They are not helpful!!! They blame their mistakes on everyone else!!! Barb was extremely rude and disrespectful to me! I have never had such a terrible experience as I had with this office!!!!!!!

I was doing home daycare and I made sure all the paperwork was turned in I even spoke with someone on the phone who confirmed that all my papers were received. I got a letter saying I was denied because my w9 was not returned How can I prove I turned in my paperwork when you dont give receipts stating what forms were received? I was in the office several times and 3 different ladies took my paperwork and now the w9 is lost so I cant get paid. This is poor customer service.

They have always been very helpful in helping me afford daycare for my children. Even if you have to wait for assistance, everyone needs to understand they are providing you FREE assistance for daycare so you can afford it. They have been helping me since 2009 and I am forever grateful for all the assistance.

Whenever I call the local office I am on hold for at least 15 minutes waiting for Julie to pick up I have to stay on the phone because once you are on hold you cannot opt to leave a message. I have requested sleep time since August of this year and have yet to receive any sleep time. When I went to third shift the SAL office staff suggested that I request sleep time which I did request and have yet to receive. Why would staff suggest and then give me the run around.Then when they answer they only give me general information instead of looking into my issue. I have received child care assistance once before and the experience was nothing like it is now.

I have had to call a few times and every time I have called they have been friendly and very helpful.

Ive never had a poor experience calling and speaking with them. Sure, theres footwork and paperwork to do, but when isnt there? The staff there is really nice.

Since when did people have to turn in 30 days worth of pay stubs. All the two and a half years that i had to turn in paper work for redeterminations ive only had to turn in my last two pay stubs. I give ya three and thats still not enough now im left without child care even though i had already spoke with someone had all the correct information. And confirmee it was going to get processed just horrible

Horrible. Apparently they somehow think I only need childcare for two days out of the week when I work at least five. Been struggling with them for over a year. My childrens daycare provider just informed me that I am only covered for a full day and one half day of child care per week. I am going to have to end up quiting my job all together bc I am unable to pay for even one extra day that isnt covered. I dont know what else to do. Im hopeless and a single mom with two kids. I have no clue what to do.

I was sent a paper asking for more information. The paper was dated the 5th(please see attached photos of said documents). I did not receive the paper until the 11th. I dropped off the paper work requested on the 11th. Had to take off work to do so.After 15 minutes on hold I am still being canceled because they are not responsible for how long it takes the mail to reach my house. The post office must really be bad if this agency sent out the letter on the 5th and it was not post marked until the 10th.So I can not work at all next week and quite possibly the following week, due to waiting the 5 to 10 day processing it takes them. Not to mention it will take 5 or 6 days to get there letter due to the post office. I have always returned documents promptly and have been pleasant with the case workers. This is nothing against them, they are doing their job. This is due to the poor policies and practices on this lovely state. I work every week (until now) to support my children as a single parent, with a little assistance due to the costs of child care. This program set me up for failure. How about saving a tree and some money by offering the possibility of doing this all electronically.

I have dealt with CCC through Caring Hands Daycare for over 3 years. The daycare has been the one to give me the redetermination papers and everything. In december i didnot recieve them, at hteh ned of january i did and i was screwed over multiple time till now on them making me redo the papers while being charged $125 a week. Now keep in mind, i get paid every two weeks with a max of $350 paycheck every two weeks and now they are expecting me to pay back the $2000 its charged me and im being told i have to pay back the $125 every week...So im supposed to literally get paid and be broke. im working 6 days a week and i only get one day off a week. So im working so much to not even have extra money to treat my daughter out to food. How is that even fair. and this is after since january they said they would pay back the money it was racked up

I live in Illinois.Last year I was NOT paid for at least 3 monthes worth of sitting.This year I was NOT paid for September,was only paid 47.30 for ALL of October.They said my app was not submitted until the 27th so the only paid me part time for 5 days.I have NOTHING but TROUBLE trying to get my money I earn from CCC.If YOU only received 5 days pay instead of the 22 you ACTUALLY worked.....youd be very upset.Because I only get paid by the day,this really hurts me financially to ALWAYS have problems getting my correct payfor what Ive worked,if any at all.
