I have been a patient there and have been previously without any issues with the previous management. This year I went in after I was invited to come back. I told the office manager, after receiving the first quote for the services I needed, that I would only consider accepting services that would be covered within my insurance plan. Of course there has been NO SERVICE performed to me unless I had fully prepaid my portion of responsibility.Therefore, when I received a message that I owed them $681.37 (!!!!) it was a total surprise! I called my insurance company and it was explained to me that the dentist office had billed for procedures that went above and beyond my maximum benefits for the year!THIS IS A HUGE GROSS ERROR BY AN OFFICE MANAGER!!!!I was very very clear since the beginning that I would only want procedures that would be covered with my plan. That I would want to wait next year for more procedures if they would not be covered, and YET this oversight by the dentist office was made.This is INCOMPETENCE pure & simple and I will not be silent about this practice and will take legal action if needed.BE AWARE OF SHEREE! You may think you have paid your portion of copayment until months later you receive another HUGE BILL due to her incompetence! I have contacted the owner of the practice and will let them know.

I would not recommend this dentistry.I had an appointment scheduled for 12 PM and was not seen until 1:45 PM due to the location being short staffed. Walking back, the exam room was full of dust on the equipment and yellow grime where the dental tools laid. Upon seeing the dentist, Dr. Fehmi, had taken a look at my gums, where my wisdom tooth is, very briefly (about 5 seconds) and diagnosed an infection and I would have to be referred else where, then he immediately left the room. The dental assistant had to call him back in because I had questions surrounding this.All in all, I was referred to another place and was given a prescription for antibiotics. Upon dropping off my prescription, my pharmacy found that they could not fill it because the date listed in the prescription was July 16, 2020. Overall, this is grounds for dental negligence and as the dentist provided inadequate care with poor and delayed treatment.

Everything is awesome stuff Was Polite I went in with so much pain and they took care of everything I have no more pain I will recommend distances to anybody I was going to drive to Mexico in the morning but I came across this dental placeIt was the best choice ever

Very unhappy with Westwind and I will not bring my son Evan Lezama there again. When I made the appointment I wanted a cleaning, x-rays and exam for Evan. When we checked in I mentioned the cleaning, xrays and exam. He did not get a cleaning, no reason given, had the x-rays but sat in the chair for more that 30 minutes until a doctor walked by and said it looked like somebody forgot him. My opinion of Westwind was pre-ordained when we walked in and saw two of the 4 dirty chairs occupied by two people waiting for their appointment. I cancelled his next appointment a few days later.

Bad experience. Went for one tooth removal. Next morning he says three teeth. No explanation. He didnt even introduce himself. No explanation of what he is going to do. Nothing. There was dirt on the walls. Holes in the furniture. I got up and walked out.I wont be going back.

The Doctor should stop flirting with the staff and focus on the patients and perhaps the wait would not be so long and the patient will receive better service. In addition, maybe listen and pretend you care about your patients and not just the ones that flirt with you. We miss Dr. Fehmi in the office everyone was on their toes then, but he cannot be everywhere at once; therefore he should be able to trust the staff he has onsite to keep up his reputation.

I am truly grateful that I was sent too this place , my fear of dentist is so bad from my past experience. I loved that they were so kind and welcoming 😊 I felt like all the attention was just for me thats a plus .. thank you so much 💓

Went in for a cleaning and extraction, hygenist Diue was great!!Dr. Zargar did a great job, felt no pain and was fast. The entire staff was welcoming and very nice.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This place is a scam. I paid $510 for dentures a year ago. The only reason I paid was because they told me they would pull my teeth. They waited until after I paid to say oh we cant help you, you need to find an oral surgeon. It took me a year to find one who took my insurance. Before having my teeth pulled I called westwind for 4 weeks straight to be told I wasnt allowed to pick up my dentures for liability purposes. After telling my oral surgeon this they called westwind and westwind tried calling me saying I misunderstood and I could pick them up on the 5th week. After picking them up and getting my teeth pulled the dentures were way too big and definitely had to have been someone elses dentures. They refuse to make it right and told me that I would have to pay another $1,400 for dentures. Needless to say I found a better dentist in apache junction that quoted me 3 different prices for 3 different types of dentures WITH A WARRANTY of 1, 3 or 5 years and to top it off their max price is $1,000 and that is with a 5 year warranty. I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. This place is nothing, but a scam.

Very bad interaction and understanding presented from staff and 35th Ave facility. There has been numerous problems with this location since my daughter started having dental services done. There is always miscommunication on fees and billing. Most recent problem was that monthly payment was not taken out according to how I shoudl be billed each month for dental services given and arriving at appt, my daughtr was declined service becaus they could not charge the account. As I satted the payment arrangements were not set as I wanted for the 15th of each month, but istead on the 30th, to where they charge ont he 1st. Then to be told I signed up for the 30th of each month which was not true. I signed up tohave checking account debited each month for dental work. This has become a very unsufficien ongoign issue with this location. I have been overcharge dint he past and tool a month to resolve. There is no communication to speak with supervisors or anyoen when problems exist. Just very unprofessional and unclear on all they do.

