This is my new primary care office. The front desk ladies were kind and efficient in what they did. My physician, Crews, was truly incredible. I’ve never had an experience like this before. He was extremely attentive to my medical needs. His “bedside manner” is unlike anything I’ve seen before from a physician. He talks to you, human to human. He is expeditious, without rushing the process. Highest recommendation I’ve ever made. Want a physician that cares? Crews is the physician for you. The lab tech was also very friendly, and made the process seemless and painless.

Polite and Caring medical staff, in a very convenient location. Doctor Robert Crews-Eden is an amazing Physician who care about your healthcare needs.

Everyone here is so efficient and so nice. I have never seen someone like Crews. He is so caring and has gone out of his way to help me. His bedside manners are impeccable. I am truly lucky and very happy that I have him as my PA.

Dr. Edens is a wonderful PA. I have recommended my friends and family to him, and will continue to do so. He never rushes your visit and addresses all of your concerns thoroughly. I believe he truly cares for and respects each and every patient and his bedside manner shows this. In addition, the check-in ladies are always friendly and it seems like everyone in the office works well together. Very glad to have found this primary care location! The only thing that can be tricky at this location is parking, but if you just call the office in advance to get details, they will tell you exactly which parking deck to park in, and they will give you parking passes when you leave so that parking is free. Just give yourself a little extra time on your very first visit to find the right parking deck. Once you find it on your first visit, it is no problem for future visits.

Everyone I’ve seen there has been great! Specifically PA Robert Crews Eden. I’ve been seeing him for a few years now and I can’t save enough good things about him. He’s always responsive when I had questions. During any appointments, he really takes the time to understand what’s going on with my health and how to put a proper plan in place. He’s extremely caring and has been one of the best health providers I’ve ever had.

I love Dr Edens. He takes his time, gives prompt responses through MyChart and makes the patient feel like hes known them for years. Ive been recommending WakeMed to everyone I know.

This is, by far, the best primary care facility under the WakeMed name. The front-desk staff are always pleasant, kind and friendly. The nurses and aides are all professional and friendly. Robert Crews Eden is the nicest, genuine, most caring, and professional PA-C I have ever seen. He really listens to his patients and respects their thoughts and questions. You would do well to keep him on staff (especially at this location). Thank you.

The location is great for me, and Dr Amerson is a compassionate doctor who really listens. I also really enjoy my interactions with the girl who draws the blood samples, she’s funny and upbeat and makes having to give a blood sample not that bad.

This is a very good place for primary care and preventive health check-ups. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful in getting you checked-in. Dr.Gamal Tadros, who attended me for my preventative check up, was a very caring and friendly doctor. I certainly recommend this place for your primary care needs.

I scheduled a checkup here since it was near my work, and I was not let down! The staff up front were welcoming and friendly. Nicole, the main doctor, whatever the official title is, was fantastic. She took time to answer my questions and make me feel at ease on a couple things, and was just pleasant to talk to.The best part is probably the online portal where you can contact your doctor directly, see a log of test results, view your account history, and so on. Never seen this at any kind of health provider before. Love it.

I see Dr. Kira Vurlicer as my primary and she is patient, caring, and takes time to actually listen to her patients (something Ive not always found with doctors). I never feel rushed or weird about asking questions. Shes also very responsive to questions outside of the appointment via Wake Meds easy to use MyChart. Id highly recommend her as a primary.Also, the entire staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and the office staff has been willing to go the extra mile with insurance or other questions. And, I love the convenience of a downtown office.

