiencing neurological discomfort, especially if you’re scared or sensitive.

I have had one telecommute appointment with Dr. Einbinder. After some issues with my pre-enrollment forms, the appointment went smoothly. He did an excellent job of LISTENING (something many of these doctors dont do very well) and then asked me to take a couple of further tests, each of which makes sense (EEG, MRI). So far the people on the phone have been knowledgeable and professional although you will wait 10 minutes or so as they go through the cue due to the many calls they are receiving.

Staff is polite and helpful. Dr. Yusuf is attentive and truly seems to care about investigating and doing all she can to diagnose and treat you. All of the technicians I’ve had have been nice, explain the procedure, and executed their duties well.

Not a long wait either time I visited the Rockvile office. I was seen by Dr. Ezra Cohen each time and I was more than satisfied.He’s highly knowledgeable, takes his time and seems to genuinely care about you as both a patient and a person.

Seriously bad from the moment of making an appointment. It took the woman at the desk 45 mins to set an appointment for me and I was already an existing patient. Her coworkers around her were extremely loud and disruptive during the call I could barely hear her. I could, however, hear all their conversations about what they are doing over the weekend and where they are shopping online lately. I had to repeat every number and name 3 times, and she didnt know what my (very common and on their website) ailment was. How can you work at a neurology center and have to spend 10 mins asking me to spell out every single letter of an ailment. ALSO, the fact that there is a policy that states if you dont like the first doctor you see you cannot switch for 4 YEARS is absolutely sketchy and unprofessional and just bad practice. I bet they lose a ton of patients from that. They didnt let me switch after a bad experience with my first choice and now I cant return until 2024.

We have used Dr Lin for several years. She is compassionate and understanding. A valuable resource for information and an expert clinician.

The Neurology Center medical and support staff are fantastic. Theyre very patient-oriented and focused on helping us feel our best. They also follow through on billing, authorization, prescription, and insurance issues very promptly.

The staff was kind and helpful. Doctor Block was responsive and supportive. I felt heard and was given excellent care and guidance. I also saw the staff and doctors being kind and connecting with each other and their patients in the waiting room.

Dr. Debbie Lin is very sharp and wise to understand my problem. She explains very detail and prescribe the medication to take care of my symptom. Ive been a patient at the Neurology Center for many years. My neurologist recently retired and so I now have a new doctor in the practice. I recently saw Dr. Block and she was thorough. I highly recommend this practice and the Rockville office, in particular.

I just changed the contact in my iPhone from “The Neurology Center” to “Don’t use The Neurology Center” to remind myself. Dr. David L Taragin was underwhelming. He has a cold, distant personality and rushed through the appointment with cursory nonanswers to my questions. He seems to show little to no interest in patients. I did not like him in the least.Months later, I called to schedule another appointment with The Neurology Center since they had all my information, but with a different neurologist. After waiting on hold for over 10 minutes, the receptionist said it would be very difficult to schedule an appointment with another doctor in the group. She then ignored me while talking to a colleague.I called back the next day and spoke with a different receptionist at The Neurology Center. This receptionist said it would be impossible to schedule an appointment with another doctor in the practice. The receptionist did not state a reason other than saying that it was their policy. I suspect they get this request so often with Dr. Taragin that they implemented this policy. Thus, my only alternative was to go to a different practice. “Don’t use The Neurology Center”.

Upon arrival for my appointment, I felt completely safe in their Rockville office during COVID 19 pandemic. From the front desk to following Dr. Taragin to his examining, I was impressed with the entire experience. All were pleasantly helpful and Dr. Taragin was thorough, and genuinely interested in helping me.

I recently had a comprehensive tele-health conversation with Dr. Cohen. I felt like we were in the same comfortable room together. There was no rush to finish, I felt I was clearly listened to, and the efficiency of not having to drive through unpredictable traffic was a great stress-free benefit.

Very friendly office and knowledgeable staff. From the moment I went in until the time I left I was very happy with my experience. I didn’t have to wait long as Dr. Lin was on time. I do recommend filling out your paperwork online before you go, however, as this will save you some time in the office. Dr. C Debbie Lynn was excellent, attentive, didn’t rush me through the process, and didn’t make me feel like I was asking too many questions. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Linn is fabulous. She is and nice and will explain well her plan for you. Only downside to neurology center is can be tough getting an appointment here. Otherwise she’s great!

From my first call with receptionist/nurse it was a great experience., they understood everything I was telling them, walked me through the portal and forms and then through setting up a televisit with the Doctor. I had Dr. Yusuf who was awesome. She explained everything about my condition, the meds and treatment and did a thorough review of my history. Felt better just from the visit and knowing more about my issue. Would highly recommend!

