This place was amazing! I came in with my autistic daughter, who was very excited to be there. This was her first time ever in a nail salon. She walked around the salon ( which was very clean) many times laughing out of excitement. Although she decides to not get her nails painted the staff made her feel very welcome and attempted to make her comfortable! This was very appreciated as there are not many places in general that are inclusive for those with disabilities! Thank you we will be coming back!

This is a wonderful salon. My nails were terrible after our stay at home order. Lisa rejuvenated my nails and did a wonderful skilled French white tip treatment. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Amazing service! I’ve been going here for years and not only is it convenient but they do an excellent job. Let them know what you want and they ask questions along the way to make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for! Lisa sets great prices that’s usually a few dollars less than other nail salons. The salon was large, very pretty and clean. I went in for a haircut but they do nails and brows as well. Kate was fantastic and so sweet! She took me right away as a walk-in and gave me exactly the hairstyle I was wanting! I highly recommend her and will definitely be back!

Katie did such a great job doing a color correction on an at home bleach fail. She really listened to me and asked me to text her pictures the day before my appointment to have the best plan to color correct and protect my hair. Great price for the amazing service I received, would recommend if you in her area.

Decided to take a chance and scheduled a hair cut today with Elizabeth for the first time. Shes an awesome stylist and definitely asks questions so you walk out of there getting exactly what you wanted. Absolutely fantastic and Ill be going back AND recommending her to everyone.

5 stars! This was my favorite nail salon that I have ever been to! The people were so friendly and helpful when I told them that it was my first time getting acrylic nails. The woman who did my nails was very kind and was constantly asking me if my nails looked like I wanted them to (ie. length, shape, top coat) and by the end, they looked even better than I expected! I would definitely go again!

The atmosphere here is just great! Everyone is very polite and joyful, and the work is done beautifully! I cant believe there are comments about how Lisa is rude, because while I was there she was extremely polite and made very friendly conversations that I enjoyed. She tries to make time for all walk-ins, and yet still have time to do every other appointment made. The employees here are also very kind and helpful, making this my #1 Nail Salon to go to!

I have been going to the Spa for 5 years.I met the owner, Lisa 2 weeks after I moved to Raleigh. I have gone for services every 2 weeks since then. The staff is professional, the prices reasonable and the atmosphere warm and friendly. The premises are always clean and neat and hygiene a priority. My family loves the Spa and I often take my grandchildren there for manicures and pedicures. I recommend the Spa and especially Lisa and Holly to everyone.

Ive been coming to this salon for a year now, and I absolutely love it! Lisa and her entire team all do a great job. The staff pays attention to details that would often be overlooked in other salons. Ladies day out. Four of us enjoyed pedicures and chair massages. We were offered red wine, but most of us preferred white, so we declined. The prices were reasonable, but the service and organization left us wanting.

I’ve been seeing Lisa for over 7 years and followed her from a previous place to this Salon. She is very caring and I trust her to take good care of my feet with a spa pedicure and waxing services. I’ve always been completely satisfied with the service by Lisa and all employees. They are friendly, pay close attention to detail and provide me with a get-away as a full time business lady and mother of 4. If you are looking to build a long term relationship, this is the place to go - She keeps up with my family and we talk about all sorts of things while she is doing my pedicure. She goes beyond the call of duty each and every time. I value that in a salon!

This salon ruined my hair.I’ve been taking extreme care of my hair for 15 years; it is very long (lower back) and very healthy. I recently moved to the area and my usual stylist was not available so I tried this salon for a simple root touch up prior to a work event. They turned my hair pumpkin orange and blunt cut my hair for a “face frame.”The owner and stylists were so unprofessional and thought going to cvs to get color spray would be an appropriate fix—This should speak to the level of experience. It was a scene and horribly embarrassing.I had to leave work the next day to see my usual stylist to try to fix this disaster. I also consulted with my old stylist from my previous state where I moved from. My current and old stylist were absolutely shocked.It took 7 hours and hundreds of dollars to get my hair back to a normal color. The cut was not able to be fixed, it was deemed that the best way to fix it would be to let it grow out and then try to shape it in.North Raleigh Salon and Spa was texting/calling me and threatening to sue me for writing a bad review on Yelp. They also contacted the salon that fixed my hair and tried to blame them and not reimburse me. They also gave out my personal contact information and had other employees there text me. It became a harassment issue and almost needed to resort to legalities. I never got reimbursed due to this constant harassment.3 MONTHS LATER — My hair is still so damaged and unfortunately, I had to resort back to darker shades because my hair can not handle lighter processing.I just hope that no one else experiences this type of embarrassment and disappointment. It will take years to get my hair back to a normal healthy state to accept blonde/lighter colors well.Please find another salon- 15 years of no heat, conditioning treatments, air drying, etc is ruined and could have been avoided, not to mention the mental stress they put me through- it’s not worth it.

I rarely leave reviews, but felt I must after reading the previous three.The first time I went to this establishment, it was with a Living Social that was about to run out for a half hour foot massage. I clearly was at the right place, but was puzzled by a different name on the door. The owner Lisa invited me in (they werent even open yet), and explained that she had recently purchased the business. There was no reason for her to honor my Living Social, but she did. She noticed my puffy ankles and explained the principles of lymphatic drainage massage while she gave me a marvelous foot and lower leg massage. Within two days all my ankle swelling was gone.She didnt have to be so nice, but she was. I never expected that level of expertise from a nail salon, but received it. This is now my one and only nail salon. She earned my loyalty forever.