Westwind is great. Their staff are wonderful; very nice and helpful. My experience there was fantastic, it was quick and clean. I was assisted by Dr. Zargar who did everything excellent and his very nice assistant Margarita.

Love this place the staff is awesome, and even though I dont like going to the dentist. I recommend this place. Thank you Doc for making this a much easier process for me. See you next year.

If you want to be part of a dental circus, this is the place! Even after setting up an appointment(3rd street location) for regular cleaning and reminding multiple times( both on phone and in person through spouse), they were insistent on doing only photographs during the appointment. Either they think folks have all the sweet time in the world for their professional photography or they have total disrespect for peoples time. Either ways, very unprofessional. They keep changing their own statements from saying regular cleaning will be done post xrays while you are seated in the waiting room to saying they can only do xrays while you are on the dental chair. They dont even read your prior xrays/documents ( in my case they insisted I had 2013 xrays and when I insisted on calling my previous providers, miraculously my xrays that were taken a year ago appeared). The General Manager is very curt and upon insisting I wanted to meet the doctor, flatly refused my request. She even started blaming me for setting up 1 hour (its them who decided on duration)for appointment, with 30 mins left on the dental chair. When I told her it was not my fault that I wasnt attended for first half hour while sitting on dental chair , she started quoting paperwork as reason. In reality, I had gone early and finished paperwork within the first 5 mins. Please do not go here unless you are looking for some additional drama in life.

This was a horrible experience! I go in and as I’m sitting in the chair, the assistant puts the paper bib on me and I asked her several questions. Her answer was always, @ I don’t know, I don’t work in this office”... ok.. So I’m looking around and the place is filthy. Even the chair I sat in! The bib for X-rays was very torn and black with filth around the collar. Everything was dusty! I got up and walked out! They were not touching my mouth! I will be filing a complaint!

I had an emergency, pain in my tooth during the Christmas Holidays. Westwind got me an appointment within an hour from my initial phone call. The doctors and Leslie did a great job with the treatment.

My experience at this office has always been pleasant. All staff is very kind and knowledgeable!! Dr Zargar is great and I had the pleasure of meeting Karolin today :) she is awesome, so helpful and caring! :)

Review after first visit: If I could do zero stars I would. Made an appointment for noon today... I came in early, filled out all the paperwork, and they did xrays.. Then the waiting started. 2.5 hours of waiting. No updates, no information of any kind. Finally someone came in with something for me to sign, and maybe now they’ll get started, right? Wrong, now they want to reschedule. I already paid these people, otherwise I’d absolutely go somewhere else to have the work done. I recommend you go literally anywhere that isn’t here.Edit after the whole process is over.The bad: Punctuality is really not their thing. In three visits, I’ve spent a little over seven hours waiting around for them to get to me.The good: The work they did seems to be good quality. If I could bypass the endless waiting around, I’d probably come back to have more work done in the future.The disclaimer: I wrote the first review with a skull splitting toothache I thought I was getting fixed that day. The frustration expressed was real, but it’s possible that expectation was erroneous.

My boyfriend’s and I first visit was amazing. The staff were great and friendly. You can tell that this whole office is like a family, they all work together to do what’s best for the patients. These people are so patient and kind and really care about your dental health and help you financially. If I could rate it 10 stars I would.

Hi.i know my insurance is not the best....i had to extractions done my first extraction was horiible, an upper right tooth was chipped in the prosses and ignored .....were is the ethics

Very incompetent when it comes to customer service. I came here to have a bonded retainer put back on. They had me revisit 3 times and on all 3 occasions I was not seen by the appointment time, but at least 30min to and hour later. Very evasive when it came to cost of work when first calling and the operations in the building when there. Make sure to call ahead of time to see if they can actually see you at the time they give you, otherwise you will be on a long wait. I was really disappointed with the all around visits. Not coming back to this location.

Love this place. Martha is so sweet was able to get my boys in for a visit right away and at a time that was convenient for me. They take their time and are very thorough and actually care about their patients. So happy to have my boys being taken care of by the best team.

Pros : Always take appts - probably cheaper if you have no insurance. Doctor Tran was to the point.Cons: Very casual and unprofessional with everything. Doctor juggling through rooms. Not very friendly. The front desk is super low energy. Charged extra to clients for taking extra Covid precautions even though we brought our mask.Dont book something too close to your visit here because you can expect delays and in some cases a true test of patience

The doctors were nice. It was the first time I went to the dentist. I was satisfied with the procedures. I had to get an extraction done, and I didn’t feel a thing. They were very clear about the pricing. Definitely recommend.