I started going to this convenient downtown location in 2014 under the care of Dr. Tammi Waters and she took the time to listen to me and provide me with information. Unfortunately, she is no longer at the office but the current staff is just as great. Recently, I was traveling abroad and urgently needed a doctors letter, and Jennifer and Kyle went above and beyond to get it to me (we exchanged many calls and emails). Ive been seeing Doctor Amerson for 7+ years now and she is the best physician Ive ever worked with. She has always been there for me to support my health and overall wellness. She attentively listens to my needs, never makes me feel rushed when she is with me, and always presents all the options to me so that I can make informed decisions about my health.The staff at East Davie Street are also so wonderful - from the people who greet me at the front desk to all of the nurses and support staff. I have been going to this office since day one, I absolutely love Dr Amerson and her staff. I always look forward to my visit. My husband and I both see her. She is the best of the best. You really will not find a more through compassionate, caring, physician around. Test results and follow ups are usually given within days. I cant thank this office enough for always treating us with kindness and like family.

I moved to downtown Raleigh a little over a year ago and finally decided I should get set up with a primary care physician rather than continue driving out to the suburbs to my old practice. Im so happy that I moved to this practice and am quite pleased to have Dr. Vurlicer as my primary care physician. She really took her time getting to know me during my first visit. She seems very informed when it comes to natural remedies and preventive nutritional practices that keep patients healthy. In addition, she was quite knowledgeable of the latest research regarding cancer screenings and the suggested frequency for womens preventive medicine. The front office staff has been nothing short of amazing. So very friendly and helpful each time I have been in the office. There is a lab tech right there on site to do blood draws and all of the results are quickly communicated via the online patient portal. I am very happy with this practice and only wish I would have switched sooner.

I went here on a recommendation and met with Dr. Lowe-Payne, everything was great. Was quickly checked in and only waited a few minutes to see the doctor. The front office staff were friendly and welcoming, got any questions I had answered from the doctor or her staff.Everyone was just really pleasant!

Weve been disappointed over and over with City Center Medical! Im finally on my way towards finding a new practice. Once you manage to get in to see someone, they experience is really pretty good -- good doctors and nurses and friendly staff -- nothing to fault here. However, the management of the office is awful! Its hard to get someone on the phone. When you leave a message, they are unreliable about returning the message. Its hard to get appointments. Ive never been able to get a same day sick appointment so have to wait a day or two -- continuing to get sicker rather than better! And well care appointments are being booked out by about 3 weeks. They failed repeatedly to get my husband the referrals he needed and on multiple occassion couldnt find my records when I called to make an appointment. Too bad, because as I mentioned, the doctors there actually seem pretty good. Its not worth dealing with the office though. Im finding another family physician...

This is an excellent facility on all fronts. Very quick to call you back, schedule you for appointments, and accommodate you for questions. The nurses are top notch, and Dr. Klausner is the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever been to. I would highly recommend, especially for anyone who is slightly wary about going to the doctor. You will feel comfortable and taken care of here. I am so glad I chose this facility when I moved here.

Downtown WakeMed has super friendly staff!! They are polite, patient, and funny. I have never had to wait past my appointment time to get started (I always come in the morning). I would recommend and I have recommended!

Very convenient for my work location in Downtown Raleigh. Only downside is parking during peak hours. There needs to be reserved spaces on the street in front of this medical practice especially for the elderly and those whom have trouble with mobility. There also needs to be reserved spaces in the dedicated City Center Parking Garage located next door.

PA Crews is the best! He is attentive, smart, friendly and thorough all while being very positive and supportive. He is truly one of a kind!

I called City Center Medical Group out of the blue, hoping to get an appointment for a sick visit. They said no problem and scheduled me same day. Nicole Joslin was extremely thorough and I really felt like she was focused on me 100%. She spent time to talk to me, got me exactly what I needed and she (and everyone in the office!) had a very friendly and positive attitude. They even validated my parking. I will definitely visit again should I need to.

Dr. Lee is amazing. I had an issue with water retention because of my bp which caused my feet to swell. She Identified the problem, determined that I was on the wrong medication and since then I have not have any problems. I have been searching for a primary care physician for a while and she is the best. In addition, I love the 7am appointment times. I am always in and out no long waits and the staff is amazing!!

Dr Amerson is the best doctor I have ever had. She listens, shes thorough and takes her time ( a rare thing for doctors) and she stays current with research. Shes smart, kind and dedicated - I dont think you could look for better qualities in a physician. Yep - the front office goofs. But this doctor and the great nurses and techs who work with her are worth those annoyances.

