This rating is not for the class that I received at Allure Dance Studio. I took a Burlesque class by Lauren and it was amazing. Barring the drama from the owner, I would have been more interested in pursuing future classes. This review is for the owner.I purchased a drop in for a single class. I had never gone to Allure but was interested in seeing what a class would be like. The site accidentally billed me for the class twice and I immediately reached out.First of all, they have an automated system which makes it impossible to talk to anyone regarding your concerns. So instead I had to wait for the owner to contact me regarding my concerns.After I waited to hear back from her, she advised that it was not possible for me to get my money back, despite the double charge being an error in the part of their system. So my $25 drop in became $50. She did offer that I could go to Allure for an entire month in exchange, however as someone who was just dropping in for one class to get an idea, this was not something I was interested.I expressed this and she told me she would do some digging on her side and get back to me in 2 days regarding my refund.I never heard back despite reaching out to their “automated” system several times.If you are a newbie or somewhat interested in these classes, I don’t recommend coming here.It seems as though they are more interested in getting any money they can as opposed to making sure they have happy return customers.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. They are not here to help but only to collect money!!! They sell groupons but you cant even redeem it and now they will be going virtual indefinitely (as told today). I wouldnt even recommend taking a virtual class with them honestly, when I did attend a class, the instructor was all over the place and had to correct herself multiple times.. After asking why are they selling groupons if I cant even attend in person (which is the reason for a class) theyre response was the future is virtual.... it is very misleading and they only want your money. NO wonder theyre going virtual....

Before I was ever the owner, I was a member at Allure. During a very tough time in my life it was an amazing place to get fit and have fun... it still is! Classes at Allure are the best pole and aerial fitness workout in town, with many classes and locations for ladies of all backgrounds and fitness levels. No experience is required- we cater to beginners! I know from experience that each lady who goes to Allure walks in with a story and leaves with a family! Come see why we are celebrating our 5 year anniversary this year... You deserve to look this good!

The company is awful. I have tried for 8 months to cancel my membership. No one ever calls back. No email or text rest. This place is ridiculous. They are not accommodating or in any way helpful.

Wonderful experience! Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Exercise classes there are both mentally and physically challenging and Im excited that I was able to explore it.

I absolutely LOVE Allure! I randomly took a class back in June or July 2016 and have been hooked ever since. I got the unlimited membership and I love it! If I only do one class or four in a week, its still worth it. Definitely recommend!

Everytime I go its an amazing experience for everyone- it doesnt matter what age or who the person is- they treat you like family. I cant believe how much Im learning and even though its a tough workout its so cool to learn how to LOVE my body again! Dont hesitate to go to Allure!

Tried out the pole fitness class. It was no joke! It was super hard to do some of the moves and you are going to leave with bruises. I loved Abby, she would always make you feel good about what you were doing, no matter what level you were at. Awesome workout. You will feel it the next day.

I had been attempting to attend classes since January on the weekends and have only been able to attend 2 because the rest have been cancelled by the studio. I would recommend looking at past schedules before committing to a class package to make sure they will have classes you can attend. The first class I attended the instructor was late and it took about 3 weeks for them to get my Groupon figured out. Its a fun concept for a class but not such great execution.

Allure Dance is an incredible studio! Pole fitness is so great for your body and your self confidence! With the help of the great instructors here I have grown so much as a dancer and am excited to be a member of this great studio. They really care about their members here at Allure.

I have been going to allure dance for almost 3 years. The pole class on Friday night is so much fun and great exercise. I have also loved the pole/barre/yoga Tuesday and Thursday 6 am classes. KK always keeps the classes fun and they are always a great workout. I can’t say enough good things about this place and KK.

Im grateful to call this studio home and to see all the ladies of all ages, shapes and backgrounds who find themselves so empowered and feeling strong is just so cool! Bored with the gym or looking for a way to get I shape without doing a bunch of machines? This is the place!

Loved it. I felt very sexy attending. I am comfortable with my body but the just made me even more comfortable. 😄

My wife attended a single dance class in March and paid with her credit card. She was enrolled in Allures unlimited monthly membership program for $89 by mistake and with out her concent. She immediately notified them of the un authorize charge to her credit card and they refunded her the money. She has not since been back to allure or attended any other classes. This month they once again billed her credit card $89. We have attempted to contact someone at Allure to notifey them of the unauthorized charges being made to her credit card but have gotten no response .

I recently went with a friend for her bachelorette party and the night turned into an EPIC failure for us and many guests that came from across the state and even out of state to celebrate. Our instructor was very late and we were not notified, we had to call numerous times (and numbers since one didnt even work) before reaching the owner who was out of the state on vacation, the wine and water that were included in the package were not properly supplied (for a group of 20 we had 4 regular-sized water bottles), the cake was a joke and had been refrigerated for God knows how long, the included Bride t-shirt was supplied in a size that was too small, the instructor stated that she had never been to this location and was ill-prepared for the group, she was a great dancer but not good at teaching the moves to novices, and the list goes on.....My friend was promised a refund but I dont know if thats happened yet. Just disappointing on so many levels that I have began looking at other venues that offer pole and would encourage others to do the same. EPIC FAILURE!!

