This practice is amazing. They have the latest technology. Dr. McConnell, Dr. Hamby, and Amber are very gentle.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Shireman and was very impressed with everything. First off the office itself is nice and modern, comfortable waiting area. My hygienist Kristen was very thorough and friendly, I had never had my gum pockets around each tooth measured and she explained everything she was doing very clearly. She talked to me about home practice and things I could be doing differently that would be helpful. I also love that they are a holistic practice and used a natural toothpaste on me. Dr. Shireman was very friendly and knowledgeable as well! Happy to have found this practice!

I have a 6 year old who has autism and struggles with extreme anxiety and sensory issues. Dr. Shireman and her staff were amazing with my daughter. They listened to everything I had to say regarding how I felt would be the best way to approach examining my daughter. Dr. Shireman was willing to work with us to make my daughter feel comfortable and be cooperative. She is very knowledgeable, has a great bedside manner, and is great with the kids! I am very happy that I found a dental provider that considers me and equal partner in my childs care.

My wife introduced me to Dr. Shireman and her staff. I am forever grateful. She is an amazing person, wife, mother and dentist. I have always been treated great by Dr. Shireman and her staff. Kelsey, the office manager, is a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. The office is very clean and modern. Nothing but positive things to say.

I just saw Dr. Shireman for the first time. There were so many things I was impressed by that I probably cant even remember them all. First, Margo who cleaned my teeth actually sat and talked to me about my teeth--my home habits, my sensitivity, etc. Then she measured all of my gum pockets, which I have never heard of before, as a preventive measure. She seemed more knowledgeable and concerned about my health than any dental hygienist I have ever seen. Second, Dr. Shireman even talked with me about my sensitivity. Mind you, I did not bring this up to either of them but they asked me lots of questions about my dental health. She even asked me what my philosophy is about replacing amalgam fillings. I have never in my life had a medical professional ask me my philosophy about any medical issue. Third, no one pressured me to have x-rays, which I asked to not do because I dont have insurance. In summary, they seemed genuinely concerned about my health and genuinely respectful of me as a person.

I love Dr. Shireman and her staff. My husband and I were two of the first patients when she opened the office in Cameron Village. He also was her patient for a short period of time when she was in a group practice. She has always been attentive to patient care and needs and her staff resonates that same philosophy!

Have seen them recently; found them very inefficient and unprofessional specifically on the administration part. Im seeing all other reviews going out of the roof: making me think if they have been written by friends/family members. Or the other plausible explanation would be that they have had changes in their administration.Do yourself a favor by looking elsewhere for the sake of saving your time by not dealing with inefficient, highly unprofessional staff.

They are not what I would call holistic. I would suggest going somewhere else if that is what you are looking for.
