Incredible experience. Everyone I encountered from checking in to checking out was extremely courteous, helpful and friendly. No long waits and my doctor was attentive, didn’t rush me and really genuinely cared for my well being. This was the best experience ive ever had at a medical facility!

My visit at Orlando Health was one of the best medical appointments I’ve ever had. Everyone was efficient, professional, friendly, and helpful. I was very impressed with how quickly I was called back and released (with lots of information in hand and appointments made). Dr. Bawaney was awesome!

I saw Dr. Taylor today for my first visit. Dr. Taylor was amazing. He genuinely cares for his patients. He listens when I speak, explains care, procedures, etcI feel very fortunate that Dr. Taylor is my physician.

I knew some day I would end up being treated within this facility; based on my hereditary conditions specifically. I am glad that the staff within the Heart & Vascular Institute are ready & willing & able to receive me now, as this time has come sooner than expected. I feel like the professionals who are handling my care have been the best qualified to do so.They take my lifestyle, my limitations, & restrictions all into consideration while helping me to create the best plans possible to improve & hopefully maintain my health. Best yet, they give me the resources, education, & tools to help me make these changes MYSELF; not just doing all the work for me. I feel they strive to set me up for success on my terms, not their own.To me, that is what makes the Orlando Health network the best to consider for healthcare.

Dr. Bello is without a doubt a brilliant doctor with above average human skills. He listens and grasps the situation. He is down to earth and compassionate.Even though I am sure he must have had a bunch of other patients to see, while he was he us, he made it feel like that time was for us, did not feel rushed at all!

The team is amazing! Very minimal wait time. They treat you well makes the process so seamless. Keep doing an amazing job!!

I have been seeing Dr. Garcia Fernandez since last year and I’m glad I couldn’t get in touched with another doctor that I had been referred to by my Primary Dr. I didn’t know at that time that I was going to need an OHSurgery after some test results and Dr. Garcia had been amazing, treat me well as a patient, very supportive, helpful, so nice that explain all the procedures I needed before surgery, gave me peace that everything was going to be Ok, I felt very comfortable and I was well taking care of through all the process. It’s hard to make decisions so suddenly and unexpected, so I was very nervous to go through surgery. Also my Surgeon Dr. Walker was amazing, when she explained every single detail of surgery, the risk I was going to be in if I don’t do it ASAP, she gave me a sense of peace that I said ok let’s do it!She is very nice person to talk to, professional and shows her experience as a surgeon, her assistant also is very sweet took time answering all my questions and concerns every time she come to check on me at the hospital and even afterwards at the follow up appointments.I have to say I was blessed to have the best doctors because they show to the patients that they love what they do.I appreciate them and I highly recommend them !

I am new in the area and was uncertain of which cardiologist to go to. So far i think I met my match, the care I have received from this establishment has been outstanding!

Dr. Thomas and his office do not care about their patients. I’ve been having chest pain on and off since he performed my surgery and placed the stent in my heart. However, he was more worried about me wearing mask up over my nose than seeing me for my follow up visit to go over the issues I am having after the procedure he conducted to place a stent in my heart. This goes to show that you’re just a number to Dr. Thomas because if you don’t comply with his authoritarian measures about wearing masks he won’t give two sh*** about your health or life. It wasn’t until after they had a gentleman come and try to bully me into wear the mask completely over my nose that I was offered a Telehealth option. That would had been nice to know I had that option before driving an hour in I4 traffic there and back to go to his office in person.Let me make another point to the great Dr. Thomas and his staff.If masks work and you or your other patients are wearing one why do I need to?If a patient sitting over 10’ away from another patient or your staff isn’t that a good enough of a distance so that there’s not a need to wear a mask?Are the patients that you just performed a surgery on and well being of less value than your dictatorship and authoritarian control over them when it comes to wearing a mask?Can you produce any studies that shows your patients that the thin paper mask you are forcing patients to wear actually can stop the spread of the virus?Should a patient that has tested negative already for CV-19 be forced by you to wear a mask knowing they have other medical issues that prevent them from doing so?Not everyone can wear masks over their mouth and nose do to other medical conditions and your lack of understanding of this shows you’re only in the cardiovascular profession for the all mighty dollar and not to save people’s lives because if it was the latter you wouldn’t try to force your BS mask mandate and authoritarian dictatorship on to your patients that don’t want to or can’t wear them the way you dictate.To anyone who takes the time to read my review just know there are many other cardiovascular doctors in the Orlando area that truly care for their patients well being and you should do your own research on Dr. Thomas and others before allowing them to be in control over something as serious as a heart condition.