The place Needs to be clean and theres no toalla paper in the bathroom.11 girls waiting outside for 30 min and teacher is late :( also unsafe my wallet was stolen.

We booked a class and arrived at the studio, but no instructor ever showed up. We waited outside the building for about 30 minutes and no one showed up!

We booked a party for a bachelorette. The day of our limo didnt show up for hours and unfortunately we couldnt make our class. KK took care of us and worked out a class for us for the next day. She was absolutely wonderful to work with and we had a blast! She really helped turn our weekend around!

Its nice to know that my previous review was deleted. I was a member of this studio for 2 years before ending it on bad terms due to new ownership (KK) taking over, changing things that were fine the way they were, driving up prices, driving away members, and firing employees for demanding wages that were never paid. I was paying for a membership only to have 4 classes a week canceled because nobody was taking the classes anymore (for the same reason. Many former members had the same complaints). On top of that, I was constantly being charged no-show fees for classes Id never even signed up for. It was such a waste of my money that I had to leave.

Disappointed by how I was treated by staff when dealing with coupons/membership, very hostile. Not easy to manage your membership. Great classes, but the way you are treated and their flexibility with groupons/membership is not great.

I booked Allure dance studio for a Bachelorette party. I choose a package that allowed us to have a photographer, food, drinks I paid an abseen amt of money for services that was not rendered. The photographer took pictures however I still have not received them. Food and drinks was not provided and the price was not adjusted although the services wasnt rendered. I called the owner back to discuss a price adjustment and Im still awaiting a phone call from 2 weeks ago. Before I booked the class I spoke to the owner on the phone everything was a yes. And that we will make this a night to remember. I did! the day of the event was not great at all. I paid 780.00 for just a basic pole dancing class that I could have gotten on Groupon for a fraction of the price. I was and still am so disappointed. Ladies dont waste your money.

Allures classes have permanently changed me for the better. Learning to use the pole as a discipline has transformed my fitness routine to incorporate results I havent previously been able to obtain. As someone who has pursued a fit lifestyle for ten years, I can say Ive never achieved the same upper body results from any other type of workout (this will work you amazingly all over as well). A basic understanding of fitness allows you to know that pull and push deliver totally different dynamics for strength building and unless youre doing pull-ups (boring), youre not achieving the benefits pulling delivers for strength. Did I mention that this does not feel like exercise at ALL? Its SO much fun. There is no better way to get in shape than to do so with something that just goes by in a flash because youre having so much fun! And as a 30 year old, my first time heading into pole dancing classes was a little intimidating but the ladies at Allure immediately embrace you and make you feel comfortable. This was SO important to my experience. I felt confident and not at all out of place which is a lot to say for someone who can be a bit awkward. The first time I walked in there I could barely get on the pole and now I feel pretty comfortable doing a lot of tricks! I cant believe how much Ive learned in such a short time. I just cant say enough great things about Allure. Thank you so much KK and team for forever changing me for the better xoxoxoxo

I started here back in July with a Groupon and was addicted after the first class. After I used up my Groupon I got a morning membership and it rocks. The atmosphere and instructors are great. The workout-amazing! Everytime I attend class, I learn 4 or so new moves; my knowledge is growing by leaps and bounds! Im sore for days after class. Cant wait to try a burlesque class!! I got to try a few of the aerial yoga classes, and those were neat. Im horrible at normal yoga, but aerial was awesome.Yay for Allure and pole dancing!

Initially came to Allure thanks to a Groupon I bought for 8 classes. Just finished my 8th class today and there is no way Im stopping this! Pole fitness is a blast and the time flies. When I work out in a gym or even just go for a jog around my neighborhood, Im always very aware of how much time I have left. Not the case with pole. Its a true time flies when youre having fun atmosphere. I never find myself watching the clock while here; always seems like we just started and next thing I know, were doing a cool-down. AND, Im wiping sweat from my forehead! My first class, while I had a great time, was a bit intimidating as I quickly realized how little upper body strength I had. But as I continued to go, my strength naturally increased and while Im still a beginner, I have so much more confidence and can see a vast difference in my ability compared to Day 1. I literally had no strength to lift myself and do even the simplest spin my first day. Now, I can do a few different types of spins - and stay up! The instructors are friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. Watching them on the pole makes it all seem so easy, but its another story when you try yourself. And so they really help break it down for you. Who knew there was such technique involved! Theres also a variety of other clases offered that can help with your overall skill, technique, strength and flexibility. Mixing those in really helps. In between classes/days, Ive even started doing push-ups and flexibility stretches at home to help my progress. Ive seen all body types at Allure and I am by far not one of the trim/toned ones, so whatever is stopping you, let it go and get to ALLURE! Hopefully Ill see you there!
