I frequent this Ulta and had a wonderful experience today. Felicia helped me pick the perfect foundation (Lancome) for my wedding makeup. Thank you, Felicia! Crystal was super friendly at the register. Will be returning.

Greeted at the door. Asked for the product I wanted and was led straight to it. Austin introduced himself and was available to answer my many product questions. Cashier was very pleasant too. I will be back!

!!!BAD EXPERIENCE!!!Ever since they changed personal the service is horrible. I walked in looking for body oil, not being able to find it myself i approached a group of 3 workers (white to specify) looked at the as they stand around talking, all 3 made eye contact with me and as im about to speak all 3 turned around and walked away. Now as a Hispanic female i felt discriminated and upset.

This store carries smith and cult, jackelyn beauty and a bigger selection of colour pop. Organized and lots of staff to help you shop if you need it. Never had a bad experience at Ulta this location is just as good as the other ones.

Good service and most part products. Be great if had better sales or discounts.

Ok so the store its self is good. Store is clean, staff helpful. They have a variety of things. But buyer be aware... Prices of some things have gone up. I normally buy an aveeno face scrub today at ulta is was $11.49 the same one and size at target was $6.79 almost a $5 dollar price difference!! I noticed some other things with a different price!

The employees and customer service at this location absolutely suck. Save yourself some headache and self-respect and drive to another Ulta. The owner and management won’t respond, they know that their store is under performing. Even if they do it will be nothing but a shallow sorry with no real resolve.

The associates that work on the floor and at the front counter have always been helpful. However, I requested a wrap and silk press from the salon which was 65 dollars. When Michelle called to confirm she was very polite but informed me if I wanted a trim I would have to pay an additional 55 dollars. She informed me that the trimming the ends of the hair was considered a Full haircut and came with a wash and blow out. I asked her how does that work since the Silk press I requested already comes with that. Apparently, the guest just gets charged double. Never in my life I have I been charged for a full haircut when I am only getting the dead and dry ends of my hair clipped. Nor have I ever had to pay for a service twice and been told it’s basically policy to do so. At most that ADD ON service should be 15-30. I was so shocked. This experience changed how I view Ulta. I’d rather go somewhere that doesn’t take advantage of the customer and charge them for the same service twice ( ie charging again for wash and blow dry when the style I’m paying for already includes that).

I wish I could give 0 stars. My favorite brow lady left so I went and got them done in the salon. She took basically half of my eyebrow off and made them thin as pencil lines after I clearly told her I just wanted a clean up and “not too thin”. I did not pay a single cent for this and she says “don’t tell nobody”. Worst experience ever, now crying in the car.

Curbside pickup horrible. I recieved message at 11:30 items were ready for pickup. I arrived around 1:30 pulled into curbside parking and checked in. An employee came out with another persons order. She asked my name and said it was at the counter she would be right back out. 22 minutes later I had to call the store and ask why I was STILL waiting. No apology or even concern, just that theyd be right out. Another 7 minutes I recieved my order. I could have went in shopped, and checked out quicker than this supposed convenience was.

Christmas shopping for two teenagers and this seems like the place. Lots of stocking stuffers that are pretty generic for a mom and dad who dont know makeup or other products too well.Lots of friendly staff. Not sure if this is the usual or just for season but it was a welcome thing.Only knock was the long line. Never knew this place was so big and there was a line. Not that it was very long and they had every register stocked but a line.

SALON REVIEW: I needed a quick, last minute trim over the weekend. I booked with ALLIE online who promptly called me to confirm my appointment. On that call, I asked if she happened to have anything sooner than the time I booked and she gladly fit me in. She was kind, professional and best of all listened to exactly what I wanted. She did a great job on the cut and was sure to explain everything every step of the way which my detail oriented heart truly appreciated.

