This was my first visit and I highly recommend. Dr. Ward was personable, professional and explained throughout my eye exam what he was looking for and what to expect with my vision. Everyone at the office was super helpful, I was greeted and welcomed right away. After my exam I was able to try on multiple frames from a large selection, I found an awesome pair and was also able to get new lenses put into a frame I brought in. Great service and overall experience.

Dr. VanHorn is excellent! She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and truly cares about her patients. Ive been to other optometrists that simply go through the motions. Dr. VanHorn takes time to explain everything to her patients and make them feel comfortable through the whole process. Im very happy to have an optometrist I can continuously trust and I will continue going back to her for all my eye exams! I refer Dr. VanHorn to all of my friends!

The Drs & staff are really great - very nice and personable. The optical side of this practice left me really disappointed though after botching a pair of lenses, twice. I get that some frames are harder than others; the problem was how they handled communication. Instead of keeping me informed, they told me glasses were ready for pickup twice, and when I came in, the lenses were completely wobbly and misfit to the frame. Altogether, thats several hours of commute and parking for something that wasnt right. The worst part was the failed recovery. When I spoke with the Optical Manager, I got a defensive, half-hearted apology, but no customer recovery.

This is a great office. Ive seen both Drs. Ward and Vanhorn. Theyre friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Desk staff is also great. Ive also purchased probably five pairs of glasses from them and they came in on time and were well adjusted. Definitely recommend, especially over one of the chain shops.

Phenomenal Office.I saw Dr VanHorn for my yearly eye exam and contacts. She was absolutely a pleasure to work with. Her bedside manners were above par and super sweet. Have you ever had that feeling of feeling like youve known a person for years but just met them? Thats the vibe I received from Dr VanHorn. She explained my vision issues in laymans terms without making me feel like a true blonde. The exam was very thorough and pleasant.The office staff were pleasant and very helpful with insurance questions. It was easy to make an appointment. The front desk made the process of checking in and out a breeze. The Dr.s assistant was very patient during my visual field testing and explained the test steps clearly.The atmosphere of the office was very professional and welcoming. Im happy to finally find an eye Dr that I feel truly cares about their patients. I highly recommend this office.I also got glasses which fit perfectly. I believe it was Mike who helped me he was very professional and pleasure to work with. I happy with how fast the turn around was.

Overall not a great experience visiting them. The dr was professional but I heard race-related comments during my visit and I didn’t feel good about. The receptionists are always on their wheels that they didn’t make everything smooth for me - so theres weird cost for trials - it was supposed to be covered by my insurance but they doubled the cost and left a portion out-of-pocket for me; I was supposed to get two of my trials but they only gave me 1 and when I call them the receptionist said she’ll call me when my trials arrived but i didn’t get a notice until I called again and ask for it; I tried to make my order for contacts after the trials but didn’t get their response at all. TLDR-too much work for me, always chasing after them.

They have always been easy to contact and are super accommodating

My boyfriend and I had our eye appointments today with Dr. Ward and could not have been happier with our experience! The staff was amazing - super friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. We were in and out within an hour with no issues whatsoever. Could not recommend this place more! Thank you all for a surprisingly enjoyable experience!

August 2020: Ive been going here for the past couple of years. Recently Dr Ward took over my case and I must say, it was the best eye consult. Starting from the intake process at the door, the examination, the frame fitting, it was all so streamlined that they hardly made me wait.I had accidentally damaged my old frame. They quickly swapped my frame as it was still under warranty.There are numerous precautions in place for covid-19 social distancing.My vision needs are simple, and my experience so far was very pleasant.They advertise a 1-hour parking at a nearby parking garage. Ive not tried it. Ask the front desk.Thank you.

Absolutely love this Optometry. The staff were so friendly and had awesome customer service. Plus, the nice lady Jenna who helped me find my glasses was a pro, I found them in no time at all. Amazing price as well, definitely recommend them to anyone, even if you dont have insurance!

I am new to philly and had a complicated situation with my lenses and glasses. You never would have known it was anything but routine . Sheena was warm and friendly and took care of all the details to make this a positive seamless experience. Jenna happily made sure I got the glasses I loved at the cost I was comfortable with. And Dr Ward , well he sets the example for his staff to be professional, thorough and easy to talk to. And actually fun! Who goes to any doctor and can say they had fun?!

Dr. Ward is very professional and friendly. He takes time to do a thorough exam. He is up-front about costs and insurance coverage and does not try to up-sell products and services. Great service from the office from start to finish. Jenna, who helped me pick out frames, is an absolute gem. She knows all of the frames that they carry and has a great eye for what will and wont flatter your features. This is by far the best experience Ive had at an optometrists office. Highly recommend that you go here!!

Dr. Ward gave me good advice on contact lens use and how to preserve my vision. He also showed me the pictures of my eyes over the years and how little they have changed. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Ive been going here over 10 years.

I started going to this practice 10+ years ago, and will never go anywhere else. Dr. Page and Associates and Tom are just amazing. They are very helpful and take the time to explain everything. They answer all of your questions and make you feel very comfortable. My daughter is also a patient here and loves them. She was sent to a specialist by her pediatrician and was upset and didnt like it. She said I only wanna go to Dr. Pages and we never have gone elsewhere. We have recommended many friends and family to them who love it and will never switch either. One of the best practices around. If your debating or thinking of switching eye doctors, this is honestly the best practice to go to... Wont ever leave them, and if you go there one time, you wont either.

Ive been going to Dr. Page over 10 years Ive never had a issue the staff is great. Ive never had any problems with my glasses unlike other places Ive been to.

Have been going to Dr. Page since 1981 and have referred many clients to him. Always professional, and his staff are always helpful and friendly.

I recently moved to Philadelphia for med school, and finding an optometrist in network (UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus, vision covered under Optum) was annoyingly difficult. Dr. Pages practice was the only one in the area offering a reasonable price for a standard exam and a contact lens prescription. He was very friendly and approachable, took the time to explain every step of what he was doing, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The exam rooms were neat, the equipment was clean, and the office also matched the price that I would have paid online for my contacts so I felt no upsell pressure whatsoever. They had my new contacts ready for pickup the next day. Overall, Dr. Page went above and beyond what I would expect from an optometrist and I will be going back to his practice for all of my eye care.