If you can get in it is fine. Cant ever see my primary doctor and very seldom can get an appointment when sick. End up going to urgent care or CVS Minuet Clinic. Currently looking for a new primary doctor who isnt to busy to see patient when they are sick.

Dr. Amerson is the best primary care provider I have ever had! She is a great listener! The staff from Charlene at the front desk, to the onsite lab staff and the medical assistants - everyone is wonderful. The office runs on time and test results are quickly reported.

Today was my first appt. Check in process and wait time I give 5 stars! Medical assistant and PA were nice, however, I don’t feel like the PA was really listening to my needs. Told her my symptoms and all she suggested was an OTC herb and drew some labs. I requested a specific medication that I have had many friends have success with and she said that in her experience it wasn’t that good” This is MY experience! What is the harm in letting me try it to see how it works for ME? Seems she wants to drag out the process so I need to make more appts? Left feeling no better, with no real plan other than a lab. Very frustrated!

Wanted a flu shot. I called to see if that was possible despite how Ive never been a patient. They said yes, Id just need to do some paperwork and schedule an appointment. After waiting 15 minutes past my appointment I was told that Id need to pay for a new-patient visit with the doctor. I wanted a free flu shot, not an expensive doctor visit. I left after 30 minutes of wasted time.2 stars because, despite being misinformed, the front desk was cordial.

Dr. Amerson and the entire team at the Downtown Raleigh office provide exceptional care, plus they are courteous and attentive to the patients need to understand both the underlying diagnosis as well as what to expect from the course of any illness and of any medications that are required. Great facility; wonderful people.

Was hospitalized for 11 days and received excellent care.

Im surprised by other reviews that talk about difficulty scheduling appointments. Several times I have scheduled same day appointments for emergencies. The service is always amazing and the offices are beautiful. It is so wonderful to have an office right downtown!

Nobody really seems to know what they are doing here.A) My girlfriend visited the office and was prescribed medication for her pain stemming from RA.B) We were informed on April 6th that the prior authorization for the medicine was sent to the insurance company and that it would take 5-6 business days for us to hear back from them.C) Following the 5-6 business days, we contacted the insurance company who stated they had not received the prior authorization.D) We then contacted WakeMed to verify that the prior authorization had been sent in. They confirmed it had and stated it generally took 5-6 business days.E) The insurance company proceeded to reaffirm us that nothing had been sent in.F) Now it has been nearly three weeks, and the office still has not sent it in. When we called today, they had to obtain her insurance information to send it in later. This indicates that they were lacking the information to send it in which implies all previous interactions where they said they sent it in were false.The individuals who answered the phone did not seem empathetic to her situation and were also very prompt to transfer her call.I dont really review things but every time she calls this place and walks around, getting passed from person to person, none of whom seem to be helpful or informative; it is really frustrating.I do not recommend getting service from this practice.The level of disorganization in this office has negatively affected her health due to excessive delays and poor communication skills.

Lowest level of customer service possible. Front office staff has no follow through. Extended wait times and unorganized. I would never recommend this office to anyone. What is the purpose of an appointment for a blood pressure check, when youre going to make me wait in the lobby for an hour.

Office is disorganized and managed poorly. You cannot get them on the phone to simply make an appointment. You must hold for a very long time or leave a message. Perhaps the only advantage is the online portal, where you can communicate directly with Nurse or MD. Even if you get an appointment, I found I had to wait over an hour in the waiting room. So even though I went here because Of proximity to my home, the consistent disorganization, the hassle of making an appointment, and long wait times mean I’ll be going somewhere else. Staff are friendly and the doctors seem just fine (except they seem to change over DRs quite frequently). Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

On Wednesday, I went to Wakemed primary physicians located downtown. I went to see physician Dr. Gamal A. Tadros for a routine physical, and he was an amazing doctor. He was able to take my concerns and come up with a plan to overcoming them. He has a great personality, and he is very focused on helping his patient.

