He (Dr. George Edwards III) is always professional and friendly. He get right to the point and let you know what is happening. True to his word and clean office, friendly staff. Enjoy going, but not giving up my money!! Lol. Will recommend him to any all. Great guy and doctor!!!

Dr. Edwards III, performed surgery on my daughter at 4 months of age in 2015 and then my 12 year old also had to have surgery on his hand this year in 2020 and each time that weve had to have a surgical procedure, he has been Awesome! Hes professional and very nice and comforting at the same time! Just a wonderful doctor and the staff is also amazing, from the time we walked through the door until surgery and even after for the post-op, the feeling is relaxed and re-assuring that were on the right place and that everything will be ok. Long story short, this is the place to go and doctor to see if you need this type of care, we sure are thankful for him and his staff, for the care that weve received initially in 2015 and again in 2020 😊

I was taken into my appointment on time. Dr. came in promptly, listened attentively to my explanation. I did not feel rushed. He retrieved my past records from my portal, then explained the cause of my pain, and gave me options. I received the shoulder injection, it was not painful. Looking forward to eliminating taking Tylenol every day.

Dr. Edwards is a skilled diagnostician and practitioner. He takes time with his patients examining and asking questions. Love this doctor and this practice! I had torn tendons that healed and kept causing problems due to scar tissue buildup. He treats conservatively and with what is necessary. After medication, a brace and PT had not worked we went ahead with surgery. After surgery to remove the extra tissue, the pain was immediately gone. That left me to do PT to rebuild the strength and ROM I had lost in the year after my injury. Just took my daughter with inflammation due to repetitive motion/overuse. So thankful for this excellent practice! I can recommend them w/o any hesitation! I will also say that they have just as excellent as reputation and the respect of the medical community as with their former patients.

A wonderful place with cheerful and personable staff. Allison at the front desk was amazing! The physical therapists were professional and caring. Jo, Andrea, Ashley were amazing and helpful with everything I had to ask and encouraged me every step of the way. Dr. Edwards III was kind, caring, professional and an overall great person. This experience was wonderful and I hope I never have to come back but if I do I’ll pick this place every time.

This was a waist of time. I arrived early and was not seen until 50 min after the appointment time. They did not prepare at all for the visit and could have saved everyone some time if they had prepared. It was highly unprofessional.

So far, I am more than impressed with Dr. George Edwards III. He was a LISTENER. He listens to his patients and was very accommodating in his care. I am on my way right now to have surgery by him on my hand and I will add to this review accordingly. So far, I am simply impressed.UPDATE: After my first surgery, my recovery was going so well that I decided to go ahead and get my other thumb arthroplasty done. I have healed up from this as well. I cant tell you enough how pleased I am with Dr. Edwzrds,III. He is a one of a kind physician with both bedside manner AND skill in his favor. Osteoarthritis is painful and I hope to never come back for this, but if I do, I KNOW who my doctor will be!Oh! I almost forgot! I brought my children to every dr. appointment, mostly due to having no other choice but he and the office staff were very understanding and we were all mostly treated with respect. Physical therapy was efficient. But anyway, my biggest compliment was pertaining to the Doctor. As a 26 year veteran seasoned nurse and having seen all personalities and skill combinations in doctors, you dont get better than Dr. Edwards, III.

Dr. George Edwards III is a miracle worker. I broke my right arm and shoulder 24 years ago. There has not been a day since that occurrence Ive not been in pain, with limited use of my arm. At the time of the fracture, my orthopedic surgeon explained after surgery the injury was not repairable. I assumed that meant it could never be fixed.A year ago the pain became much worse. I saw my regular orthopedic surgeon of at least 15 years, who upon reviewing my MRI, told me I had a bone spur in my shoulder that needed to be removed. The MRI report clearly stated the rotator cuff was torn in three places. I asked my doctor if he could also repair that tear, and he answered me no, it wasnt that bad? I could only assume there was a detailed explanation for his response he chose not to elaborate on. He scheduled me for surgery December 10th. The surgery was a complete failure, leaving me in far greater pain than I previously had been, with even more limited use of my arm. I returned to my doctor numerous times begging for help, he offered me none.Another doctor told me about Dr. Edwards, saying I needed a specialist, and should see him. Dr. Edwards ordered another MRI, the report left me stunned and completely baffled by my former doctors treatment of me. The rotator cuff was apparently severely torn at this point, as was the biceps tendon. I had virtually no ability to use my arm, so arranged yet another surgery, which was scheduled May 27th with Dr. Edwards.I was in extreme pain upon conclusion of the surgery, but gradually, it greatly lessened. Each week, I regained more use of my arm. One magical day, I realized I no longer had any pain resulting from the old fracture, and could use my arm again, almost normally. He had fixed that too!Today he discharged me. Dr. Edwards didnt simply repair a serious, complicated injury, he greatly improved my quality of life. I am currently becoming accustomed to the knowledge I can use my right arm again, and it doesnt hurt. I can reach things on shelves, I can throw it over the back of my seat to help when exiting a parking space. I can change light bulbs. The simplest little things you never consider, until you can no longer do them. I can never thank Dr. Edwards enough. He cleaned up the mess my previous doctor had made, repaired my current injuries, and a 24 year old fracture! What can you say about a person who affects the duration of your life so greatly? Thank you seems utterly insufficient. He didnt just fix an injury, he has made the rest of my life, the best of my life.

Best hand doctor in the Raleigh area. Great bedside manner, best knowledge of hand problems and how to fix them.

Was involved in a car accident 10/31/16 and was referred to this practice. Was injected with two steroid shots and several weeks of hand therapy. When the Dr. Edwards gave his report he felt like I was faking the pain of my injury. Its 3/28/19 and Im still dealing with the severe pain in my right hand. No reason to lie about this pain I deal with everyday!!
