Oakwood is amazing! I moved here in the fall and needed a local chiropractor, so I reached out to Dr. Mike and was able to make a new patient appointment with very little notice. He spent quite a bit of time going over my history and discussing my specific problem areas, then went ahead and adjusted me. My new patient appointment also included a follow up adjustment the next week.There are a couple of really great monthly plans to choose from- I get two express adjustments and a 1-hour massage each month for around a hundred bucks total (which is an insanely good deal considering it was about $45-$75 per adjustment at my last chiropractor). The massage therapist I see there (Russ) is also amazing and does a great job addressing my problem areas and recommending stretches for me to do at home.The icing on the cake is that all of the employees here are just good people. Dr. Mike and Russ are both very personable, relatable, and funny guys. They’re very easy to talk to and they genuinely care that you’re feeling better. They also offer a lot of additional services that I haven’t taken advantage of yet (like cupping, for example)- in fact, ask Dr. Mike if you can check out the “menu” he made! 😆 Bottom line I would definitely recommend Oakwood. As the saying goes, it’s the best crack in town! 😝

Dr. Mike does a phenomenal job. I had to visit him on somewhat of an emergency after I hurt myself at work and could barely bend over. 2 quick, but incredibly thorough visits later and I can reach my all the way toes again. Im happy to recommend him to anyone via word of mouth to the point that Im even doing it on Google; if youre having issues hes 100% percent worth the initial visit deal and you can form your own opinion from there.

I went in with complaints of radiating lower back pain, and not only did he address my immediate concerns, but also truly cared about and discussed my overall well-being. Olivia has transformed my once problematic cystic acne prone skin to skin that now gets me complements from random strangers. I have been getting monthly facials from Olivia for the past year and just experienced her new “Old Fashion” facial today and it did not disappoint. Olivia’s facials are a treat for the senses and she knows how to deal with sensitive and troublesome skin. She offers great advice and turned me on to Skin Script products. Olivia is a gem!

Mike truly cares for the well-being of others. I had an extremely painful back spasm on a Sunday and started frantically calling any well rated chiropractic practice I could find. Mike gave me a call back very shortly after (and was the only one to call me back at all), was willing to come into the practice on that same day (Sunday when they are typically closed) to help me, and coached me through what was happening with my back and what steps to take next. Though I didnt need to come in as the spasm released, he asked me to check in the next day and gave me next steps for my recovery. This guidance was provided free of charge. Ive met very few health care professionals that are so engaged with their patients and none willing to help others out of pure kindness. His guidance not only calmed my injury, but gave me a great sense of peace. Thank you, Mike!

Doc Finn was awesome. Dealing with lower back pain for a month due to my own stubbornness. We chatted about my pain and what caused it and he was sure he could get me squared away. After the first visit it felt 100% better. I like that he wasnt pushing for me to come in weekly for an undetermined amount of time. Last chiropractor did that and I wasnt a fan. If I have any issues or know anyone that does I will be referring them here.

What a fantastic practice! Ive been receiving chiropractic work for years, but Dr. Finn is head and shoulders (and spine!) above the rest! I came in with an ongoing headache that refused to abate, no amount of stretching or pain relievers could put a dent in the pain. A friend recommended me and after just two visits, I was finally back to myself. Dr. Finn is thorough and has an excellent bedside manner; hes truly concerned with the causality of your issue and not merely the symptoms. If you want not just relief, but a way to actually get better, I highly recommend!

After going to Dr. Mike, I wouldn’t go to another chiropractor. He genuinely listens and takes the time to explain some of the science that’s behind his treatment method. His systemic wellness approach gives you the most benefit from the treatment and he is happy to offer simple and effective tips to maintain/enhance pain reduction post-treatment.

Ive had services from Dr. Mike, Leslie, and Olivia. They are all so nice and Ive never felt pressure to buy random extras or products. I became a member after several months of going back and am so happy with my choice.

