As a recent transfer from Turning Point Family Care (that was closed), I can honestly say Im not impressed with Hope Services so far. As an adult receiving care here, I called today to see what employment assistance services this agency could refer me to or recommend. I spoke to Trish Wisse, who was not helpful at all. all she kept repeating was that they are a mental health facility for children and saying we dont do that here.I tried to explain to her how I previously was a full-time caregiver to both of my parents for 18 years and was hoping she had some good ideas or recommendations or more information who she could refer me to for employment help since this is been my first opportunity to return to the workplace after my mom was placed on hospice.Guess not.

Very unprofessional and inconsiderate

This facility is a daycare for children with mentally impaired and behavioral (anger/acting out?) issues, DO NOT allow your child to attend if they have substance abuse problems, is of no help. They do not treat this type of issue, although they claim they do. My child told me they never discussed his type of problem, and sat in a room with 2 mentally SLOW kids and a girl that wanted to date the wrong type of people. I pulled my child out so I could get him the proper treatment he needs, and to my surprise was contacted by child endangerment with childrens services, and had to answer to many false allegations made by a counselor named Brooke White. This woman was trying to get him placed in a residential facility, which was not recommended by anyone at this time, only outpatient for now. SO FYI PARENTS, DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING WITH THIS HOPE SERVICES or things could look to be very UNHOPEFUL in the future. This place is a joke. and so is Brooke, stick to what you possibly know, and do not advertise so someones insurance card can be charged.
