PHMC is a great place to work. Very diverse, excellent benefits and great flexibility. The on-boarding process is a little lengthy, but once you get in, there are great opportunities. There is no perfect place to work but PHMC fits my life style.

I had two interviews with PHMC located 3300 Henry Ave that seemed to have went very well. After hearing nothing back I contacted the lady to inquire about the position. She replied thanking me for reaching out, and that her and her team was still looking to fill the position. She stated although I was a seasoned Therapist with a vast amount of clinical experience she have decided to pursue another candidate for this MST-PSB Therapist position. Unbelievable! I felt totally discriminated against. She called me a Seasonal Therapist with a vast amount of clinical experience. I’m sorry I thought that’s what this position required. Unbelievable!

Impossible to get a hold of anyone or to schedule an appointment

I found the practice manager Adam and Dr.Powell were very much interested in the well being of the patients. I was having a difficult time at one point and they were patient with me and helped me resolve the issues. Not at all made to feel like a bother. They addressed me with respect.

I wasted 2 months applying for a recruiting management position that internally did not exist. They posted it externally to gather resumes. However, was not posted on their website so that each candidate according to EEOC and state guidelines can be properly dispositioned. I was told after being prescreened and interviewed by VP of HR that she would have two runner ups write 1 year recruiting plan. Although I have never in over 15 years of recruiting asked to write recruiting strategy none less 1 entire year plan as a part of recruiting process. A function I always received Pay as an Consultant. Nonetheless she indicated two people would write the recruiting plan and the finalist would be offered an opportunity to come in for an interview. My recruiting plan , recommendations, and “3 rd interview” was stellar. She indicated she would be back in contact with me in a matter of 3 days and did not respond for 3 weeks. The position was never properly posted I don’t even think the position may have existed at all. It was a 2 month waste, my time and professionsl character was insulted and based on false information turned down other opportunities. But I’m return they received what other companies have paid me over 90 k for one year recruiting plan and free consultation as she so closely took notes asking me to explain my strategy line by line - Awful unethical experience

Worked for PHMC for 15 years at Phila Treatment Court. the first 10 years were great then administration changed new supervisor came in incompetent staff things went down hill. Not staff friendly as all would not recommend anyone work at phmc.

Eco friendly, clean and spacious. Easily accessible to public transportation

Nice office. Convenient to public transportation, but terrible for parking.

The employment process, a complete waste of time. Also I noticed some discrimination at this place too! Beware!!