These guys are the BEST! I got my first facial with Olivia back in May and havent missed a monthly facial yet! The facials are different each month based on season and they are ALWAYS fantastic. They are super reasonably priced and even more so if you sign up for their membership (which you can freeze for a VERY small fee or cancel at any time so you dont feel pressured!) I started using a face rinse each night that Olivia recommended and it has made a night and day difference, so much that my husband started using it too! Dr. Mike & Olivia will always greet you with a smile and friendly conversation & will take the time to build that rapport that every patient wants. As a dental hygienist, I think they do a great job getting to know and meeting the needs of their patients. If you are looking for a 5 star facial, this is your place! My husband plays ultimate and also sees Dr. Mike weekly for adjustments. He has had nothing but great things to say about that end of the business as well. I had such a great experience here! My visit started with seeing Dr. Mike to get an adjustment. He was wonderful he explain to me what and why he was doing the things he was to get my body working properly. I didnt have any pain when I went to see him but he still loosened me up and it felt amazing. Then I saw Emma Jo for a one hour massage. I have had a lot of massages in my life and this one was by far the best. The room and bed was comfortable and clean. She was attentive to the amount of pressure she was applying as well as where I had pain. I came out of the room in a daze I was so relaxed. Then it was on tinny facial with Kayla. She was very informative, knowledgeable and excited about her position at the company and what they had coming up. I will definitely be coming back here for more treatments and bring friends with me!

Firstly, the professionalism and friendliness of the owner, Mike, and staff is something you wont find at many businesses. From the moment you walk in the door, they make you feel like you are their #1 client (even if its you first visit). I had a 1-hour massage with Rachel last week. I opted for an upper body/back deep-tissue approach, since that is where I carry the most tension and was very pleased with the results (I have previously had deep-tissue massages at large chain businesses, and 5 star spas in the area). I received a facial from this facility. (it was complimentary, though this is my honest review) My technician asked if it was my first time, which it was, and allowed time for me to ask any questions. She was happy to talk as much or as little as I wanted, and made sure the temperature was comfortable for me at all times. She was very sweet, and I had a great experience. While it was a nice experience, I didnt notice anything crazy different in the next few days about my face. Pleasant staff and nice facility.

I started seeing Dr. Mike this summer during the club ultimate season. I can confidently say this helped my performance on the field, as well as my recovery between tournaments and practices. Over the past couple years I had become more susceptible to minor injuries and muscle pulls. By coming to Oakwood, I was able to get focused treatment on the areas that normally bother me. This season I was able to stay injury free and get ahead of deep tissue knots that developed throughout the summer. Dr. Mike is also great and takes time to get to know you, which makes for an even better experience. I also highly recommenced booking an hour long deep tissue massage with his staff. This made me feel like an 18-year old again!

Never going to a chiropractor before, I was both nervous and excited. I had an issue with my sciatic nerve from a long (13 hour) car ride. I was in a lot of pain. I met with Mike and he put me at ease almost right away. He really listened to me and explained exactly why Im in pain and what he will do to help. After a few cracks and small treatments I was feeling more loose and more comfortable. He explained that this wasnt the cure, but he gave me instructions for further recovery. I will most definitely be back. I also had a 30 minute massage with a male and it was fantastic. This will be my go to place for massage, chiropractic work and skin health from here on out!

Dr. Mike is excellent, and does so much more than re-alignment. You Cant Argue with ResultsBottom line is Dr. Mike saved my life. To put this tale into perspective, Im a 28 year old, generally healthy, generally active male but I spend all day sitting at a desk.I was suffering from sciatic pain on and off for weeks and then one Friday night it got unbearable. And when I say unbearable, I mean it hurt a lot to sit, stand, and lay down. That doesnt leave a whole lot of positions. I barely slept Friday night and when things werent better Saturday night I emailed Dr. Mike (3 times) in the middle of the night and he agreed to see me for an emergency visit on Sunday (when he wasnt even open). I had seen multiple orthopedic doctors who, to their credit, had not tried to send me to surgery but had also not been able to help me. But when Sunday morning rolled around, I genuinely believed I would be getting back surgery within the week because I was not sleeping and was in unbearable pain at all times of the day and night.Things were so bad my wife had to put my shoes on when we were trying to leave the house. I limped into Dr. Mikes office, we talked for a minute so he could understand my pain and determine a solution, and then he got me on the table. He did a little loosening of my muscles with various techniques and then he adjusted me. When I left his office, I honestly didnt feel much better than I did when I walked in, but the key difference was I was able to sit and lay down, not pain free, but in significantly reduced pain that basically allowed me to begin healing. Each day leading up to this day, I kept thinking Well when I wake up tomorrow, I will be a little better. I will have started healing. But each day was worse than the day before. After seeing Dr. Mike, each day has been better than the last. I’m still not the old me (young me?) but Dr. Mike saved me from doing something very, very dumb.

