So Im writing this review ONLY for the wonderful ladies who assisted me last Friday. My son has been going to Land Orthodontics for almost 2 years now. My daughter also has braces on but she goes to Gladwell Orthodontics so I have first hand experience with braces from 2 different doctors. Land Orthodontics has been AWFUL the last 2 years and has only gotten worse. I dont feel they care about my sons teeth nor the treatment plan. I dont ever get updates on his progress, and Ive had random things charged to my account without ever being notified. I went into the Banford Way office last Friday furious and ready to chew someones head off about billing issues. The office was closed to patients but Patricia Hunter opened the door for me to figure this out. I was very upset and not happy but after talking with Patricia, and also Victoria and Chanda were at the front desk while I was discussing this with Patricia, they helped brighten the mood for me and I walked out feeling SO much better. Patricia went above and beyond to make sure she listened to my concerns and fix my problem. I cant wait for my son to have his braces taken of so I never have to worry about Land Orthodontics again but Patricia, Victoria, and Chanda deserved to be recognized for their wonderful customer service and friendly smiles when patients walk in the door. Thank you ladies for everything! *I do not recommend Land Orthodontist*

Highly Recommend! The entire process was seamless!

This place has cause my family a headache for almost 4 years, so apparently dr land business and name was purchased from a foreign looking lady who you can tell isn’t from America. They tried to say them using a new system will cause older patients contracts to just disappear and wanted us to repay the full amount for bottom braces when before she was even there, was getting payments already and showed them documents of the withdrawals in my account. They may try and flag this down but we’ve have been treated terrible and will be contacting legal experts to examine the breach in the contract. i wish i could give 0 stars and the new owner using calling police as a scare tactic to get any unsatisfied customers. Not even accredited with the better business bureau with no reviews! Shame on them!

This review is LONG over due. My parents brought me to Dr. Land because he was doing my brothers braces. Zaytoun ortho did the rest of my families braces. Dr. land took a look for a few seconds and then bashed the person who did my braces. Saying they did them incorrectly and it was bad. A year or so later (I was a college student) I needed to get a new retainer made. My retainer was over 10 years old. I figured I would ask Dr. Land to make me one instead of going back to Zaytoun. I drove 45 min out to the Raleigh location because Angier was booked up. I went in his office and he didn’t even look at me for 2 seconds and he told me I needed Invisalign. He made a big fuss about it & refused to make me a a new retainer. Said the person who originally did my braces would have too… sent me off with a lady to get me prices on Invisalign. I told the lady I was still in college and couldn’t afford it.. I just really needed a new retainer made. Left so upset & mistreated. My freakin dentist made me a retainer! And now I’m getting Invisalign and I will NOT be getting it done by Dr. Land. Still can’t believe I let this man treat me this way. Going back I wish I would of stuck up for myself & said something. He was trying to take advantage & mislead a young girl because he wanted money. Don’t waste your time here!

Its a family affair, braces for the whole family with no complaints. The staff is always professional. The office is modern and clean. Prices are reasonable even when paying out of pocket.

Land Orthodontics has the friendliest staff. They welcome you and treat you like family. My son has been a patient there for over two years and we look forward to going to every appointment. I can’t say enough about them. They truly are remarkable.

I used dr land and his amazing staff for my braces and I have to say the results were amazing! I always got treated very well each visit and got nothing but excellent treatment! Dr land the receptionist and all the assistants were AWESOME! Especially Theresa! I recommend everyone using them for braces!

Dr Land was awesome. Staff is courteous. My 4 year old came along and he is so hyper and loud sometimes. The staff was not annoyed. My 10 year old daughter will be getting braces soon. Shes excited about it so Im happy. Thanks Dr Land and staff for making us feel comfortable and welcome. Cant wait to begin this process and long journey.

Dr. Land and Mrs. Land were so warm, jolly, and welcoming. Dr. Land spent time getting to know my son a bit and allowed him to feel much more at ease about getting braces. If we have to go through this process, I am happy to have such a knowledgeable, professional and kind doctor. I highly recommend him!

Meeting Dr Land and Tina has given me a comforting feeling about the plan outlined for my dental care. My husband and I was so impressed with the sincere friendliness and the time taken to concentrate on my dental diagnosis & future care. My anxiety about having a tooth pulled and getting braces at 74 years old to correct the area subsided quickly with the experience & knowledge very evident in the staff. My highest recommendation for this practice & I look foward to my visits.

I brought my son and daughter at the same time. The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. Dr. Land was great as well. He made my children feel comfortable and asked them genuine questions. He even went into what to expect from my childrens Insurance, and their process. I left feeling very good about choosing Land Orthodontist.

Since Dr. Land retired the practice has gone downhill. Numerous times my daughters bands were put on incorrectly and they caused more issues. I was hung up on by the front receptionist. This would have never happened had Crystal still been there. Im taking my son to a different orthodontist and have them look at my daughters teeth.

They are amazing and will attend you right away.

Dr. Land is a wonderful, caring professional that treats patients young and old. Whether you visit him in his Wakefield office or his Strickland Rd office, he is always happy to see you and treats you like a friend. He helped me get my teeth straight again quickly and painlessly. I would recommend visiting him & his wonderful staff to see for yourself!

The only place in Raleigh that would take me on for Invisalign - it took just over 2 years because my teeth were very wonky. I am so happy with the results. Dr. Land has always been so lovely, all the staff are incredibly welcoming and remember me! I heartily recommend.

