I have called or emailed almost every psychiatrist in the triangle area (all in the last week!) I reached out to Susan OConnor via Psychology Today and she promptly responded with an encrypted message. She answered my questions about care and insurance and provided me with the email address of their office staff, Dawn. Dawn is INCREDIBLE! I emailed with several very specific questions mostly about insurance. She answered all of my questions, clarified even the smallest details and never made it seem like I was asking too much. Moreover, she responded professionally and very promptly. And she even went over the schedule with me. I am seeing someone in a few weeks! Many of the other doctors offices were unwilling to answer my insurance questions before I committed to seeing them. I know many mental health professionals are incredibly busy, but it can be cost prohibitive to seek medication management without insurance. This process was an incredibly taxing and administratively difficult one. Dawn and Susan were receptive, responsive and responsible!I have not seen anyone yet so cannot speak to their billing practices. I can only hope they have learned or are more transparent about their policies. But I am just thrilled to have found an office that is in-network. FYI i have BCBS Home Health Silver (UNC Alliance).

I see Carrie Pettit at Psychiatric Associates and it has been a wonderful experience. She takes the time to really listen to my concerns and works with me regarding my anxiety about taking medication. In a few situations Ive had to call the after hours line and have been called back quickly with sound advice and assistance. I am very impressed with this office and their level of care.

Dr. Payne is very empathetic to me and has been working with me for almost a year now. She promptly answers all of my questions and is always willing to help me out if I can’t make payments on time but need to see her. She’s a great MD.

This place is great. I was really nervous to meet with Dr. Maria Agiato. I had never seen this type of doctor before... It took all of about 5 seconds for those nerves to go away. She is so down to earth that is makes talking with her a breeze. Often times, we find our selves in a room with a doctor who isnt hearing what were saying. They tell you how you feel. They tell you what you should feel. That is NOT the case with Dr. Agiato. She takes the time to hear your side. She takes the time to learn your language and communicate in a manner that is productive for both of you. I love this place. If youre looking for a great doctor to work with, this is the place to go. Im sure the other physicians are just as awesome!

Ive been seeing Dr. Grigg for quite a while and am very happy that Im one of his patients. Hes professional, compassionate, and patient. He has a great sense of humor. Ive learned a lot and have become a much happier, more stable, and confident person because of his help. Life is more enjoyable. When I remember the person I was and see who I am now, Im grateful I came here.

Terrible customer service. Doctors arent much better. You can call over and over and never get someone on the phone. You can leave multiple voicemails and never get a call back. These people want to bill your insurance without doing anything to help you. A few months ago they sent me a bill for $100 for an appointment I supposedly didnt show up for. With the invoice they sent a copy of the appointment sheet which did not have my signature. They could have made it up for all I know. I called and left a voicemail that day to find out what was going on. Never heard back. Recently they sent another invoice for that $100. I called and left yet another voicemail. No response. They are useless. They are good for getting you Zoloft if you need it but dont expect actual attention, compassion, or care from these people.

Dr Courvoisie was kind to my daughter, but the office itself is not patient friendly. You can never call and speak to a person it is always leave a message and they will call you back, which they dont, unless it is to discuss payments. We missed our last appointment (which it appears was my fault, I had apparently misunderstood which month she wanted to follow up with her- it was Aug not Oct) and we received a bill for $100 (her copay is usually $25) I understand that missing appointments is never condoned but $100??? That is crazy! I have 3 kids (ages 8-13) and have NEVER missed ANY appointments for Doctor, Dentist, PT, OT ....... anything!!!! This was the 1st and only appt we had ever missed and we never received a call or anything!!! I cant imagine that is typical!! Just an invoice in the mail a week later - before I had even realized we had missed the appointment in the first place. When I did call to discuss options they just wanted the $$, would not drop or even decrease the charge..