After talking with Dr Mike about a nerve pain that was bothering my lower back I was very impressed with his knowledge. Then set up a appointment to see him and great experience, office is really nice and his ability to correct the problem I one visit but to have post maintenance beyond the exam. His focus is helping people. It is obvious that he loves what he does.I hurt my back on a Saturday afternoon at a competition and started frantically calling around chiropractor offices. Most were closed and just had a voicemail option. I received a return call back from Dr. Mike instantly. He was the only person to call me back. I was in extreme pain and he kindly talked me through it over the phone as well as immediate things I could do to decrease the pain. He had never met or seen me before and he did not care - his priority was helping me decrease the pain and then to help me fix the issue. His office was under construction on Saturday and instead of just saying sorry I cant help, he picked up his supplies and came to my house to do an on-site visit. Before he had come over, I could not take a step up my stairs, as the pain was miserable. By the time he left, I could do jumping jacks if I wanted. He followed up his visit with several emails in the following days to check in me and answer any questions. He took time out of his weekend several times to help me, and I am very grateful.I had this same injury 8 months ago and it took doctors 2-3 months to get me back to new. Here I am two days after seeing Dr. Mike and I am almost at 100%. I am so grateful and will always go to Dr. Mike from here on out. Dont mess around. Nothing helped rid the migraines except for Cate and Dr. Mike. They are the friendliest people and I would recommend everyone and anyone to see them. Before going to the doctor where they give you pills, check Oakwood out! You wont be disappointed!!

Oakwood Chiropractic is the best! Ive been to Mike for chiropractic treatments, and Ive also been to Rachel and Russ for massages. Scheduling is fairly easy, they are quick to respond to emails, and the prices are reasonable (especially considering that they take FSA/HSA). They have never tried to pressure me into additional services of any kind, they treat everyone well, and their services are the best. I will definitely keep coming here!

One morning I woke up with a slight pain on my upper back which slowly became severe the same day. It stayed with the same intensity for two months and I was not able to even cook for myself. I was no longer able to sit and speak with my friends. Had to be on bed most of the time. I finally did a research and based on reviews I booked an appointment with Dr.Mike. believe me or not, with the stretches, electric stimulations, massage and adjustments, in a month I am going back to office now. I sit for long hours and happily sleep in the night without pain. He taught me not only to sit out the pain but also gave me tricks to drive away the pain. This was my first time going to a chiropractor and it was an all over great experience! Dr.Mike explained everything as he was going, and was very laid back. He helped target my pain, and treated according to my injury. Not saying my pain is 100% gone, because it takes time to heal, but there is a huge reduction in pain. Im very happy with my visit and will continue to visit. I cant wait to try out the spa!!

My experience at Oakwood Chiropractic is outstanding and everything I would hope for. Dr. Mike is a true professional. He listens carefully, examines and then anatomically diagnoses the issue. Dr. Mike told me I should be feeling better after one or two appointments and if that is not the case, then he is not treating the issue right. I greatly appreciated his honesty and this is such a welcomed response compared to being told after a few minutes of examination at different place that I would need to purchase 12 session treatment plan and then being guilted for my refusal. Dr. Mike’s care is second-to-none and I wholeheartedly recommend Oakwood Chiropratic & Day Spa.

I went to Oakwood to get a massage and adjustment. The massage room had a nice elegant vibe with soothing music and Dr. Mike is extremely gentle with his hands when giving the adjustment. I was extremely pleased with my first visit to Oakwood! I would definitely recommend it

Dr. Mike is the best. I had a significant problem with my lower back and pain going down my leg all the way to my knee. He sat and talked with me to review all of my symptoms, how long this was going on, if there were any thing that made my symptoms better or worse. He then examined my back and leg to understand exactly where my pain was coming from. After my treatment and each treatment after that I felt so much better. He really took his time and listened to everything I was saying. He truly has the experience and the understanding to help alleviate your problem.

Dr Mike is the man, he realigns me regularly, and has used the cupping and scraping method with me also. He has taken away my back pain and increased my mobility. Working with him has made me feel 10 years younger and I can see a definite improvement in my workouts. I highly recommend Oakwood Chiropractic!

When I first went about seven months ago I was in severe back pain for pinched nerves in lower back. I was very close to getting surgery to remove bone hitting nerve root. Dr. Mike was able to see me the day I called. After only a few sessions the horrible pain that had lasted a year started to fade. I have a crazy work schedule and he always makes time to get me in. I highly recommend going here for anything that is hurting you!!
