As a new client, I am very happy with the service and products that I received at Eye Care Premier. I was greeted at the door by a friendly person who took my temperature. Everyone wore a well fitted mask and I knew covid-safety was practiced here. There was no waiting and I was immediately escorted to a back room where preliminary tests began. Soon, Dr. Bedsole arrived and he was very friendly, caring, easy to talk with and professional. The helpful Optician was knowledgeable and very patient with my indecisiveness in choosing new eye glasses. The Office manager and the whole team were all courteous and eager to help. Upon my request, they added their input which helped me to finally make a choice of frames and we even shared a few laughs! All paperwork and payment was handled smoothly by the front desk. They guided me to make the best choices for payment, saving me a few dollars. Everything was so easily handled and information was made clear. I had a very pleasant experience and I love my new glasses! I will be going back again and I highly recommend Eye Care Premier.

This was the third or fourth eye doctor I’ve been to over the last 15 years, and while this doctor was a bit standoffish, he was the first to diagnose the binocular vision issue I’ve unknowingly been suffering from my entire life. Not only was he able to provide me great relief with this diagnosis, but the man who helped me pick out my glasses was superb. He was extremely kind and proficient in helping me pick out a pair of glasses that I was confident in. The front desk staff was also very friendly! Looking forward to next year’s appointment.

The staff is very kind, professional and thorough. I will not go anywhere else. My eyes are in very good hands. Dr. Bedsole gives a very good eye examination. Eyeglasses are available to be purchased if so desired.

Another great experience at ECP! I have been a patient of Dr. Bedsoles for a long time and wouldnt consider seeing any other eye doctor. From check in to check out, the staff is friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Jeff who always goes above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied with my frame selection.

I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Read the repeat comments, theres a reason these things have been experienced by many. The office is run by Dr. Forsyth and Dr. Bedsole--Forsyth whose an egotistical a-hole who has been heard screaming how he doesnt care about his patients in the middle of the day and Bedsole a control freak with some serious anger issues. It is truly miraculous that this business is even open still or that employees havent sued both doctors for a hostile work environment. You arent receiving your information with the front desk people/office manager because they arent ALLOWED to. You dont get answers to any questions because they arent ALLOWED to. This is unfortunately one of the many offices that give doctors and eye care a horrible rap. The optical department and the gentlemen that work there are fantastic but thats where it stops. Please dont go here.

Relaxed, low-key atmosphere with friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient staff. Our family has been seeing Dr. Bedsole for annual eye exams (and other minor eye problems) for nearly 20 years, and we have consistently had good experiences with him, the receptionists, technicians, and opticians. In fact, we moved an hour away more than a decade ago and still make the trip to Raleigh for Eye Care PREMIER services.

I always have a great experience at Eye Care Premier. The front desk staff are helpful, friendly and attentive; Dr. Bedsole is a knowledgeable doctor who cares about his patients. I have referred many folks to this practice. My husband, daughter and son all go to this practice.

Been going here for over 10 years. Welcoming front desk staff and non-salesy doctor. Has kept my contact prescription same for years. Eyeware is a separate area inside the building and not necessary unless you specifically want glasses.

I reported more & larger floaters in my eye than normal and asked if I should be concerned. The doctor didnt think is was a problem and said to wait to see him 2-3 weeks later for my eye exam at which time he said I was fine. A week later I had a blind spot in my eye and had to get emergency surgery for a detached retina. I highly recommend that you make sure your eye doctor is an Ophthalmologist and not just an Optometrist. You may pay more, but youll be safer and better diagnosed in the long run. We only have 1 set of these babies!!!

HORRIBLE experience. Dr. Forsyth is the absolute worst!!!! During the exam, I expressed my concern about my vision, and he said, “that’s not what I asked,” since he was asking me which line was better to see. He also kept blowing me off when I was asking about my contacts and glasses prescriptions. I had to leave. Ginger and Katherine up front were very nice. The office manager, Ashley, was cold and uncaring when I was talking to her about how Dr. Forsyth treated me. She simply billed me out and showed me the door. There was no apology from either her, nor Dr. Forsyth. How is she the office manager??? I wish I had looked at these reviews before coming here. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE. I will be going elsewhere for my contacts and glasses, they will not be receiving my business here. Apparently you have to be white to be treated right, and since I’m not, I was treated like dirt, cut off, and talked over.

Receptionist/ front desk experience was horrible. Ginger was not helpful at all. I had to call 4 times to get a copy of my prescription. I attempted to discuss my concern with the office manager who was no more helpful than Ginger. I’ve been a patient there for over 10 years, and I will not return. I would prefer to give my business to an office that can offer friendly, professional service.

Most comprehensive eye exam I have ever received in 60 years. Staff was friendly and Dr. Forsyth is outstanding. He took extra time to explain the results of everything he did and made sure I understood. When it was time to select frames Jeff asked a few questions and helped find the frames that fit my needs without being a salesmen. No pressure to try and upsell stuff I was not interested in. Professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I could not be more satisfied with my overall experience. I highly recommend this establishment to everyone.

I am majorly impressed :) Every one of the staff were above excellent in their manner. They are amazing here. The quality of care here is much better than my previous eye doctor. They explained things easily and clearly and got my prescription just right. From the front desk associates, to the triage consultant, to the doctor, to the eye glass selection staff. All were so keenly helpful and pleasant. I really feel that I cannot say enough good things. Well done!

DO NOT COME HERE! Worst place I have ever been to don’t waste your money and time. Very rude & pushy people. I’ve called multiple times for my prescription and they would keep giving me excuses literally took a whole week for them to give it to me. Check their EEOC complaints!

Had the most worst experience here. I do not recommend this place at all. My doctor was extremely pushy and would not let me tell him exactly what I needed. Will never be back. This place only cares about money!!!

I like this practice very much. The staff is nice and helpful and the doctors are very knowledgeable. I buy my glasses from them as well. If something goes wrong, I am very hard on my glasses, they fix it no questions asked. I highly recommend this practice if you are looking for one.

I have been seeing Dr. Forsyth for many years. He has always been patient, very nice, most pleasant, and cares about his patients. He acts generally concerned. He has never been anything but nice and a true gentleman.He has helped me with many eye issues, because of my previous issues prior to my seeing him the first time.I would recommend him to everyone, and I have.

If you are African American, dont spend your money or insurance with these people. The office manager called her african american employee who was working their at the time, afro puff a brillo pad and repeated it as if it was ok to say. Dont even think about working at this place, they will drain every bit of positive energy you have. If you are not getting yelled at you will definately be talked about and belittled. Check their track record. They cant keep employees. Better yet, check their EEOC complaints. Be careful whose pockets you support.😔

Has two EEOC complaints pending against them for a harassing and intimidating environment. Don’t let their fake personas fool you. They charge up to 2.8 times their invoice. Don’t waste your money!
