World class organization. Dedicated to improving community through gardening. Go to their flower show and you will be blown away. Support them financially. I know of no other organization that accomplishes so much in this arena.

The exhibits and vendors for the 2021 Flower Show are great, as always. The weather and temperature outdoors in FDR Park, not so much. High temperatures and humidity are combining to make it a very uncomfortable experience. Im sitting in the Garden District right now watching a number of patrons who are obviously having trouble with the heat. Heres hoping for better weather - or a return back to the Convention Center - next year!

Disappointing to see vendors be such a focus... felt like an art fair w a few cool installations around. Poor traffic flow, and vendors tents far overwhelmed the actual art. Hats off to the display artists....and vendors too, quite frankly, for their efforts, but this concept needs some rethinking.

The flower show has always been a source of enjoyment for me. I have attended the flower show for over 40 years, but am dismayed by the upcoming 2021 show, which will be in FDR park, in south phila., which is an hour one-way for me, and too much traveling in the heat of the summer. I thought that they would have had it in May, which is at least 10 degrees cooler and more comfortable. Also, I thought that it might be held, if big enough, in Rittenhouse, which would have kept it in center city.Unfortunately, because of these arrangements, for the first time, I not will be able to attend the flower show in four decades.Ms. L. We were attending classes on gardening with kids. Sally and Larry were wonderful instructors, as were the guest speakers. We learned so much and came home with even more resources. Our community garden looks so much better for it! We only wanted plants that produce food, but learned that by planting flowers with our vegetables its much prettier and attracts pollinators. We also learned to feed the soil well so that the ground can feed the plants and well then benefit from even better nutrition. The classes were so well organized and full of useful information. I give you a great big resounding Thank you!

Note: this building is the offices of the organization. Their great library is open business hours, but the building is not really a place to visit unless theres a public program happening.PHS the organization is awesome, and their programs make our city grreen and great!!

A thriving Horticultural Society that I have known since my college days at DVC. Have not been to this new building but will put it on my list next time I am in Philadelphia.

The Horticultural Society puts on wonderful programs for little or no money. Their newly renovated building is very nice inside and the staff are all very helpful.

The PHS scheduled a run Sunday morning, totally tying up traffic in the area. Our out-of-town visitors must have a very negative view of both our city and the Flower Show experience. As a member of PHS, I am ashamed and apologizing to our guests. The show itself was wonderful.
