I was thinking about doing Lasik for the longest time and thought that now would be better than waiting any longer. The consultation was easy and very thorough so you really feel that they are taking every precaution to ensure you are a good patient for them. Youll move room to room and there was very little waiting between doctors. After I left, Dr. Travers called me herself and was willing to answer any questions and offered her ear in case I had any concerns that arose. When it came time for the procedure, they test you again and prepare you for the post-op. The actual procedure took less than 10 minutes and Dr. Travers walked me through the entire thing. Although the surgery can be intimidating, its very quick and as long as you breath, all will be okay! Although the price was more than expected, Id do it again in a heartbeat because of the great service, quick turnaround and the expertise of Dr. Travers.

I went into Travers Lasik for a consultation and was taken care of so kindly and thoroughly. I was not expecting the initial exam to be so in-depth and it really made me feel confident in the care that was being provided. I left the office feeling pretty secure that I was going to book my procedure, but wanted a night to think about it. I never once felt pressured. Dr. Travers herself called me later that evening to let me know that she reviewed my chart and tests and confirmed that she believed I was a great candidate! That made the decision for me! :)

After 40+ years of wearing glasses and contacts at a high prescription I was finally ready to get corrective eye surgery. It hasnt even been 24 hours and I have perfect distance vision. I decided to not get monovision so I am wearing readers but it is worth it. I dont think I have ever had vision this crisp in my entire life. It must be such a happy place to work giving people the gift of perfect vision. I would recommend Dr. Travers to any one contemplating it. This place is a well-oiled machine. I don’t think I’ve been in any practice or place that runs as efficiently as them. There’s a lot of moving parts on the consultation day and surgery day that I wasn’t expecting, but man they got it done so quickly and professionally. I’m at my follow up right now the next morning and I can see just about perfectly. I’m leaving this review the day after my surgery. 🥳Everyone at Travers is kind and efficient with their work. Even though they see many patients each day, they still treat you like they only see a few people a day.The consultation is a very thorough 1.5 hours to make sure you’re a good candidate and it doesn’t cost anything.When you go in for the appointment, they have such a good routine, I was headed home in less than 2 hours with my new eyes and didn’t have to wait around much at all. The procedure lasted less than 10 minutes for both eyes and is weird/uncomfortable but not painful.They schedule multiple follow ups with you to make sure everything is right.Waking up the next day, there is no pain, just tired feeling in my eyes. I feel like I can already see better than when I had contacts in and my eyes aren’t red.I highly recommend at least going in for the consultation as you’re not held to anything. Dr. Travers performed Lasik on my husband almost 10 years ago and he finally talked me into getting mine done as well. Everyone at the office was incredibly friendly and eager to put the patient at ease. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. All of the staff at Travers Lasik are fantastic. There is little wait time for each visit and they do a great job explaining the process. They talk to you throughout the whole procedure which only lasts a few minutes. The day after the procedure I could see 20/20 in each eye and 20/15 with both. Highly recommend to anyone who is considering Lasik surgery.

I was apprehensive when I arrived, but the staff were great and addressed my questions as they arose. Dr. Hoye was very thorough with the exam, and consulted with Dr. Travers for a surgical recommendation best suited to my eyes. Everyone was professional and courteous, and seemed to have my best interests as their focus.(The only reason I deducted a star is that I do not recall being advised that they would be dilating my eyes, and I should have had a driver, as I live quite a distance away when vision is blurry - eek!)

Before my mono vision surgery I was always looking for my glasses or squinting when I couldn’t find my readers. My distance vision was clear until I was almost on top of the road sign. Everyone at Travers is so nice and friendly. My first appointment Dr. Travers came and spoke with me while I was waiting in the lobby. It was just me in the lobby but it impressed me that she took the time to see if I had any questions. Especially with my medical history which again I was impressed that she had already reviewed. Dr. Haswell was very friendly and took the time to go over my history and concerns. I have never felt rushed through any of my appointments.