A pretty standard Ulta. In a good location that is growing. I’ve been here a couple of times when in town. Recently stopped by to have my brows done and my favorite wasn’t there. I felt as if I was standing around waiting for someone to assist me. Good thing for the power of social media as I was finally able to track down where she moved to. LaQu Beauty Studios. She was the main reason I would frequent this location but now I’ll have to go to her new studios. Ulta lost a good one in Tasha. Very professional and attentive to her clients needs.

I liked shopping at this location cuz they have everything especially the Ordinary brand, but lately the associates have been slacking off like BIG time. Today I went to return and exchange, i didn’t know where the line started since everybody is bunched up in the middle but I asked another customer and she pointed it was on the back wall by the Ulta Brand. Luckily I was near the front . But then a few mins later a hugeeee line was from until half of the store towards the back where the prestige hair care is ! And the customer I previously asked said to the employees, “Y’all there’s a huge line and your associates are worried about what time they are leaving?” She was right cuz the line was long, the associates are not even MOVING with a purpose to try to get the line down and literally NOBODY is social distancing in the line. The associates are taking their sweet time when it takes forever to check out a couple of items only??? I was just nearby at the time but now I learn my lesson to NEVER shop at this location when y’all act like you too good for anything.

Hairdresser was late and I received text for a different time so got confused and decided to leave store to come back at designated time. Found out that appt got canceled. After much waiting to talk to whomever why my appt got canceled finally spoke to hairdresser. I explained the confusion and was begging to accommodate my girls haircut for their birthday, explained how we live far away and was actually at least 30 min early for the appt. The hairdresser obviously didnt care. No surprise there. Not happy how our situation was handled. First of all, she was not professional for arriving late. No no no. 2nd, we were just next store and we still have 30 min left for booked appt. She still have 1.5 H left until her next appt. Cant she cut a simple haircut in 1.5 H? Ruined my birthday gift for my teens and utterly disappointed them. Thanks a lot for nothing!

They are always super busy. Great team. The manager is very nice and responsive to customers. Ive been in there when people were being just plain rude to the staff, and they always handle customer issues with Grace. Good job!

Love this store. I had never been to an Ulta before today and it had everything you could imagine for skin care and beauty.

Had my bridal hair and make up done here this past Sat and loved it!Heather is an absolutely amazing hair stylist!! She did a beautiful up-do for me, exactly what I was looking for and even better. I showed her a couple photos, described I need the hair to fit two bridal dresses (one silver white wedding gown and one red traditional dress). She picked out tools in advance, understanding I’d be under time crunch on the wedding day, did one look first per a photo I showed, and when I asked for modifications she was extremely quick to understand what I want (more than what I can describe w words), re-opened the up-do to change, and finished w perfection. She was very patient and efficient, the change took her longer time but she didn’t mind at all, and was 100% dedicated and wanted the bride (in this case lucky me) to be completely happy and satisfied w the look.Jasmine my make up artist is great too. Understanding my booking w her is too close to my wedding time, she called an earlier client (also a friend of hers) and managed to switch appointments to help me out. I am truly grateful for that. The soft dewey look came out beautiful, and stayed well all night. I don’t do make up at all normally and it looked and more importantly felt natural.Highly recommend both to new brides and other ladies!

I always have a good experience when I come here. The employees are very helpful and are able to answer any questions you have. I appreciate this store because it has something for everyone and they almost always have a sale and/or discount going on. They sell drugstore as well as high end products. You can purchase anything from skincare to makeup to hair care. Its easy to see this place as a one stop shop. Also you can make appointments here to get your hair and makeup done. They do take walk-in but its always better to make an appointment.

This store is ok. I would rather purchase online most of the time unless it’s something I need right away. In their app it says they have something and when you go to the store and ask for help (because none was offered) they still can’t help you find it because customers leave the products a mess. I went in there a couple of weeks ago and had two coupons. One was 20% off a whole purchase and one was $5 off $15. I was told I could use both. I used the 20% on about 8 things and then tried to use the $5 off on one thing and it didn’t work. I said that’s fine just use the 20% off again and the girl checking me out said it could only be used one time and didn’t try to help me otherwise so I left the item there. Customer service is not the best at this location and you can tell they couldn’t care less. Most of the time the employees out on the floor are fine but the ones behind the register always seem like they hate their life.

