I went in looking for a new style of optical frames for myself and Nancy was absolutely incredible. She was incredibly sweet and didn’t make me feel bad for trying on a bunch of pairs until we found the right one. She was also honest with what looked good on me and didn’t. I will be back to purchase sunglasses and more frames soon. 10/10! You get what you pay for :)

I received a better experience getting prescription safety glasses from my job TWICE. I Told these people that I could not see properly through the glasses and they had every excuse that I was doing something wrong and I told them that I didn’t have this issue with my work glasses that was my first pair ever. Since then I have gotten 2 more pair from others places for work and home and no issues. What on earth could I have been doing wrong. Don’t get me started on them saying that they took my insurance. They did but it was out of network and the percentage paid was the minimum. There is even more to say but this is more than enough. The glasses that I purchased were progressives and I was more willing to get the top tier. Now they collect dust.

The best people by far to do business with. Mark and his wife went above and beyond to help me find the glasses I wanted with excellent costumer service. They treated me like family and I will most definitely do business with them again.

I was in Philly for a few days, and after researching optical stores nearby, I found West Coast Optical to be the choice of many. Everyone was right! Douglas greeted me and immediately made me feel at home. He helped me get the right fit for my Moscot Lemtosh, and made the entire experience very pleasant. I must admit I was nervous about going out of network for my glasses, but I stopped in one day just to try on frames and fell in love! I left that week and dreamed about them. West Coast did not push me to purchase that evening but I think Doug knew I was coming back. A week later, I returned for the frames and finally pulled the trigger. Nancy was excellent and made sure that my tough script needs were met. Often my pockets are burned because of my taste and high script lenses but I felt like I definately got the most out of this purchase. To date, I have gotten so many compliments. So much that - I am ready to find another pair. You can never have enough glasses, right?

Ive been wearing glasses for over 20 years, and this is the best shop Ive ever gotten glasses from! I have high myopia so for years I was stuck wearing coke bottle lenses with a chunky frame- not only are my new frames super cute, my lenses are thin and not heavy on my face. Turn around time is excellent, too. Definitely worth the price!

One of the clerks was really snooty and obnoxious with me. After trying a couple of sunglasses, I asked him if they had smaller models, and he answered me with a ton of sarcasm: Smaller?. Five minutes later I told him if it would be possible to fit my eyeglasses, because they are a bit loose. He said that the price of that was 5 dollars, so I just commented (as an anecdote) that in Spain any eyeglasses shop does that for free to anyone (it takes no more than 2 minutes). He replied me: In that case, go back to Spain and ask there.This last comment seemed to me completely unnecessary, unpleasant and even racist. Who knows, maybe he was trying to make America great again.

I just stepped on his glasses on the bedroom floor. I know glasses dont belong on the floor, but thats another story.In a panic, I picked up the bits and pieces of his REALLY STRONG PRESCRIPTION and crumpled frames, then called Nancy at West Coast Optical IN A PANIC!! Keep in mind, this was a Monday and my husbands leaving to work in India on Thursday.Nancy lowered by anxiety by confidently saying his frames were discontinued, but shell immediately find compatible frames and start the replacement process. I was skeptical of the SUPER FAST turn around time for these glasses.Nancy found several great frames, custom fitted them to my husbands face, and he was wearing them WEDNESDAY, a day before deadline! What can I say, Nancy not only sells glasses, she saved my marriage and didnt even charge extra for RUSH service!!