I had my hair cut and styled by Britney today..this was also to correct a bad haircut in April. I was very anxious about trying someone new again..well she not only fixed my cut but gave me the best haircut and styling that I have had in years! Britney is a genuine sweetheart and so talented at her craft. She truly cares about your happiness..a professional!

Had a basic pedicure done, for the price there are other salons that offer many more color choices and perform a much nicer pedicure.

I am regular customer because of the quality service provided. They are thorough and professional.Highly recommend.

Lisa and her staff do an excellent job! My gel tips last at least two and a half weeks and still look great. I dont trust anyone else with my nails.

They have new staff there and I dont like them. They are not very warm. The main owner rushes through your nails because she wont turn away an incoming customer. They overbooked themselves and my friend waited an hour and a half for her nails to get done and eventually we left. My nails looked awful. They were sloppy and I was rushed. They need better management, staff, and scheduling. I will not be going back.

Completely disagree with the negative comments on here. The place is clean and tidy, the lady who did my pedicure took her time and did not rush even though it was near closing time. She didnt give me a hard time when I wanted to change the colors.

I love North Raleigh Spa & Salon. I go to Holly every 2 weeks for gel nails and eyebrow wax. Ive been going to her for a year and have never had a bad experience.

WORST PLACE EVER!! I live in Bedford and was gifted a massage from my friend. Called 2 months in a row and was told somebody would call me back....no call. I finally drove there after work on my way home and was told that I must not have called because there was no message! I showed her my call history on my cell phone!!! She then told me that I shouldnt get my massage there because I am pregnant and their massage lady is TERRIBLE with pregnancy massage. I think my mouth fell open. She said that the masseuse might hurt me or the baby......SERIOUSLY! I asked for my friends money back and she told me no, that somebody else could use it, just not me...you know, the pregnant lady who needs a massage! WORST SERVICE EVER AND I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!!!!!!

I got a pedicure here yesterday and a blow-out today. Both services were excellent in terms of customer service, quality, and affordability. I am visiting family in the area and will certainly return to the salon when Im back in town.

I used to work at north Raleigh spa and salon. I left when I found out she had unlicensed techs in the shop. She also reuses all files, buffers, and pumice of which is not sanitized between people. She also uses mma acrylic liquid in the shop. Reuses paraffin, meaning...when paraffin is removed from a customer, she saves the used paraffin and puts it back in the heater to use again. Last I checked, thats gross. She does not sanitize the disposable flip flops...well really u re not supposed to sanitize them, hence disposable. This salon has the highest rate of warts on peoples feet that I have ever seen in the 20 years I have been doing nails. I worked there for 7 months before I realized what was happening. I could go on and on about the things I found out...but I wont. I think the things I listed above are quite enough.

Lisa, the manager of this salon, is very rude. She takes walkins before scheduled appointments so as not to turn anyone away. Also I was there for a pedicure and waxing yesterday. I just sat down at the nail dryer after my pedicure, was only there for one minute, when Lisa came over and stated You dont need to do that and guided me over to the waxing room because she had to leave soon. Today I noticed a gash mark in my nail from apparent lack of drying. I am not going to return for the repair because the place runs like a mill. There is no customer service and I feel stressed every time Ive been there. There are so many salons in the area I cant believe I stuck it out for so long. The employees dont seem happy there either. Nobody even cracks a smile.

Their service was terrible because when I went there I thought I would have a great experience because it was inside of a nice neighborhood but when I got there the lady who did my nails Told me when I was about to get my nails cut told me “NO TO LONG “ and right then and there she cut my nails the way she wanted them to be cut like I was some kind of little kid or something1-15-19 is the day I got my nails doneToday is 1-17-19 and Two of my nails fell off alreadyAlso I wanted My nails to be in a coffin shape so I had to pay extra five dollars to get it which wasn’t a problem for me but she didn’t shape Them right and she spent about an hour trying to shape them But they are still in a long square shape and I payed 40$ for my nails and the only thing I got was a regular polish full set and the shape so I will never be back againAlso I went back and told them I needed to get my nails fixed so she fixed them and put back on the 2 that broke then the next day I woke up and my one of my nails broke and I had something very important to do tomorrow but I guess I will have to cancel or just go with my broken nail (NOT A GOOD LOOK!!!)

Lisa, the Manager is very rude. I bought a living social for a massage for this salon but when I called the number, Lisa answered North Raleigh Salon. I questioned why the different name and she said she had to change it back in May. I explained to her that I had lost the certificate and she laughed at me stating Ill have to contact Living Social about it. She didnt speak English well, so I explained to her again the situation, and she laughed saying that they can walk me through how to print the certificate. I told her I know how to print and she wasnt listening and asked if she had any records of my perchase. She said no and hung up. Will not recommend this place or the North Raleigh Salon.

Rip off joint. Added $8 to price of a pedicure because they said it was special polish. Didnt mention that til afterwards. Polish didnt look special. Wasnt even a good pedicures. Avoid this place.
