The personal care Providence Point administration is lacking in leadership, compassion, and knowledge.I am the daughter of a 97 year old lovely mother living in personal care. Today, My sweetheart mother was punitively, arbitrarily, and unequivocally denied an opportunity to see or visit with her vaccinated young adult granddaughter (and my niece.)This denied visitation follows after my mother was a year in covid isolation. After being denied visiting her beloved Granny, my niece was crying that she may never see her grandmother again. This “rule” issued by Jerry Parnell, Director of Nursing, is that none of her 27 grandchildren are permitted to visit my mom. I was directly told this by staff and personally witnessed its enforcement by the front desk. Why? Because earlier in the week my mom took a group photo in the courtyard with four of her grandchildren. No further grandchild visitation is the rule now because they knew, or should have known, only two visitors are allowed in the outside courtyard at once!Jerry Parnell should be concerned that many judges and resident families would also interpret Mr. Parnell’s vindictive discrimination as elder abuse.Lois A. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable .. these folks are great. From Helen in admissions, Jodie from social services, PT Kyle, OT Nick, nurses Tina, Angela & Tasha, aids Trish & Donna, they are all outstanding. My wife spent 17 days there after kneecap surgery and was well taken care of. As you can see there was quite a team assigned. Before she even arrived at the facility, Helen from admissions called me with the room #, social workers name & number and the nurses station number. Thank you to all !!

My mother resided there for 3 years. The administration was horrible. Care for long term care residents was sad. It was common to wait greater than 30 minutes to be taken to the restroom. Residents were encouraged to wear diapers for the convenience of the staff. I could go on and on but do hope the terrible administration that was there back in 2013 has all moved on. It is a beautiful facility but it ends there.

The people who live here are amazing, accomplished, and fun. The staff are kind, caring and accommodating. Whats not to like about leaving a spacious apartment with great views every morning to go down for a swim, an exercise class, a great, healthy meal, then down to the indoor parking lot to the car to start the day. Come home to happy hour in the lounge prior to a dinner...the toughest part might be trying to from 3-4 venues or going back to the beautiful home on the 5th floor overlooking Chartiers Valley.

👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽This place doesnt pay their employees well at all. You do the work but, your checks feels like you recieve pennys. The management is also very judgmental. All the employees there talk about how they cant wait to find a new job. Plus, there always short staff. You have to take the residents orders as if you were in a restaurant. Breakfast, lunch, and Dinner. Its too much for the pay you will receive....Other than that the residents are very nice and the environment is very clean and classy.I would apply somewhere else where I could actually make good money.

Went for an interview on a CNA position some months back. They told me on the phone three days before that they were hiring and to come in to fill out the application and interview. I drove an hour to get there and filled out the application that took about 45 minutes. the woman at the front desk gave my application to the DON, the DON stuck his head out of his office, looked at me, handed my application back to the woman and the woman walked back to me and told me that they already filled the position. He probably saw my gauges and tattoos and judged me on my appearance. Wouldnt be surprised