Cam was amazing for us today! She made our trip better and fruitful. The first trip with my daughter and wife was dreadful as the argued the whole time. When I went with our daughter I got her to actually ask for help and Cam was helpful, approachable, and amazing. Her knowledge and and explanation was super helpful. I would recommend her for everyone!

They never have the products they show on line, they dont do afterpay either in store and the attention is disastrous.

Ive been coming to this Ulta Beauty salon for nearly three years now, and I just love my stylist, Jasmine! She always makes my hair look top notch. I joke sometimes that Ive never trusted anyone so much, because I tell her okay, this is what I think I want, but you know what looks good with my face, so just go for it. The results have been consistently stunning, and weve been all over the map with cuts and color. When a stylist is actually honest with you about whether or not you can pull off bangs, you know youve found a keeper! The staff is also fun and friendly. Highly recommend!

I was thoroughly pleased with my first service at this ulta hair salon. I was a walk-in and they accommodated me even with a bit of a time crunch between there booked appointments. I myself used to be a hairstylist and was a bit nervous letting someone else whom I didnt know cut my hair. Since moving to NC from out of state I hadn’t found a hairstylist yet and I had to start somewhere. I found out Laura, the sweet lady who cut my hair, is a very seasoned stylist and she gave me a beautiful cut and didn’t make me feel like a rushed in appointment at all. The staff I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Coming from someone who has worked behind the chair in the past... I was impressed by this salon, it’s professionalism was on point... and I personally really enjoyed my stylist! I plan to go back when I need hair help! Oh, and the price was very reasonable too! Which is always nice! 😉

Great experience, even better staff. I accidentally purchased the wrong color foundation & there was no difficulty at all swapping it out even though I lost my receipt. I brought my toddler son with me & the staff was playful with him. My favorite part about my visit was one of their artist named Alexis. She was soooo sweet & very helpful! Will definitely be back to see her. The Cary store could learn a thing or 2 from this location because they are on point!

I recently made this my hair care “home” about 3-4 months ago and I fell in love with Jasmine! I not only love how Jasmine has transformed my hair but I enjoy my visits to see her because of her spunky personality and sweet, honest nature. Unlike some experiences I have had in the past, it’s not a chore for me to get my hair done, it’s actually fun and exciting- the way it should be! I frequent this location and have been happy each and every time. I highly recommend Jasmine if you are looking for a new hair start or just in need of someone who focuses on technique and makes sure you are satisfied!

Brent is the BEST Manager ever, he is so patient, kind, friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to the different makeup products! Please if you are in the this store do ask for him, he is beyond the best Ive ever seen by far that listens to the customer needs. Thanks Brent. :)

Fair prices and big quantity

They had everything we were looking for. The setup is pretty chaotic- my wife had to walk around for an extra 40 minutes to make sure she didnt miss anything. Well played Ulta... well played.

I went during the busy Christmas rush. So it was very busy in parking area but inside the store employees were very helpful and approached you first and friendly. The line was long but that was expected, but got through it pretty fast!

I used to not like the staff here but it looks like they have changed a lot of the people who were rude. They have really nice displays of all the new products and Im happy they are adding new brands in large amounts. Now if they can actually keep stuff in stock it would be even better!

Come here with my girls. I really am not a big fan but my girls are. Sure does seem to be a big markup on cosmetics and hair care supplies...wow. I dont buy much that isnt on sale any more.