Very professional medical office. They asked me to fill out new patient forms online prior to my appointment, it was nice to do when convenient for me instead of by hand in the office. Theuly provided me text reminders. They keep your scheduled appointment time. Dr. Lin was engaging, compassionate, and professional, she outlined a plan for me that made me feel confident we will come up with a cause and treatment for my symptoms. The only drawback is very tight parking, but the valet helps a lot, use it!

Everyone who I came into contact with were very professional . There set up for protecting people from this virus was commendable . I had Two procedures each an hour long . The staff was so very accommodating.

Today was my first visit. I saw Dr. Lin I went there because my primary Dr and I were not happy with my existing Neurologist. Dr Lin was very upbeat and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable and she listened to me without trying to get me out the door. She agreed with some of the medications I am taking and added a new one. She explained everything and took her time. I was very impressed with this visit and have a follow up appointment in several weeks

Dr. Lin is a phenom. She is compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and has successfully treated my Father-in-law, and me. She essentially provided me with a diagnosis and treatment plan that saved my life. Now shes treating my mother in law.She talks fast, so listen close, you want to hear what she says.The office staff is great!

Dr. Lin and PA Ashley Holt are very attentive, thorough and accessible. My visits to date have been top notch. They really listen to what my issues are and show care and concern. They also take time to explain the issues I am having the path forward.

I would like to see the doctors run on time rather than 15-30 minutes late. My time is as valuable as theirs.I am not talking at all about the doctor’s ability to diagnose but rather to keep on their schedule.I gave 3 stars concerning keeping on time and 5 stars for the doctors

Very friendly staff and Dr. Stephanie Chen Block is amazing: knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, thoughtful and responsive. Great patient portal system that allows to track things and communicate via email with short response time. It’s better to never need a neurologist, of course, but if you do, it cannot get much better than this.

Dr.Galdi has been my neurologist for over 10 years. He is kind, attentive, thorough, and quite frankly, the best specialist I have. He has helped my migraines and chronic daily headaches tremendously.As well, the office staff is friendly and helpful.Annabelle is amazing. She’s hardworking and cheerful. She is a great asset to this practice.

Dr. Fortune is the most amazing neurologist ever! She is a great listener and really spends time trying to understand MY migraines. She also offers solutions and options to help control or mitigate my episodes that are not strictly drug based. She really treats the whole me. She is amazing to work with.

My daughter seen doctor Fortune today. She took the time to discuss all the problems my my daughter has. Dr. Fortune is very friendly & caring. She explained the situation and came of with a great plan how to tackle the issue without putting my daughter under any pressure. I recommend her!

I have known Dr. Galdi for over 20 yrs. Outstanding care and service. Today I met his new assistant Ashley Holt. Same level of care. Giving information and most importantly listening to me and understanding what to do to do to help. Happy to have them both as my caregivers.

My neurologist at the Rockville location is great. His PA is also great. They treat you like an equal and don’t talk down to you. They appear to care about your health and well-being, and they have helped me to get better!

I had a very poor experience with this office. In the beginning it was great. Dr. Lin could tell from the get go I probably had a specific rare disease and pushed along getting the tests done to diagnose it as quickly as possible because I was in pretty severe constant pain in my head. After my diagnosis of the disease, however, her methods of treatment werent working and I continued to be in pain. I was basically, then, passed off to a P.A. who then, on her own, diagnosed me with tension headaches despite my protests that that was not the case, and would hand me prescription after prescription for muscle relaxers which left me just dopey. I called them often over the course of several weeks because I was in so much pain. (I did not have tension headaches and muscle relaxers were not the correct treatment for me.) I finally sought out a neurologist who specializes in my disease and am very well taken care of now, pain free.Personally, if you have anything complicated going on, I do not recommend this office, or the P.A., Holt. You deserve, as a patient, to be listened to, and your concerns and voice heard and addressed. They can be a matter of life and death sometimes. You deserve better treatment then what I received there.

Dr Fortune was amazing. This was my first time seeing a nurologists so I was a little nervous but she was great. I waiting for a little while in the waiting room but once I sat down with her I understood why. She is incredibly through and asked a ton of questions to make sure she had all info she needed. Ive never had a doctor sit down with me as long as she did. Most will ask you a few basic questions and shoo you out the door. You could tell she truly cared and Id recommend anyone to visit this woman (:

First time coming to The Neurology Center and from check-in, sitting and talking with the doctor, to check-out was a pleasant experience.
