I hasn’t got my hair cut in close to a year because every time I do I ended having to deal with a bad hair cut..given I was still a little hesitant going to Maria for an hair cut but I still did and surely enough I ended with a bad hair cut again..when I ask if she could fix it I was told that I need to seek medical attention for my scalp before she can help me.. now I understand that every small business has a right to refuse service to anyone they wish, I just wish you would refuse service before charging me..

Hello everyone! I have very curly hair which makes me always very scared to have someone cut it and even more dye it. Maria listened to all of my concerns and explained to me what she was going to do thoroughly. She was very kind and communicative when she was cutting my hair and during the coloring process. I will be going back soon for sure!

Whoa, another 5 Star revue on S Wells! Propriotor Maria has been cutting my & styling a friends for like 7 years.Usually, I can pick up an appointment either the same day I call or the next..In my case, a full haircut is delivered by Maria in about 12 minutes! Every couple months I definitely spare a half hour for the $15 a cut she charges By the way Maria is a very nice woman who will go out of her way to fulfill your wishes ,& is smart & fun to chat with.So, men if you want a quick, consistent haircut, like I do...stop in La Familia Beauty directly across from the CHA (HAWC) Health Center.🌹

Been getting my chops at La Familia for the past almost 6 years!Since, Im currently in Michigan I will simply say, Mens $15-20 on average, Women youll have to give .. make an appt!Right across from the CHA Clinic, formerly HAWC on Wells Ave Nice little shop with a welcoming feel.🌹