A great experience from check-in to check-out. Dr. Tadros and staff are professional, caring, and put the patients healthcare first. Dr. Tadros listened to my health questions, answered them and offered suggestions. The office is conveniently located downtown with parking nearby. I highly recommend Dr.Tadros for your healthcare needs.

We could not be happier with the medical attention and quality that we have received at Web Med with Dr. Tadros. The entire staff clearly wants your visit to be as easy & healthful as possible. Our physician, Dr. Tadros, is very knowledgeable and very caring. He not only listens to his patients, but also explains everything that he is doing or researching without the need to ask. On one occasion, one of us was at his office and because of sciatica pain, was bent over and unable to walk. Dr. Tadros immediately called on 2 assistants to provide him a wheelchair and take him home (we live across the street). Dr. Tadros did not leave his side until he saw that all was in order. We have had occasion to ask to see the doctor as soon as possible and the staff immediately made time on that day’s schedule. We have had need over the years to utilize the services of many physicians in the different cities where we have lived and as caring and as skilled as they were, none can come near to the attention and caring that one receives from Dr. Tadros. We would recommend him and his staff to everyone.

I have a variety of health issues being taken care of by Dr. Tadros and I can’t say enough about how great and attentive he’s been with me. He seems to truly care about my well being and takes the time to talk to me and explain everything that’s going on in detail. I never feel like I’m being rushed out the door to get to the next patient like I have with some other doctors in the past. As for the location and staff, wait times are minimal and they’ve been friendly and caring. I’ve only been a patient for about a month, but I can definitely see Dr. Tadros being my primary care provider for the foreseeable future. Thanks Dr. Tadros and everyone at WakeMed Downtown Raleigh!

I left Wake Med in Knightdale because I hated the way they processed me. This Wake Med facility in DT Raleigh on the other hand is properly amazing. I am really impressed. I saw Dr Vurlicer and her PA Tamesha (sorry for any typo), both were really kind, not rushing and thoughtful. Thank you, Ill be back!

I have been seeing Dr. Amerson for the past year, but everyone in her practice is very friendly. I have finally found a physicians practice that I trust!

I am a new patient to the downtown Raleigh office, with only having 3 appointments there so far, but my transition has been impeccable! I am a patient of Dr. Tadros. He has shown true interest and care in my healthcare and has made my transition to the WakeMed practice a wonderful experience . The office staff is caring and patient. I have requested certain test last minute, and each staff member has been more that happy to help me. Dr. Tadros has listened to past medical history and has corrected past mistakes from my former physician. Unlike my former PCP who rushed my appointments and only was looking for quick fixes to move on to the next patient, Dr. Tadros has been active and spends time reviewing and revising my healthcare plan. I am so happy I am a patient at this office. I would recommend this office to all who are looking for a caring, positive, and upbeat staff along with a physician whose priority is his patients well-being and long term health goals.

Awful doctor. Misdiagnosed me and didnt even test for anything. Turns out I had strep throat and the flu and he said you have a cold sleep it off when my lymph were severely swollen and hurting he repeated himself sleep it off Will never go back and dont recommend him at all.

Good listener, compassionate, understanding, caring - everything you want when you go to a doc. On my first appointment, I had to give her the download so she knew where I was in my health journey. She actively participated in conversation and understood the path I had been taking and what my goals were. I believe I have found a partner in care and I am thrilled to be her patient.The only down part - which is not their fault - the parking on the street in downtown Raleigh when the meters dont work and you think they do. UGH... daggone ticket. The office did tell me when I made my follow up appointment that I can park in P2 next time and bring the ticket to validate.YAY for Dr. Amerson!

Horrible experience at this office, doctor took no time at all. The staff was very unfriendly. They ran completely unnecessary tests and over billed me for a routine physical.

Took time off of work to go here for a check up. When I showed up, then had no record of my appointment. I was told that Id have to take another afternoon off of work to fit in another appointment to their hours. Wont be going back.