I was referred to Dr. Land for TMJ problems. He has a great personality and makes you feel like youre visiting a friend. He was extremely thorough in getting my dental history and provided home remedies to alleviate/minimize the pain. I was never rushed and all treatments were clearly explained. i would recommend him in a heartbeat.

My two daughters are going to Dr.Land and I must say that Dr.Land and his staff treat you like family every time we have an appointment. He does exellent work and his staff is amazing! One daughter has recently gotten her braces removed and her teeth are gorgeous:-) She is smiling a lot more which makes a parent proud seeing such an improvement in her self esteem in which she was lacking before! Kind, honest, caring .... there are no words to explain what a wonderful orthodontist Dr. Land and his office staff are. I have two children that have gone through his office. One that has had to have several extensive mouth surgeries during his treatment.We highly recommend Dr. Land!!

Dr. Land and his staff make you feel at ease and comfortable during your visit. I really liked the atmosphere and the professionalism from each staff member I encountered. They really know how to treat their patients.

I came back today after almost a year & a half, and saw new faces. I was happy to see Dr Land expanding in staff and having different people. I arrived early to my appointment and didn’t go back until 40 minutes after. I wouldn’t have known the cause had the check in lady not apologized and explained the situation. However the lady next to her, in Jody’s usual seat, said “it’s okay she can wait”. Showing lack of patient understanding and care. I was appalled at how rude and offensive the comment felt; I also overheard a phone conversation she was having with a patient and saw her annoyed countenances along with her aggressive tone.... Upon check out with the same lady, she was the same way with me. If Dr Land and most of his staff was just as terrible I probably would go elsewhere. I’m disappointed in the turn out of my first time back in a long time; I know it’s busier and time is limited but don’t forget how valuable it is for all of us and that patient care goes a long way.

Love this place! Dr.Land and his staff is the most amazing group of individuals Ive ever encountered. Since day one my experiences has been nothing but fantastic. Very, loving, caring, professional and knowledgeable team. No one in the Raleigh-Durham area beats the services that Land Orthodontist provides. 😁

Not only is Dr. Land a superb orthodontist, hes an even better person with the biggest heart of gold! He has a smile that lights up a room, and he can give you one too (wink wink). HIGHLY recommended from someone who is extremely particular about her teeth.

We were referred here by a retired dentist in town. my children are very young. the staff was amazing. Dr. Land so so patient and thorough. Since my children are so young, he recommended waiting a few years, there were no concerns that some doctors and others have had with my childrens baby, almost all baby, teeth. wonderful practice. not about getting my money, about my kids needs at this time. Check them out. we sure will be returning!

If I could give it no stars I would. We walked into the place and Dr. Land sat me down on a chair. He took a 2 second look at my mouth and gave me a bewildered and flabbergasted look and started launching into how confused and lost he was. He started bashing my old orthodontist and saying how awful their practice was, when they were the absolute best orthodontist in the city. They were amazing, and I loved them. He said, Im so confused! Im so lost! I dont treat like this! Your teeth are still crooked! Keep in mind that my teeth are straight. I have had my first phase of braces. He then said, your teeth are so crooked! I would expect them to be absolutely perfect! You have a large overbite! I dont know how to do dentistry like this! Im speechless! Whats going on? Im so confused! And he kept repeating himself. This went on for about ten minutes. My mom then said, youre making my daughter very uncomfortable. And he was like sorry bout that. And he continued to talk about how crooked my teeth were!! It was like he had never seen imperfect teeth before. He was so shocked. He made me feel very abnormal and weird. He then told me he couldnt accept me as a patient, which is so strange because my teeth are completely treatable and easy to fix. My mother and I were speechless. Absolutely speechless. That was absolutely the worst and strangest experience I have ever had with an orthodontist, or any doctor at all for that matter. He made me and my mother extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend land ortho. At all. So crazy.

I took my daughter here for a consult. Staff was nice and helpful and Dr Land made us feel very comfortable. He advised me my daughters teeth can be treated. We go back next month. I cant wait to start the process of my daughter getting her braces. **update** 1.29.19 Daughter has top and bottom braces and teeth are looking great. I can see the shift of her teeth are turning out perfect. The gaps from the 4 permanent teeth being extracted due to crowding are almost closed. Shes going to get the rubberbands the next appt to fix the overbite.

Dr. Land cares about his patients hearts as much as their smiles! We love his sweet personality. The whole office knows teenager-speak which makes my job a lot easier! I highly recommend Dr. Land and his staff.

Im very up set today I had a appointment today and my sons bus came a little late today so he got home at 2:50 and the appointment is at 3:20so when he got home he ate brushed his teeth and got ready and we left on our way there we noticed some traffic building and and the place is 20 minutes away from where I Iive so we decided to call and let them know well be getting there in about 20 minutes and I told the reseptionisnt the reason and I told her about my sons bus arriving late and about how everybody is preparing for the hurricane so it makes even more traffic and she responded with we cant attend you no more your gonna have to reschedule because your more than 5 minutes late and I said but Im on my way right now and she said we cannot attend you so obviously I started to get mad because I was half way there and she tells me they cant attend me no moreI feel like they need to change that policyI didnt feel like that policy was okayI had an excuse for coming lateand they still couldnt attend my son.that need to change. Thank you.

Excellent service!

Took my granddaughter to get her braces removed. Was told there was outstanding balance of $1100 and they could not take braces off. Called my daughter in law and she got on phone with them. After a tense conversation staff realized the balance was paid months earlier. Ridiculous how they could not print out any receipts Their system was awful. As I was waiting another lady came in and had same problem. No way to run a business.
