Horrible place. It’s been years since I’ve been treated here—but I am paying for every poor decision I made at this practice. It’s a painful and widening regret. I advise you to seek a caring and honest dentistry. —THIS IS NOT IT.In response to the comment below, this is the place that showed no concern and has led to many dental visits. It all started with a dentist that did not care about my issues. When I sat down to peruse this journey, I realized I never gave the place that started this mess my review. Maybe I should erase all other reviews. Poor dental care is a lifetime effect. For many, it’s hard to find a good treatment plan because sometimes, you’re treated less than human—when your cases are severe. The harsh pattern started at this place with inconsiderate and uncaring approaches. That’s why I came to write my review. If you want more detail, let me know.And yes, I will write about every poor experience. That’s my right. And please know that if I wrote about any business, it was a searing situation. All of you met under a common umbrella—NOT CARING ABOUT LONG TERM OUTCOMES.

I arrived to my appointment and was told that they attempted to contact me to reschedule. I have a confirmation text message from them two days prior to my appointment. I don’t have any voicemail or email attempting to reschedule. There was no resolution just when would you like to reschedule. I’ve been going to this dental office since 2008 and I’ve never had problems with scheduling. I will not be returning.

Today was my first visit with Philadelphia Dental Associates. Great customer service as soon as you enter. Great staff overall. They gave me a great cleaning with my braces on and I was in and out. Very seamless. Will be back again!

Got me in right away when I was having a dental emergency, even though I had not previously been seen there. Great service, very friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

Oh my goodness, I had a panic attack when I got there. After the Dentist and his assistant calmed me down I was able to get my bridge replaced with Zero pain. I feel so silly now. They were awesome, and I am sure I will not have a panic attack my next visit

Going the dentist is just not a fun experience. Who likes getting your teeth poked with metal tools? No one. But I had such a wonderful experience at my cleaning at philadelphia dental associates. The staff is so nice, and make a point to get to know you, a tough task when you can’t talk for most of the appointment. They are efficient AND since I was there last, they have upgraded and now have TVs on the exam chairs. It’s not so bad getting your teeth cleaned when you can watch Netflix while you do it! They also play fun music, and are clearly just trying hard to make the dentist experience as painless as possible. If you need a friendly and knowledgeable dentist, go here!

Been coming here for a few years and it’s always a pleasant experience. I know that can seem odd for a dentists office! Had both regular appts and minor procedures done without issue.

Ive been goin to this place for 19 years now and Im still pleased with there great service.. They make me feel good about goin to the dentist. I use to always be scared before I started goin here. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is a wonderful dental practice . Staff and dentists are very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. They practice good COVID-19 precautions and I felt safe in there . My dental hygienist Maddie was very gentle but thorough cleaning my teeth and taking x-rays. Dentist was also very knowledgeable and thorough . I highly recommend this practice.

I have been using the Philadelphia Dental for couple of years now. My first time visit was an emergency with a cracked tooth and I was in pain. I saw a doctor the day I called , and my problem was solved! The doctors are very kind and detailed oriented. Always explains the procedures first and put me in ease. The location is just perfect, too.

I’ve always hated the dentist until my visit here! It was amazing. William who did my cleaning was friendly, patient, and took his time with me. Usually I leave the dentist in pain but not this time! Its a pleasure to go for an appointment at the Dental Associates. Everyone is so nice, receptionist, exray, cleanings, doctors, fillings etc. When leaving I make my next appointment for six months because I know they will give me a reminder. Happy New Year everyone.....

The most pleasant dental visit ever! The dental hygienist was very professional and explained to me every step that he was going to do. I expressed my concerns abut my teeth and they (the hygienist and the doctor) looked at my x-ray carefully and patiently explained the reasons why it might be. I also had cleaning done. No pain at all, which it never happened. Thank you for making it a painless visit!

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. King and his amazing assistant Britney. I was very anxious about the appointment and any procedure, but Dr. King and his assistant were very patient with me and spend a lot of time trying to calm me down, the staff was very helpful and kind and always available to help. Dr. King is very professional, he takes the time to explain what needs to be done and provides valuable advice , Its not easy to find a good dentist . But I highly recommend Dr. King and his staff for kids and adults.