Great place for cosmetics AND hair salon. I mostly get my hair done here, (CC Coleman is awesome) but I am always greeted by several employees as I make my way through the store. Everyone I have encountered here has been genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. I typically get a few compliments on my hair, and when people ask me where I go and I say Ulta, most people seem surprised that they do hair. So if you need a trim or an updo, definitely check out the salon in the back.

Ulta near Triangle Town Center in Raleigh is about 30 minutes from my office in Cary, but I wouldnt go anywhere else to get my hair done! Jenna has been doing my hair for about a year now and she is wonderful. She listens and has so much knowledge and experience with hair that she has given me the best color and cut Ive had in years. And on top of it all, it is easy to manage and no fuss! I couldnt ask for anything better than Jenna!

I have been coming here to see C.C. since October of last year and she is AMAZING! Im funny about who touches my hair because Ive had bad experiences. I booked online, walked in and was treated like a special customer from the beginning. Even with hair as long as mine, she took her time and my hair has never looked better. And the coat is reasonable! The rest of the staff are all friendly and helpful. C.C. is a standout. She has done wonders with my hair and scalp and I have found my permanent stylist. Try Ulta Salon, just dont take my appointments lol.

I visited the store for the first time about eight weeks ago so this review is long overdue. My mother and I stopped by to get a few items and had the pleasure of meeting a very qualified and talented make up artist named Austyn. What can I say Austyn was the perfect combination of creativity, knowledge and talent. He did not over-sell us or rush us at any time. I enjoy visiting this store. Its a little out of the way for me, but Im always treated well here and the employees are always very attentive. The staff have given me wonderful product recommendations. I can always count on them for their honest insight about products Im interested in. It is almost always clean and organized here and the overall atmosphere is fun and friendly.

Ive been seeing Jasmine in the salon for over a year. She always takes her time with me and I never feel rushed. She always offers me her thoughts on how she feels what I want would actually end up looking and works with me and my crazy hair to make sure I end up leaving happy and satisfied. On top of that I feel like she also stays up to date on current trends and never makes me feel bad for asking a million questions about my hair. The rest of the salon staff always make me feel welcome and I feel like they work great together as a team-it really shows. 5 stars Jasmine, youre the best!

Ulta is my stress relief. Jadice is a great make up artist and represents the Mac brand well. Courtney always has a smile for me and Joffi is attentive and sweet. When I need a pick me up I head over to Ulta. The staff is great!

Came in to return a items and try a new foundation that really kept catching my eye. When I walked in I was told hello by the cashier but when I walked over to try and get some assistance with the foundation I wanted, the two employees were too busy talking to each other to even realize I was there. When they finally saw me I told them that I needed help and someone named Keisha came over to help me. She seemed extremely bothered that I disrupted her from her conversation. Once we got over to the foundation selection she didnt say anything at all to me. Swept 2 colors on my face, gave me a sample and kept it moving. Not once didnt she ask what kind of skin I had, or what coverage I wanted, no smile nothing! Overall she was uninviting and came off mean. This isnt the first time this has happened and it sucks because I love makeup and trying new things but I hate dealing with people who could care less about helping you when its there job to do so. Wont be returning to this location for a while, very disappointed in the costumer service.

Please dont waste your time or money at this store. Most of the employees and managers are rude and have absolutely no customer service skills. Today while shopping for a product, I needed assistance and asked the associate for help. I was looking at the different wax products and wanted to know which she would recommend. The Ulta employee suggested that I go to Sallys Beauty Supply. What!?#Are you kidding me?? I simply said thank you and left. As I walked out, many questions went through my mind such as did she really just tell me to take my money and business else where and is it because the color of my skin I was told to go to Sallys. No matter the reason, I will never purchase anything from this store.

