I have been going to Impressions Salon for several years and Yui is absolutely the best. She cuts, colors and does my Brazilian blowouts and everything is perfectly done. I honestly cant imagine going anywhere else!

I have been going to this Salon for a good 4 years and they are great!

Ashley is a great stylist and colorist. Shes done my color/cut 4 times now and Im happy with the results. Prices are reasonable, especially if you go during color week (4 times per year they give 20% off color services and products). Very pleased with Impressions.

Best salon I have been to...highlights done elsewhere just dont compare! Ashley was so efficient and made my hair look amazing, leaving me feeling pretty when I left! I would highly recommend her if you want a perfect halo, as well as this salon and their staff overall.

I went here last minute to get my eyebrows waxed and my mother-in-law needed her nails done before my wedding. Not only did they work us in but they were very nice. It is a beautiful and clean salon and the staff is professional and friendly. I will return!

I was in need of a color, cut, style and deep conditioning but new to Raleigh and had no stylist. I made an appointment at Impressions. April took excellent care of me! She did such a good job that the other stylists and customers really noticed too! I had begun to get a kind of cold shoulder feeling when I first arrived. But Aprils expertise, her upbeat and professional personal really turned it around.

Marisol is amazing! I get two haircuts a year, and she made my hair look fantastic with very little product. Definitely going back!

The reviews for this place were pretty good so I figured it would be safe to give it a shot. I was very wrong. The woman who did my nails RUSHED through my pedicure and manicure. My pedicure looks terrible, it is uneven and there is polish on my toes. When she was doing my manicure she cut my cuticles unevenly and cut some parts too close so it hurt. She also never said a word to me which is typically nice but this place has no tvs or anything for you to look at while getting your manicure. Also, unlike most places in the area, they do not offer you anything to drink. It also smelled horrible, not in that acetone way but in a septic system leak way. I would not suggest getting your nails done here.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. This was my first time coming and will definitely plan to return.

I came in for a pedicure and an acrylic fill in. Mimi did my pedicure which was absolutely AMAZING. The fill in on the other hand was done by someone named B, and my nails look horrible. They are misshaped, they have bubbles, and you can see the line (nail) that was there before the fill in underneath. Horrible. I also didnt see one cosmetology license in sight for the woman that did my nails. Did she know how to do nails....yes. Does she know how to do them well, no.

Nice facility and nail tech

I will start by saying the receptioist on the hair salon side was extremely pleasant and gave exceptional customer service. I only went to this salon because they had a Groupon offer. I feel as though once my nail tech knew I had a Groupon she intentionally rushed me through my manicure pedicure. There was two people there before me but somehow I was done before both if them. One was a man who got no polish. Huh?!?! I have no complaints with the pedicure other than being rushed. During the manicure first thing she cut too much of my cuticle and drew blood. My nails were cut and filed poorly which left them a bit jagged and uneven. I went home and filed off the sharp edges myself. I got gel polish and when she pulled out the uv light it was sticky and smelled slightly of vomit. It looked like it had NEVER been clean. I mentioned this to her and she took out a cotton ball and wiped the inside only down with what I assume was alcohol. After I was done I went to check out and noticed that the paint on my thumb nails where very patchy and almost translucent towards the nail bed. I went back and she put on another coat and told me that I did not put my nails completely understand the light so it did not dry properly. Ok. Whatever. Just wanted it fixed. After that I noticed that she did not put a solid coat of the top coat on so there was a noticable dent in the nail. Again I asked her to fix it. She was quite irritated with me by that point. After the second supposed fix I still have a very poor paint job on my thumbs and small divits in the top coat. She also told me twice that you can leave know Not happy and wont be back.

Friendly staff in the upscale boutique salon and yes, for men as well as women!
