Risky business

I worked for them for two years, and I must say very unprofessional. If I could give 0stars -100 thats how I would rate them. Smh the worst!!!!

I have private insurance therefore I should never have been referred to this God forsaken place. After 45 minute phone consult and $25 in Uber I get there to learn that just because I have UHC it was assumed I have it thru Medicaid. I was never asked or told that I have to actually mention that I have insurance thru my employer smdh The man at front desk seemed to take pleasure in telling me my insurance was Inactive when the fact is the only system they have access to is Medicare and Medicaid. Not only did I feel unsafe but I felt like I needed a shower when I left. Absolute wrong staff in the mental health profession. Very nasty and unprofessional. Even the location is seedy. I am back at square one more stressed than before. Mental health seems to be a joke to anyone that is not suffering from it. People dont realize or dont give a damn how their actions affect otjers.

Not a place of help for the mental. They should truly be shut down. There slogan should be were not good for helping just covering our asses!

Don’t work this company there are messy! Supervisors are unprofessional. No one wants to do their job on the office or knows anything.

Absolutely one of my worst jobs I had jealousy and competition by my coworkers and was harassed by my manager please do not work for this company it should be shut down you really need to be a strong person to work here the turnover is incredible

I use to work here so what Im sharing is based on my experience. Number one, there were too many old women and gossiping here 24/7....women and gossip dont mix. Number two, the lack of professionalism is truly found at this business establishment....a lot of the women and men there were married sleeping with each other, while talking about it on the job.....like really?? Who does that?? Number three, you always have to watch your back because you always have people who were willing to get you in trouble in any way possible and snitch on you for the most minor thing that wasnt even worth snitching on. Ardell Graham, Nancy DeAngelis and Marcia Lyde were the worst!! they treated me so mean for no apparent reason on a daily basis. There was also a lot of jealousy and competition going on there, which I have no idea why?? Also, it was a lot of heavy stealing happening too. My friend use to be a Residential Advisor out on the field and he told me that the workers were very unprofessional and the lack of communication was very weak. I started working there in July 2011 and left April 2012, which was the best decision I have ever made. I think the Horizon House, INC need to hire new staff because most of the staff were very unprofessional with poor communication skills and lack of socializing. Horizon House is like the zoo in the hood.

THIS PLACE IS BY FAR THE WORST PLACE IN THE USA!!HIGH TURNOVER!NO BONUSES NO RAISES ALL GOSSIP AND WILL FIGHT U TOOTH N NAIL FOR UNEMPLOYMENT.THEY STEAL FROM THEIR CLIENTS AS WELL!I WOULD NEVER SEND MY WORST ENEMY HEREE!