I had an Incredible experience with the office staff - Ace and John - last week. I needed a last minute appointment and the answer was no but they were professional, showed compassion, and helped me problem solve. I hung up feeling they heard me and cared. Thank you!

Dr. Duran took the time to explain what was occurring, the options available for care, and further took the initiative to get to know me as a person and then patient. In the short amount of time I spent with him, I felt as though I could trust him implicitly with my health.

They employ kind, companionate and knowledgeable doctors

My mom has a great doctor but the office managment is horrible. If you have a concern and call . They only send messages to the department or group. Then you never get any follow calls. This happened on more then 1 occasssion. They set appointments at the office then for some reason it is changed to a different date or the orignal time and day is no longer in the system. Not enough parking and they had a covid evrnt and it yook me 20 mins to park which it was not even a legit parking space in the parking garage and they made my mom 83 years old wait for all the other appointsments after her because we were considered late for the appointment. The doctor is wonderful but all the other areas are inconsistent and not structured appropriately. I had tried to get refills on my mom shots and had to call them and threaten them because the pharmacy never got the prescription refilled. This was a med to avoud blot clots. Well they finally sent over the request but onky after i called yelling on a saturday. I noticed the med milagrams was different and i was never told about the change. All I got were excuses when I spoke with the nurse such as... I see the previous amount but i see the new change as well. (I was not told about the change) another was...I cannot speak on what occured that day or we are having trouble with our fax number. The pharmarcies are sending to the wrong place. I have never had so many issues with a heath org before. Not to mention the appointment mix- ups. The place needs to get their ducks in a row I believe management is not coordinating the right implementations to handle the volume of patients they have

Poor customer service - never been treated more like a commodity and less like a human more in my life. You cannot connect with doctor office directly but instead go though one main line and leave a message. Drs seem okay, but show minimal care about your wellbeing. Find another provider if you have an option.

Had tests done. Did the tests according to the providers instructions. Was told by doctors office that I didnt do the tests properly and that they couldnt make any conclusions even though I did the tests as instructed. Said I needed to now do different tests which I refused because doctor wouldnt even talk to me to explain why he couldnt read initial tests without paying for another appointment. Im out over $1000 and no results.

Excellent hospital parking can be a little hectic and confusing even though parking is free I suggest you use valet parking if you are running late for an appointment. It will take you an additional 10 minutes to park and walk across the tunnel to get to your destination. The food cafeteria in this building is pretty limited I suggest you go accross the street to the Charles Lewis Pavillion.

My super fit but thin as a rail 79 year old father was advised to have a double bypass and valve replacement ASAP by Dr. Ghumman in August 2020 so we went ahead and scheduled with Dr. Hannah who then performed a 11 hour surgery. My dad was an engaged and bright retired architect who loved to research our ancestry online. He came out of that surgery tied to a bed and not knowing he had a daughter - to this day (November) he cannot make change, throws away hand towels after he drys his hands, cannot operate a television remote (much less a computer) and struggles to have a normal conversation. No one told us that a side effect may be permanent brain damage in older patients. Be very wary ...this is not a holistic group but appears to be a factory just trying to crank out surgeries during COVID.

Very poor customer service. Impossible to reach anyone by phone. Try all day sometimes. Someone in authority hopefully will read this. I think they have gone out of business. So awful for a patient to experience.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. No one answers the phones. I have literally never experienced anything like this. It has caused unnecessary stress and I am sure my atrial fibrillation is worse because of the stress caused by being unable to reach ANYONE by phone.

Dr. Garcia-Fernandez likely saved my life less than a week ago by quickly identifying my major blockages. He had Dr Sand do bypass surgery and all is well now. I appreciate their passion for saving lives?

