I went to see Dr. Jafari to get treatment on a tooth that was causing me immense pain. Dr. Jafari was very attentive to my concerns and made me feel at ease. At every step, he explained what he was going to do; this helped me relax as I knew what to expect. The staff is great as well, and Dr. Jafari has state of the art diagnostic equipment. The most impressive aspect of the root canal procedure that Dr. Jafari performed is that I was in absolutely no pain after the procedure. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend Dr. Jafaris services for anybody seeking endodontic treatment.

I was referred to Dr. Jafari with tooth pain and expected a root canal to result. I immediately felt at ease from the moment I entered his office. He informed me that he would not do any procedures until he could definitively identify the problem. He took x-rays and CT scans and eventually determined that I had two teeth with different issues. He then preformed root canals on the two. After the procedures, he followed up to make sure everything was OK.Adjectives I would use to describe Dr. Jafari would be: professional, thorough, and caring. I would highly recommend him to anyone requiring endondontic diagnostics and treatment.

Dr Jafari was top notch. He was able to schedule me in very quickly (procedure next morning). His staff were kind and courteous, and everyone was professional. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and was able to complete my operation in one visit, hassle-free. He explained all the details of the operation and he made sure to follow up later that day to make sure I was doing well.

Dr. Jafari is an outstanding endodontist. I was referred by my dentist and I do not regret a bit. I called and got an quick appointment to do a diagnostic due to the urgency. I visited his office for the first time for one tooth and I ended up having after 3 very complex root canals and the result was perfect! Not only Dr. Jafari is an expert in his field, but he takes the time to explain the problem and how is going to solve the problem in a easier way. He is professional and friendly. Dr. Jafari turned what had been an awful experience to a pleasant one with excellent results. I had been hesitant to have my tooth attended to because of COVID, but finally made an appointment with Dr. Jafari. I had some other problems that made me very stressful about getting that root canal. Dr Jafari was gentle and reassuring and made me at ease while he did his magic. I had to have an emergency root canal on a Friday morning. My dentist recommended Dr. Jafari and I called his office. They were able to fit me in that morning and I came right over. I appreciated the attention to details Dr. Jafari took since it turned out that I had deferred pain from one tooth that was actually coming from another tooth. Dr. Jafari spent a lot of time isolating the problem and pin-pointing which tooth was the culprit before drilling. Once done, the procedure was quick and painless and professional. He gave extra attention after the root canal to securing the crack in the tooth that was the cause for the procedure--until my regular dentist could see me to schedule a crown.

Dr. Jafari and his staff are terrific. Doc spent time the night before on the phone to determine an emergency visit was needed. Got me in literally the next morning for an emergency root canal. No pain, incredible sensitivity to my anxiety and discomfort. Extensive diagnostic testing to determine the root canal was needed. Literally no pain. I didnt even need pain relievers after the fact and the involved tooth was a large molar. I cannot begin to tell you the relief! I highly recommend Dr. Jafari and North Bethesda Endodontics.

Top notch Dr. top notch office. The most impressive Covid-19 care I have experienced in any dental office. All forms are done paperless and you go right into treatment room when you arrive. Mask on at all times and he flips it up to examine your mouth and flips it back down in between. Extremely impressed by the technology. He did not need to take an xray every five seconds during treatment and he uses a high tech microscope. I really appreciated the fact that when he thought there may be another hidden canal based on the shape of the root he didn’t just finish the treatment anyway when he was unable to locate. He opted to do a cat scan in his office so that he can be 100% sure. Staff are efficient and wonderful, the office is beautiful with a great view from your chair and extremely clean and sanitary. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Dr. Jafari to anyone. His kind and calm demeanor put me at ease right away even though I was in pain and had to have 2 emergency root canals. Upon meeting and talking to Dr. Jafari about my situation I felt very confident that I was in good hands. He is extremely knowledgeable and so caring. His office is very clean and pleasant with soothing music playing and all of the right covid protocols in place. I felt very safe and comfortable the whole time. Root Canal Expert! I highly recommend Dr. Jafari!!I was in the process of getting a crown with my general Dentist, and had to pause the process due to sensitivity and pain i felt in my tooth. This indicated that a root canal may be needed, or tooth extraction.My general Dentist noted the complexity and depth of my tooth roots, therefore a root canal specialist was required.My general Dentist referred me to Dr. Jafari, who did a spectacular job with the root canal.He performed the procedure with extreme care, and precision. He is very efficient, and made sure i was very comfortable throughout the procedure.Two days after the procedure, i felt ZERO pain and sensitivity! The procedure was a success, and i am now in the process of finishing my crown.I hope i never need to get another root canal, but if i do....i know where to go!