Dont go to the Benefit Brow Bar here, Tasha does a terrible job and doesnt care about her clients. She didnt say more than 2 words to me during my entire service. I told her I wanted the color to match my hair color. After tinting and showing me I told her there was hardly a difference (my brows actually looked lighter) so I let her know so she says well I can go darker but there is no way to prevent it from being too dark. I allowed her to make them darker, she applied the dye and then walked around adjusting products while the dye stayed on my brows for like 3 minutes... they came out BLACK (like as if I took a sharpie to my brows). She showed me and at this point I was afraid to say anything more because she still had to wax my brows. After she waxed my brows I went to check out and as I was waiting in line I look in the mirror and see dye running down the sides of my face so I went back to her and when I asked her to fix it she said she probably couldnt get it off and that it will come off in the shower but she will try... how could someone in the beauty industry allow a person to leave like that, not to mention I wasnt going home to shower I was on my way to work. Long story short, I will never be returning to this Ulta, specifically the brow bar. The only saving grace was the manager I got to explain my troubles to and comped the visit....

I was in this store today. I usually buy my dermablend from here or at the one in Garner. My husband is disabled so I left him in the truck long enough for me to buy my dermablend and come right back. I was so very disappointed, because I know I stood in line waiting to cash out for at least 30 mins. There were other employees in the store tthat I dont understand why another cash register wasnt opened to move the line faster. Needless to say If I known it was going to take so long I would have never stopped at this location to get my dermablend. I felt really bad for my husband having to wait for me so long.

Got the absolute worst hair cut I’ve ever gotten here. I had extremely long hair that I’d been growing for longer than two years. I finally decided to get it TRIMMED, I wanted it to be done well, nothing crazy so I decided to pay more and choose Ulta. I paid 52 dollars to have my hair cut over FIVE inches. After explaining that I had a bad experience two years ago and that’s why I’ve waited so long to get it cut. The girl told me my hair was damaged and in her professional opinion I should get more cut. First of all, I didn’t ask for that opinion, second of all I was aware that I had split ends but I told her I wanted to keep my length. Once again she cut it so short that it’s just below my shoulders. I sat in my car and cried for two hours, I cried so hard that I gave myself a headache and made myself sick. I didn’t ask for a professional opinion and when I’m paying 50-60 dollas what I say and request is exactly what should happen. I will never go to Ulta again, to shop, or to get any kind of service done, ever. If I wanted someone to just take a pair of scissors and chop off all of my length and hair I would’ve either gone to great clips and save 40 dollars or asked my 13 year old brother to do it.

The stylist that did my hair was contemplating starting the low lights not at the root of my hair. I asked her- wouldn’t that mean it would be two different shades of brown if you started not from the root? (I have naturally light brown hair with blonde highlights- the brown color I chose was much darker than my root.) She goes oh yeah, you’re right. I wanted more of a darker feel to my hair- instead it turned out streaky- blond brown. Not well blended at all. Thank goodness I got Demi permanent. I’ve washed my hair three times in 2 days since I got it done. Don’t waste your money.

I’ve been seeing Zarhara for two years now for my eyebrows and she is simply amazing. She took my brows from zero to hero in no time. I had been seeing another lady who unfortunately butchered them to what I thought was beyond repair. My brows now have a great arch, filled in nicely and don’t need much product when doing a full face. Much much recommended for brows!!!

Went in with a sizable list of products that I wanted to purchase. The store was not busy, however no one offered to assist me. I went to the front desk to ask for some help where two cashiers were chatting and they told me that I would have to wait on the other girl who was helping a customer. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I became irritated and left. Hope those girls dont work off commission because I could have made their day. They were too busy giggling and such to help me and I wont be going back.

My daughter purchased an item realized she bought the wrong one and tried to return it an hour later. Even though the store clerk remembered her purchase we could not make the return without a receipt- my daughter opted for a receipt by email but it never came.

The staff here are always so helpful. I went in with the intent on a minor purchase and left with well over$100 worth of items. So knowledgeable and genuinely friendly

When I moved to NC, I had gone to the same hair stylist for 15 years. I was very weary to switch, but did my research and found Courtney at Ulta. To be honest, she far exceeded my expectations. She is beyond talented, and extremely sweet. She is super accommodating to my crazy schedule with a toddler as well. If you were life me and hesitant to go to a salon inside of a store, dont be. They every product under the sun, and talented hair stylists there to use them! Seriously, thank you Courtney!