Great hospital, being monitored with out even asking and try to find the root of the problem,with out having to struggle to get a doctor to listen, they are professional and follow the guidelines for heart patients. The set up is beautiful and comfortable. The bill is expensive but no more than other hospital in west coast .

I had a nuclear stress test done. From the beginning to the end, everyone there were like Angels. I felt loved and cared about by complete strangers. I say thank you from my whole heart. Lol. God Bless You and all the families you bless. Martin

After waiting many weeks, I had a doppler of my carotid arteries and an echo of my heart done, and I could not get the records after repeated phone calls over 8 days. The customer service at this place is horrible. It seems nurses and other people including the office manager and nurses have a recording on their phone lines that says that they will return calls in 48 hours. Its been 8 days and the nurse I left word with who is the nurse of the doc who prescribed the tests, did not return my call. Medical records is difficult to deal with and says they cannot put tests on disc and transfers me elsewhere and around the circle with each person transferring me after I wait and wait, then back to medical records. Repeated calls to the nurse of the doc who ordered the test went unanswered. Finally after 8 days of calling these people, asking various operators, holding for the office manager and getting a recording, etc., I got a nurse who said she would get on the line with medical records because they could give me my records on disc. After waiting again (each time it takes 5-10 minutes listening to their annoying jingle while waiting on the phone) she said to me, I found somebody in medical records who will help you. Note how she said this. I said thanks, and the person who came on the line was said they cannot put my tests on disc. However this lady added that some other office can put my tests on a disc, and she will transfer me to them. I asked if I need a file number or some date of the tests or something and she said, no. The next lady who answered the phone said she will send me a form to fill out (release of info form) so I can get the records if I send the form back. Guess what ? The form says I need the date of the tests that were performed! What a bureaucratic ridiculous hassle with bad customer service and each person not knowing what the next person will say is needed. I hope that someday within the next several weeks these folks might mail to me my records on a disc. because I dont want to spend 15-20 minutes per day again calling and being put on hold at this place trying to find somebody who will help me get my records. HIPPA requires that they react within 6 days but obviously these people do not do what HIPPA requires just because it is the law.

These guys Suck with a capital S. After going around with them for a couple of days to try and schedule an appointment, they called me back to cancel on short notice. They didnt care at all that I needed the appointment at the time they committed to because I was leaving to work remotely for a couple of months.There are a lot of other good cardiology options in central Florida. I wont being be giving these guys a second chance

Had a CT scan done in September 2019. Everyone was very friendly. But could not get the results. Had calls of the out of pocket amounts for another procedure but no one called to tell me any results from the CT scan. I told the person I needed to speak with someone as to what the procedure was for......then I went online to the portal. This is how I got my results. No one called me with the results. Called repeatedly and no return call. Actually went to Gainesville to get the heart catheterization done and they were great. Now trying to contact another doctor in the practice, left messages and no return call. Cannot recommend this group.Heres an update. I am now trying to get $211 back. It was required at the time of the CT.The CT claim was sent to the insurance incorrectly and was denied. Meanwhile the Gainesville hospital did the heart Cath and process the claim correctly. Now my out of pocket has been met with my insurance. Orlando Health processed the claim again correctly and the insurance paid 100% of the bill. I have now been trying to get the $211 refunded. Ive called the billing department multiple times and told the 211 is being applied to old bills. That was not the case. I did not have outstanding bills. Today I called and now Im being told its being applied to current bills. I havent been to one of their doctors this year. I have seen something going through insurance but I havent been to see the doctor. Im not scheduled until next month. But they are now holding my funds for future billings. Please just refund the funds. I paid the $211 in good faith at the time of the procedure. This is why I do not want to prepay anything before insurance is filled.

In the past few months Ive had to use this place for their imaging work. 3 CT Scans in 3 months. The service I received has been AMAZING!!! In particular over the phone. I hope I dont butcher their names too badly but... Tasha, LaShanya and Jessa or Jesse (from billing) have been uber friendly and have a willingness to help that oozes through the phone. LaShanya was awesome helping me with the finance and treated me with a dignity that is rare nowadays. I REALLY hope this message gets to all 3 young ladies and their bosses. The imaging staff is awesome as well. I will keep using this facility for all my imaging needs.