This place is a scam. They offer dental work for proof of five star reviews. Dental work is integral to health and not covered by standard insurances and many people in the area are very poor and unfortunately can’t afford it otherwise so it’s working very well. My husband took us here years ago after seeing their reviews and their claim of specializing in dealing with dental anxiety. I had dental anxiety which was made much worse from dealing with this place. They assured me they would go slow and have the laughing gas but neither of those proved true and the dentist was quite rough and impatient to hurry through my many cavities. I had a reaction to the Novocain when I’d never had one before. Afterward, both my husband and I had multiple fillings fall out. Each time they assured us they would redo them no charge and each time it showed they had tried to charge our insurance for the work again. And now, several years later, they are still harassing us to make checkup appointments. As if! We ask them not to contact us each time but they still call with a different name, Westwind Dental, Westwind Health, Westwind Clinic, etc... I regret ever hearing about this place! It’s brought me nothing but stress and grief. I hope I can warn anyone else not to make the same mistake we did.

Im speechless, (literally) but because of the comforting customer service and knowledge the entire staff expresses from top to bottom. I was so anxious upon arrival and fearful I was not going to be able to have my root canal, but Dr. Mercado was such the professional we were able to accomplish the goal. The whole staff is just super rude. They don’t even greet you. When i was going to fill out papers, the receptionist threw the paper at me. She also kept giving me dirty looks. Bad place & service!

It was my first time here and i have to say it surpassed my expectation. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and quickly given new patient paperwork to fill out. It was a pleasant surprise to be seen before my scheduled time. My overall experience was great, they were friendly and fast but at no point did I feel like they were compromising the quality of their work. My only suggestion would be to have a link sent via text message allowing new patients to fill their paper work out online to speed up the check in process. Thanks Westwind I’ll definitely be back!

Hello Everyone !Just wanted to say how glad I was to come here to Westwind dental. They hygienist is AMAZING. Like everyone else coming to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do, but coming here was definitely a great choice. The staff is very sweet and friendly which makes a big difference. The first dentist I saw here told me that I needed 2 crowns. They scheduled me 2 weeks later and unknown to me a different dentist was there and did the dental work for my 2 crowns. I was scheduled to come back in 2 weeks. Wow a different dentist to put my permanent crowns on and she went to put them on and said these are someone elses crowns. She said I want you to see another dentist( same company) That dentist was drilling alot and said that he had to redo all the workthe first dentist did, and then he said the 2 teeth should be extracted.I told this dental office that I dont want to be their patient any more. How do you go from 2 crowns to 2 extractions? They reimbursed me and my insurance the money we put out. I had to have the temporary crowns pulled off 3 times with this dental office and got no where. Thats why they reimbursed me and my insurance so fast. I am now getting my dental work completed at another dental office.This place is a circus,.they should be giving out free peanuts instead of free toothpaste.

I brought my 9 yo here. They did the cleaning and informed me that she needed 3 teeth extracted. I sign consent. They numb her up. Toward the end of the second tooth my daughter screamed because it hurt so bad. The dentist grabbed my daughters face and forced her to look at her. I would not recomend this place to anyone for their kids.

The people were so nice and friendly , they have a good deal on the $2 for exam and X-ray , my appointment was at 11:45 I got there early they took me back at 12 I got X-ray , I was left in the room until 1:17 until the doctor came In , no one checked on me before told me anything I just waited finally when he came in at 1:17 he told me what I already knew and then said I needed a crown said its going to take 1hr30mins told him I cant I have to pick up my daughter he then told me he can get me out before 2:30 so he left to go get everything ready I waited until 1:45pm !!!! And he didnt come back I finally went to the front told them Im leaving she said oh okay well its cost this and that heres your prescription NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!! I want my $2 back

Made an appointment via online service received confirmation via email with instructions to arrive one hour early. We arrive one hour early as instructed and the place is closed. No one answers their phones. This really sucks. We are dealing with an abscess that needs attention ASAP. We have now wasted 24hours believing we had an appointment.

I recently relocated from Tucson and had to go in as a walk in on Saturday morning on the 35th and Thomas location. The dental assistant and the dentist were absolutely amazing. I was in so much pain from an awful infection they both calmed me and my fiance down and gave us a general understanding of what to expect as Im terrified normally of dentist. Hands down the best experience in one of the worst times of my life I would recommend to everyone!

I am disappointed with this office. I make an appointment for a certain time and arrive to said appointment only to be stuck waiting 45 minutes after my original appointment time. I have been a patient at this practice for 15+ years. Will be switching dentists. I recommend you not come here unless you love wasting your time.

I went to the place know 35th Ave. They were nice and the doctor was nice. The reason for the one star is because this company is real quick to take almost $500.00 from me but is taking almost three months to give me my refund. My insurance company cut the check for them back in May and till today still no refund. I wouldnt recommend this place at all. Plus the attitude you get from the billing people is ridiculous! Nice and smiling to my face when you took the money but completely unprofessional when I ask where my refund is!!
