Ive been going to Modern Smiles for a few years and I absolutely love the staff and Dr. Forghani. The office is always clean, little to no wait for my scheduled appointments, and my cleanings and fillings have been flawless. I look forward to continuing my care with Modern Smiles.

Went for a checkup and Modern Smiles performed a very thorough cleaning. Met Dr. Forghani very briefly and he told me Id have to schedule two separate appointments for cavity fillings on my left and right side. I hadnt heard this before, and I actually called about half a dozen dentists asking if two appointments was standards for cavities on both sides, to which all replied no. I was switching insurance, so I decided to not return to Modern Smiles. When I called to transfer my medical records, the staff was very unprofessional and curt. While I am not a dentist myself and there may be more to it, it seems to me like this place is looking to profit at the expense of their patients time and lack of dentistry knowledge...

Dr. Forghani worked on two teeth one of which became infected and required a root canal. The orthodontist (who preformed the root canal) discovered that the tooth requiring the root canal still had decay. The orthodontist cleaned out the decay and performed the root canal. Sadly the infection continued spreading to my face and jaw. Finally I told the endodontist I could not take the pain and wanted the tooth pulled. I ended up with an intestinal infection, Clostrdium difficile, caused being on three different antibiotics. This infection is fatal in one out of six patients. I am still not well. If the tooth had been properly treated in the beginning this would never have happened.

Had a great experience with my cleaning. Had my invisalign done here and also had my teeth whitened. Everything was smooth from beginning to end. I highly recommend Modern Smiles.

I have been a patient of Dr Forghani for 3 years . The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Dr Forghani and the hygienist have done a great job keeping my teeth healthy and they have explained everything thoroughly along the way. I have referred some family and friends and they are all pleased with this practice. I definitely recommend Modern Smiles!

I and my daughter visited this office. We all had fluoride. It was $30. Later, I checked my insurance, fluoride is free for kid under 18. I contacted the office in a timely manner via email. But, they did not respond to my question. It happens to have a wrong bill. But, they did not correct the mistake. I am so disappointment. The staffs are friendly. But, they try to charge more money.

The best dentistry in town! I went to two dentist before that and they came up with an extensive dental plan that was not necessary. Dr. Forghani and his staff were super patient, they explained their process thoroughly and honestly Dr. Forghani was so delicate, I didnt feel a thing. Dr. Forghani is the BEST! I had 2 infected teeth that my previous dentist did not want to help with. Instead he referred me to a specialist who didnt even take my insurance. I decided to do my research, and based on the reviews I decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Forghani. I was able to get my teeth removed the next day!!! Dr. Forghani is one of those Doctors who genuinely care and it shows!! He took his time during the procedure and you can see the quality in his work. So grateful!!! Nadia, Gianna, Karen everybody here are all amazing too!! They really do treat you like family here. My gums and teeth say thank you too!!

The doctor is very nice buy the service is not.The doctor referred me to periodontist and this office was supposed to send all my Xray to the periodontist which never happened.i have requested the Xray to be sent to my email and they refused.so far never received any treatment feedback from the periodontist visit because modern smile did not send the Xray. Till this day I never received any service from either doctors office, not from modern Smile and not from the periodontist Dr Tom Stanton Rockville MD

I was trying to contact them to make an appointment, its so hard, I called multiple times on different dates during their work hours, never got answered. I did the new patient sign up form through their website, it has been over two weeks, no reply yet either. Ill will definitely change to another provider that can make new registration and appointment easier.

Dr. Forghani and the whole team at Modern Smiles are amazing! They are fast, friendly, and my favorite dentist. They know each of their patients individually and check in on whats going on in your life. Also it doesnt hurt getting to stream my favorite show/movie during my cleaning.

I brought my son for his first dental check up. The staff was friendly, the location is accessable, and its very clean. The doctor was friendly and answered all my questions and did great with my three year old!

The team at Modern Smiles is incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. I had a small dental emergency and they were able to see me on a Saturday as a new patient. I was quite thankful just to be seen, but was thrilled with the clean facility, quality of care, and having no wait time (even with being scheduled at the last minute). I have chosen to make Dr. Forghani my primary provider after my great experience.

By far the best experience I have had a dentist office. I was recommended invisalign and I couldnt be happier. A few more months and I will have straight teeth which I never knew was possible for me.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. forghani, his staff and office!!! They are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, the office itself is modern and updated and The dental hygienists are gentle with my 6 month Cleanings! The location is also very convenient and has lots of parking! My 3 year old daughter had her first appointment here and loves everything about cleaning her teeth now- that says appt, I believe!

I have been looking for a good dentist for years now. I dont know why but most dentists are too busy for you, and when they see you, they want to extract as much money as they can out of you. When they do see you, they seem to be in a huge rush. Your teeth are incredibly important, keeping them healthy is about as important as it gets, and not being able to find a good dentist for years was a huge worry. A worry finally ended by Modern Smiles. They answered all my questions patiently and in a matter of 2 short months, my teeth are back to being healthy again. I never had an appointment cancelled on me, I was never kept waiting. Also their SMS/Email appointment reminders are very convenient.

Dr. Forghani is the most caring and gentlest dentist we have had. My family, wife and two boys all visit him. Visiting a dentist is never easy, especially with kids (6 and 2), but my oldest has been visiting him with no problems since he was born. He makes you feel at ease with every visit. My wife had previous anxieties with other dentists, but with Dr. Forghani’s patience and personality, its like a family member taking care of you. If you have kids or afraid to go to a dentist, go to Modern Smiles.

I attended Modern Smiles in Rockville on May 8, 2018. I was impressed by its equipment and very polite employees. I ordered a partial denture for low teeth, which as promised , would be ready in 2-3 weeks. The denture that I received on May 29 looked strange: its left part teeth were lower than its right side. When Dr. Forghani put it, I felt pain. He assured me that I need time to accustom. However, I was not only unable to accustom. I waked up at night with a huge pain and could not sleep. In the morning I ran to Dr. Forghani but the office was closed on Wednesday. Next day Dr. Forghani made new dental impressions (did it himself) and ordered a new denture that came in July . But it was bad again. Its lower teeth dont fit the corresponding upper teeth so that it was impossible to grind food, etc. I ask my daughter to make pictures demonstrating that, which I sent to Dr. Forghani with an explanation (as a prof. of mechanical engr. , I explained its unfitness) . It was impossible to deny the obvious and Dr. Forghani said that this was a fault of CA technicians. He asked his assistant to use a mold to make a dental impression again (4th time). This lady was unable to pull the mold from my mouth and started moving it to sides. As a result, she broke my upper 5 teeth bridge, which costs significantly more than the denture. I was one more month without teeth and used only oats meal and other light food. The 3d variant of denture came on August13 -three month later. Now it fits the upper teeth . But what kind of a doctor I dealt with who is unable to do the job in 2-3 weeks? Moreover, he saw that the first variant was bad but lied that all would be fine. The same was with the 2 variant. Again lie. Moreover, I was billed additionally for lab work $100 (there was no lab work) and $40 as the co-payment (I found out that for my plan its $0). This is a fraud. In addition, Dr. Forghani , who calmed me down when my bridge was broken and promised to elaborate, refused to delete the broken 2 teeth (I asked him during 4 visits and he responded be patient. Now he decided to make money from the accident of July 13 and asked me to pay about $10,000 to make a new bridge on implants and add 4 more teeth.A honest cultured person would never deal with such a doctor.Such Modern Smiles should be closed.This is a modern dishonesty and incompetence.All this cost me money I should spend time to recover.
