My 84 year old mother had hip surgery recently and we contacted several agencies including the state to inquire about in-home care. We settled on Visiting Angels as they seemed to make things quite simple and we are very glad we did. They took such good care of mom and not only attended her personal needs but also did some light cleaning so she did not have worry about the house. The extra step that really makes them Angels is that mom so enjoyed the attendants company and I really feel like it made her recovery time faster. She said she felt like a friend was coming to visit with her each day. I would not hesitate to call them again should we need this type of assistance in the future. Visiting Angels has provided caregivers in my parents home for nearly two years. Each angel brought her unique style and caring to my 94 & 97 year old parents who wished to stay in their own home. We recently used Visiting Angels to care for our mother, bridging a gap between her becoming a widow and moving into an assisted living apartment. The Tiffany and her coordinators did a great job arranging care givers in a short time frame. The care givers Tarren and Huldah put our mom at ease, and she really enjoyed their company and the care they gave her.

Visiting Angel, Angie was a wonderful caregiver for my Father. She was very involved in looking after him. I only had to ask her things once and she would always do it for him. Need more like her!

Our oldest daughter has MS and had a set back a few months ago. When she was released from the hospital she needed care at home. Her husband worked full-time and her Sisters were busy with work and their families. My husband and I are over 70, no help there. No one knew what to do to help Chrissie. I called several home care providers. Visiting Angels were the most responsive with care the very next day, I cried so hard with thankfulness. They were the only ones who would lift the client on and off the bathroom facilities.So next day we had our angels meet with us. What an appropriate name. Chrissies husband could go to work and not worry to death that maybe Chrissie fell or could not get her own lunch. All companies wanted 3 hours minimum per visit, but Visiting Angels were willing for a small increase to split the 3 hours into 2 visits per day. This gave her assistance with all her needs.The Angels were all very nice professionals that had compassion and respect for our daughter. They even helped her do her exercises that her PT and OT wanted her to do.We will always be thankful for them and their service.A very grateful MomSandra Contis
