The level of care was good but the front desk is a small disaster. I filled out paperwork for a records release that took twenty minutes of research on my end to get all the information. I waited a month to follow up with the provider at which time she told me they had no records and she would investigate that. I called two weeks later only to find that they lost my form and needed it filled out all over again. I’m livid with the front office’s negligence as it directly correlates with zero care for the medical condition the records pertained to. Absolutely severing my relationship with this office.

Dr Roberto Rupcich and the staff do not value the time of their patients. I arrived on time for my appointment and they made me wait in a room for 45 minutes at which point I left. No staff even came back into the room to inform me that the doctor would be delayed. Dr Rupcich called me later to apologize and made excuses about how the healthcare system is stretched thin and how he was helping out other doctors. He should not schedule more patients than he can attend to. At the least he should have asked the staff to inform me that he would be delayed.Wakemed in general is very inefficiently managed. They make mistakes in their billing quite frequently and their myChart app often shows wrong or incomplete information. Their rates are exorbitant as well. You will have to pay in full of you have a high deductible insurance plan. My friend was charged $250 for a mandatory telehealth prescreening for Covid before being allowed to visit the primary care doctor in person, and then charged another $300 for the in person visit.

Love the doctors at this practice! Ive been going for 5 years and Ive always been very pleased with the level of service Ive received from Dr. Chenna! She is especially awesome.I had a very uncomfortable experience with a receptionist this morning, however, that makes me feel compelled to leave feedback. I was calling to schedule my yearly physical and I spoke with Francine. I suggested scheduling earlier than usual this year because Im concerned about coming to a healthcare facility during what the CDC is predicting will be the COVID upswing. Francine gave me some pushback and when I assured her that I wanted to schedule early and that the particulars of my insurance would present no problems, she said Well, I will write that down in case you get charged and call our manager to say something different. I thought that was just a really ugly thing to say. I have never called to dispute a bill and I resent the accusation that I would. I think a Let me make a note of that in your chart would have sufficed. Very disappointed with this experience :(

I was feeling like I was definitely getting sick and it was a Friday. I didnt want to be miserable all weekend so I made an appointment. I saw Jason Mitchell at the Brier Creek office. My family all love him so, I decided to try him. He was amazing. He was so nice and took extra time with me to make sure he covered all my symptoms. And did I mention that it was a Friday late afternoon. I actually felt better walking out. I was feeling better that night. I would highly recommend seeing Jason Mitchell.

Cant say enough about WakeMed primary care. It took me a while to find the right practice when I moved here and after a few wrong turns, I finally found a great place. All staff are welcoming, professional and compassionate. My provider, Tish Barbaro is the absolute best. Ive had to be referred to several specialists and the experience has been great, including trying to find the right match for me in addition to just the expertise. Highly recommend!

I have been going to this office for a few years, even before they moved to this location. Dr. Erickson is a phenomenal doctor. She is a holistic care provider who takes her time and really listens to your needs as a patient. I also see Dr. Holley as well. Dr Holley is very thorough, and knowledgeable. He has a pleasant personality and is very professional. I have read the other reviews here and felt the need to share my positive experiences. I have also have very positive interactions with the office staff. I am very pleased with my experiences here.

I left my physician because my insurance no longer covered them as in-network and I needed to find a PCP with affordable co-pays. ONE visit to this place and it has been a nightmare. You have to ask this office to do everything and they NEVER answer the phone. There seems to be no communication within the office. Not to mention I get a bill saying I didnt pay my copay at the time of the visit and I CLEARLY have the receipt in my hand.......I am switching back to my other doctor and will just have to deal with the high co-pay. This is ridiculous!!

I have had bad experiences at Brier Creek Medical Group. When I first started coming back in 2013, I had a doctor that was very rude and ended up switching to another doctor in that practice. My second doctor was knowledgeable, but the more I visited the more I felt like my voice was being unheard. Over the last 2 weeks, I have been sick and all I keep getting is more appointments without any solutions. I am switching because I cannot do this anymore. In terms of customer service with the front desk staff, they know me by name so I cant complain.

Had a MRI on Thursday and the Group called me on Sunday to discuss action plans. Now thats what I call a great and medical team. Thanks Brier Creek Medical Group

I was a pt of dr Messer when her practice was at wake med. I followed her to biar creek. She is such an outstanding Dr./personDr Messer is 1 in a million. No matter if it’s physically or mentally she gives you that feeling of ,I’m here and I care. In 2008 my mom was admitted to a nursing home and I was really having a rough time emotionally. I discussed it with her. The shoulder,the time,the advice is what Dr Messer gave to me that day. God has his Angles every where and he had Dr Messer for me that day. The entire staff at Biar creek is awesome.

This was the worst experience I have ever had as a new patient. The nurse was rude and unfriendly. Why would you ever go into health care if you dont like people?The doctor was not thorough or helpful when I asked a question.I feel like I did not get a good yearly physical at all. I will not be returning and will begin a new search for a female internist.

I was heading on my way there and they ended up canceling my appointment with them. They’ve told me that they only had one time in which to make it and if you’re not there, they won’t even check with the doctor to see if he can take you in.I’m switching primary care doctors and definitely not recommending Dr. Wesonga to anyone.

Had a very bad experience for my annual physical checkup. They charged me extra ($135 out of my pocket) for asking simple routine health related question during my physical checkup claiming it was split billing form permitting physician to address issues beyond the routine wellness visit.The questions I asked were basic and was responding to doctors question - If there are questions/concerns?. The question I had asked was regarding minor wrist pain that I was having. The doctor suggested some general wrist exercise (which I was already doing from a simple search on google) and for which I was charged $135 (they charged $450 to insurance) which is ridiculous. There was no medications, follow-up, x-ray etc. suggested.Come on Wake-med, if you are not making enough money than close down this branch but dont create such traps to get money from patients.Not visiting this branch again.

My first visit went very well and the staff was friendly and the doctor that saw me was excellent.

Absolutely horrible experience. Left to take my 84 yr. old mother to Dr. Chennas office for a 1st visit. GPS would not recognize address. After calling office # over 6 times, selecting each option, either got a person who couldnt give directions, got a msg. for a return call (never recd. call) and was on hold for an extended length of time each call. Left 2 1/2 hrs. early, was 25 min. late. They would not even try to accommodate her. Said next available appt. would be in a month. Had to take her back home. She cried. Office staff were useless and totally uncaring of the situation. Will never step foot in there again! Id post zero stars, but that option is not available.

From the time you check in to the time you check out, you will feel as if you are their only patient.

They have moved to 8001 TW Alexander Drive, Brier Creek Health Building #216.They will basically NOT DO anything for you, but prescribe over the counter meds. Dont waste your time going here. The Doctors will not listen to your needs and will rush you along with a brief and courteous good bye. The Medical Assistant will spend more time with you than the MDs. They also have a PA that is not much better. Altogether the visit is under 3 minutes.Go elsewhere and save your time.

I am not allowed to ask any concerns during the physical visit or I will be charged for a sick visit, even If I am not sick. What s the point? just weight yourself at home.

I like my MD, but everything about this practice is terrible. No one ever answers the phone. I have been on hold 3 times for over 20 minutes each time, left messages and still no results. Also, last time I went to see doctor wait time was over an hour for a 15 minute appointment time. Someone help them, please!

Dr. Chenna takes her time with you and does not rush. She involves you in your health care.
