I have sent several emails about the rental assistance but cannot raise a response. The website tells you that the process normally takes about 45 days but it has been much longer than 45 days. They should at least acknowledge that it has been 45 days or longer. The people at 311 dont know anything more than you can read on the website. Beginning to feel as if my tenant is wasting time with this as I am not under any type of non eviction moratorium. Not sure if I should keep waiting.

Got plumbing work done. Had several issues with the contractor, Got Drains. Plumber got defensive when mistakes were pointed out. It took several emails to PHDC for him to correct the mistakes. Contractor put gouges in my front steps (was on my steps cutting/breaking ceramic tiles). To make a long story short, PHDC takes no responsibility for that even though they hired him. Contractor came once to repair the damage. It was not repaired. I have to seek legal help if I want him to repair the damage.

Well worth the wait! My roof is finally done! All thanks to a little patience..... & help from the cityMy plumbing is another story I don’t like the contractor they sent and I’m not going to put you on blast but trust me. This service ain’t free they put a lean on your house if you sell in five years.. but been waiting two years no plumbing? The city knows the conditions of the pipes and they see some of us need help and noting! I can’t finish working on my house until the plumbing get done. I’m very particular and want answers and followed all guidelines for the help. City stop paying these contractors that lie and really don’t do the work they put in the work order.

The people that work here act like its their funding that you are asking for! No thank you for poor customer service that were provided. Word of the wise its Government money!! Not your money... I called to see if I can get something done for my pipe the man who answered the phone was sooo argumentative about why I didn’t come last year I didn’t want to share my reason why and he kept asking just telling saying he is not yelling we gotta be adults and talk I mean he made me feel so bad my husband doesn’t even talk to me like that! He took my info and said I don’t qualify how when I did last year he even had the nerve to hang up on me I thought that was very rude he should not be working there!

The came to fix my house. The front of my house is leaning in worse becuase the ruined my foundation. Instead of giving me my full grant to do the work properly which was 17,500$ they gave me 11,of it hired drug addicts and my roof has a big dent in it. My sky light in my bathroom is leaking and theae people dont answer the phone. They put a stone wall in my yard that collects water it made my house crack at the seems. They are terrible and cheap and im getting a lawyer today. Worst place ever. They are obviously pocketimg money becuase i teied to contact supervisorsa bout the damages by sending emails and i was ignored even by them. This place ia stealing government funds.

I had waited 4 yrs before I got called 2yrs before the work got started now the roof is done my sky light is leaking instead I have black outs when I use the blow dryer in certain parts of the house Im thankful for the program but the contractors that PHDC provides has caused me money and problems and other situations I never had in the beginning lol...If I only had enough money it would have been done professionally and with excellence I pray this message finds the head person in charge!!! when I reported it they told me call the contractor this is worthless!!!