Staff was great. My wait time not so much. Felt there were too many patients scheduled. Had a patient come in every 15min but took almost 45 min to be seen. Kind of an issue with COVID-19 going around.

Really super amazing people and services. Everyone I met was incredibly nice. I needed my 1st crown, and it was handled seamlessly. Dentist (Dr. Chay) and hygienist were always checking in to make sure I was ok. And they told me in advance everything they were going to do. Def calmed my nerves a lot.The temp crown was very well constructed and stayed in the whole 2 wks over Christmas/New Years while the permanent crown was being made.Dr. Chay even took the time to show me how to brush and floss properly. And he offered a second tutorial for when I come in to get my night guard.Would definitely recommend going here!

I just had the worst cleaning i have ever received by the female doctor. She was very aggressive with her scraping and going far below the gum line causing pain and excessive bleeding After telling me i don’t have much build up. I provided her points to be careful of due to an issue and she drove the prob directly into that spot causing extreme pain with bleeding. I stopped my cleaning a quarter of the way through and tried getting out of my chair to her trying to not let me up insisting she make it right. After the 3rd or 4th time she moved and i was able to get out of the chair. It’s very unfortunate as my last experience with an actual hygienist was wonderful and the doctor i normally see was great during my last 2 appts. Very unfortunate to drive into city and pay forParking in the midst of all this and have such a terrible experience.

I look forward to going to the dentist now. My experience with this place was great. Clean,professional staff,attentive . Dr. Fee was great. He calmly talked through my procedure.I recommend this place .

Exceptional Service.. Dr was honest with me and let me know he could not perform the surgery I needed so referred me to an Oral Surgeon.... Showed me on the XRays the reason why and broke it down in terms I could understand!

Great dentist! The office is super-clean, and Dr. Hongs dentistry is excellent. I went to a Best of the Main Line dentist before I went to Dr. Hong, and I had problems with some crowns, which Dr. Hong fixed. So I feel like Dr. Hong is more talented than the better-known dentist. No one likes going to the dentist, but I enjoy going to this one because Dr. Hong and his staff always remember me, and little things we might have talked about last time. This goes beyond friendly, to caring about the patients as individuals. There is never a long wait time. Finally, the practice is an in-network provider for my MetLife dental plan, so there is never any paperwork for me to submit.

Dr Cho is a lifesaver! He went out of his way to help me in two dental emergencies. Amazing, compassionate, and talented!

Aside from thorough and efficient service during my cleanings, I had a billing discrepancy regarding a dental procedure and Dr. Hong handled it great. He took the time to have multiple conversations with me regarding the breakdown of charges and what the insurance company covered. I appreciate how accessible and willing to help he was!

I’ve had a cleaning done, and I can say it was the best cleaning I ever had. Dr. Hong is very polite, caring and professional. Thanks to him now have an awesome new smile with no gaps. The front office explained the costs in detail before and after each visit so there were no surprises financially, the place is extremely clean, and the dental work has been outstanding. My wife Elena paid upfront money for work that was to be completed. She was relocated to Florida and upon her request to be refunded she has called and emailed numerous times over numerous weeks without a response. This is a very unprofessional client approach, which will cause us to take additional steps to recover the reimbursed moneys due.

If you live/work near 20th and Market and your insurance covers it, you have to go here. Friendly staff, clean, and efficient. Just got a cavity filled in less than 15 minutes. Dentist is quick and thorough. They are committed to keeping your teeth and gums healthy.

I am surprised that there are negative reviews about the staff and Dr. Hong at Philadelphia Dental Associates. My experience at PDA has been absolutely positive. I went in a few days ago for a root canal procedure, and Dr. Hong was extremely attentive and spent a lot of time helping me understand what root canal process meant, what he would do, and why he thought it was a recommended option for me. I had so much pain and was seriously afraid that this much-dreaded root canal procedure would end my life. But, Dr. Hong was extremely professional and made sure that I was okay and comfortable throughout the root canal operation. I have no complaint! I highly recommend PDA to anyone with fear of dental care. I never liked going to a dentists office, but I trust that Dr. Hong will take good care of me here. I am so thankful for his patience with me!