No one likes having dental work done but I have to say this has been one of the best experiences I could have hoped for. Dr. Jafari made sure I was extremely well informed, comfortable (before, during and after the procedures) and was truly invested in my best interest. Great bedside manner, very open and caring and I truly felt like I was his patient and not just another appointment on his schedule. Staff was great as well. Dr Jafari is hands down one of the best, if not THE best, dentist and/or endodontist I’ve ever worked with. His work is precise and thorough, but he also did a great job at easing any anxiety that I had before/during the root canal. Super funny, warm, and explained everything. I hope I don’t ever need a root canal again but if I do, I know where I’m going! The office was also extremely clean and they have done a great job with COVID safety procedures. Zero wait time either.

As a dental phobic I was stressed to have a root canal but it was so easy! Zero pain or discomfort! I didnt even need a tylenol. Dr. Jafari has a wonderful way of easing anxiety and making you feel comfortable. Great staff and super vigilant about Covid safety.

My first time meeting Dr. Jafari was in 2013. I was in a lot of pain and had to get a root canal. He was very professional and made me as comfortable as he could. He has a great sense of humor and was able to make me laugh despite my pain. After my root canal, Dr. Jafari made sure to follow up on how I was feeling and I have not had any trouble with that tooth since the procedure. Now fast forward to November 6, 2020, I had to return to Dr. Jafari for pain in another tooth in which I got another root canal. As always, Dr. Jafaris personality shines through. He is very personable and really cares for his patients. After the procedure, he called later that day and again the following week to make sure I was okay. My pain went away immediately after the root canal just like before. Dr. Jafari goes above and beyond to ensure his patients have the best of care. If you want to get a root canal done right, go to Dr. Jafari. I promise you that you will never have issues with that tooth again.

I was able to get seen for a last minute root canal and was very thankful to get my procedure done well and out of pain.I woke up the next day with zero pain and little soreness. I am not the best dental patient - I own that. I went for a routine cleaning and it was discovered I had a huge cavity under a 20 year old crown. I needed a root canal ASAP. My dentist (Dr. Babak Noohi A+) referred me to Dr. Jafari. They coordinated my procedures and care and within hours I was in Dr. Jafaris chair. Its a little ways from Capitol Hill, but I took Uber there and metro (Whiteflint station) home.Dr. Jafari and his staff are great. I was highly anxious, but the pill Dr. Noohi prescribed helped. Dr. Jafari explained exactly what he was going to do. He went over covid protocols, etc. Before I knew it I was gathering my coat and on my way home. Dr. Jafari reached out to me that evening to see how I was doing and again the next day to also tell me how the procedure went when I was a little more clear headed. I had heard horror stories of root canals - to be honest there was no discomfort at all. Dr. Jafari and his assistant have great chairside calming presence and communicated the entire time exactly what they were doing and how I was doing. Many thanks. I hope not to need his services again, but if I should need another root canal I know where to go.

Dr Jafari was more than kind and sympathetic to my situation. I thought I needed a root canal but he did some tests and found that the tooth was dead and cracked. He and his staff took the time to phone an oral surgeon who was able to get me in the same day. A pleasure to deal with, including his staff. Atmosphere of office was clean and welcoming. And they even validated for parking! I hope I never need a root canal, but if I do, I will come to Dr. Jafari.

Dr. Jafari is absolutely the best Endodontist in the metro DC area! There is no question about it! My 12 year old daughter went through a terrible fall that left her with 3 cracked teeth. We went to 3 different dentists who immediately wanted to do root canals on all her cracked teeth. As you can imagine, performing 3 root canals on a 12 year old is traumatizing!! Especially when those same dentists suggested to do them on the same day! Dr. Jafari was thorough and efficient. He analyzed the situation and did pulp testing before jumping to conclusions. We ended up with just 1 root canal! My daughter was extremely afraid of dentists, but he has excellent bedside manners and a calm, warm personality. He talked her through the entire procedure and made her feel comfortable. While we were at the office, we overheard his other patients raving about the work he just performed on them! He has quite the patient satisfaction! And he has achieved the Washingtonian Best Dentist Award for 2017! Above all, the root canal was painless. It was done so well that my daughter had ZERO pain afterwards. The quality of his work is unmatchable. If you ever find yourself in the position of needing a root canal, I strongly suggest going to the best. These procedures are irreversible and can be rather painful.