I genuinely love Ulta and love shopping there. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to makeup and luxury and drugstore brands. However, when a new product comes out, I may ask for help. I asked for help buying the Urban Decay All-Nighter foundation. Got a color match, purchased, drove home. By the time I got home, the swatch on my arm had oxidized two shades darker so I immediately drove back to the store. The employees acted like they didnt believe me and they rolled their eyes when I said the word oxidize like there was no way I knew what that meant. When I went to return and get a lighter shade, the manager who did my return acted very blunt and almost made that I didnt keep the shade her employees picked.Im giving it 3 stars only because the store its self has a large selection and variety of brands to choose from.If youre having similar experiences, the Ulta in Garner is great and the employees are too.

I dont know how Ulta has gotten so much negative feedback. I have been there a few times. Each time I have gone, customer service was exceptional. So 5 stars for that.

I havent been here in a while, Ive been buying my products online. I stopped in today to get my DevaCurl gel. I took the two boys I take care of ages 3 1/2 & 1 1/2. This store is not kid friendly at all. There are no carts to put young ones in, probably because the isles are so squished together they wouldnt fit. I had to carry the youngest through the whole store, there was temptation after temptation after temptation. I guess if you have young children this is not the store for you.

Lots of sales help, i was asked 4 times if I needed help, when I did ask for a matching lip pencil to go with the lipstick the girl gave one to me, i told her what color lipstick I liked, she hands me the pencil, i pay for my items get home and its not the right color at all, its super dark red, i bought a pink lipstick ugh, was going out of town the next morning, so now I have to take it back. Bummer

Being a regular, degular girl, walking into Ulta can be a bit intimidating. Millions of products, by millions of brands and all of them serve a purpose. I was just looking for the Neutrogena Light Therapy Mask. I found it but not before I was greeted by a friendly employee asking if I needed any help. The place is clean! Super clean. Very organized! They have hair and makeup services in the back and the setup is very nice. I suggest giving yourself a lot of time to browse as all of the amazing products available deserve to be seen.

I love anything makeup. I will say this was my second time getting shade matched for foundation at this location, Both times they matched me incorrectly. This visit i was looking for hyaluronic acid in an oil formula. The lady in the skin care area informed me the Ultra Repair Cream by first aid beauty had HA in it. She read the labels and was like yes its right here. So i never looked for myself because i watched her read the ingredients. In any event she sold me on the entire line of products. Bought it mind you this was like $100 for 3 items!!! I got home and something said read the back, so i did and to my surprise the was no HA in the products at all!! I was so upset. I took everything back and was refunded. I certainly wont go to this location again! I actually like the hand cream so i putchased from Sephora.

Staff here is very pleasant and service is great. Go and check it. For Men and Women.Keep your skin looking younger!!

They are a bit pricey but have a good selection for all skin complexions.

I was shopping with my children 12/27 looking for a fun gift for my mom. My kids were testing some samples. One employee, a tall woman with a short hair started making comments about my children to her colleagues that were standing around not assisting customers. After I confronted her and told her I overheard what she said, she continued to make loud comments with a great deal of attitude. I will be making a complaint to corporate as well. This employee as well as the others she was engaging with did not exemplify any sort of customer service or professionalism.

People were rly nice and the service was great. They had really good options and they had plenty of things in stock

The people here are very nice and courteous every time I just stop by to say hello. Most of yall are complaining about irrelevant and minuet issues that are not really controllable in all cases by the staff. Just because somebody doesnt say hello, even if they probably did and youre just determined they dont care about your existence in the store so you block out what they say to you, doesnt mean you arent a valued customer. Stop being so anal about things.
