I started with another office within Advent Health but communication was unbearable taking a month after consult to even hear back (despite multiple attempts on my part). Finally getting scheduled (2 months out), weeks later I received a call that the doctor would not be in that day and they needed to reschedule- 2 months out again. I quickly asked around and 2 friends recommended Dr Mejia. After calling Dr Mejias office my consult was quickly set up along with the procedure scheduled. Reaching the surgery center was a challenge but Dr Mejias office was both responsive and extremely helpful. the day of the procedure was smooth, the staff and Dr Mejia himself, awesome! I am very pleased to be done and very pleased I switched offices/doctors! I highly recommend this team!

My experience with the Gastroenterology was great. From the receptionist, nurses and doctor everyone was professional and took very good care of Ms. Brown. Ms. Brown Thanks the entire staff!

Pleasant and attentive staff, clean/modern facilities. Procedure went well.Had to call repeatedly for prep instructions for procedure and medication. Was told to arrive at 11am and was finally seen at almost noon. Excuse given by receptionist let me know that this is how they operate-no regard for the patient’s time, only their own.

Great Caring Staff. The Nurse Practitioner listened to all my concerns and answered my questions. She was patient, did not come across rushed. She followed up and sent the information she promised to send.

2 weeks prior to procedure and hospital had no information on planned surgery. Tried contacting for almost 2 weeks to confirm what was going on and was given the run around until I asked to speak to the manager and instead of being understood or checking into the matter I got very unprofessional attitude as a response. We are all busy however when patients need information and understanding being the last procedure was canceled without notice or a call after already getting covid test done; it’s nice to be professional and kind while resolving the matter.

I was so nervous, and the staff here was incredible at getting me to relax. I had Dr. Mejia and he was very personable with a great bedside manner. Thank you to all!!

I was dying of nerves !! But inside I talked to Rachel and I felt more confident, then I met Dr. Mejias it was a very quick but informative visit. Then Vanessa and the whole team made me feel safe. Very good team!!

I usually give nothing but great reviews but this puzzles me:I am trying to book an appointment for ultrasound with Simon Med Imaging on some test this office asked me to have prior to an upcoming Colonoscopy and Endoscopy. The doctors have been great in the past but now calling their office is not. Is nothing but trouble for me get through to them. This is the third time trying to get help. They paperwork is unclear and the lab SMI refuses to book me without clarification which I understand. They even tried in my behalf and werent help. It seems as if OG desk doesnt seem to have genuine interest in helping so why should I trust my upcoming procedure with their doctor then?...I feel like cancelling everything and look for another provider. Please prove me wrong. Thank you.Updating this post: I took me a couple extra calls but they helped me as expected. Not five stars at this time because of what happened but all good.

This office is very well organized, team oriented. Jennifer and nursing department are on time with phone calls. Everybody have a nice and professional attitude.Colonoscopies are not fun, without the support of secretaries, nurses and good doctors everybody will run away from them.

I have visited the Millenia surgery center multiple times for a procedure and the staff there is amazing. I am always anxious before the procedure and the amount of care that they take is something I have never experienced. I want to personally thank them for making it so comfortable and easy. My appointment thru telepath went extremely well. The staff was thorough and professional in particular Jasmine followed up several times to make sure my chart and information was complete. There is no way to reach the Doctors Office by phone. You leave messages and there is not response. It is ashamed. Since the Doctor is the best.

Covid times! I was very nervous about seeing a doctor and getting procedures done. Turns out, I didn’t have to worry so much. My consultation was over telephone, so I avoided an in-person office visit. Beth the NP was extremely patient and helpful. Dr. Pothamsetty did my colonoscopy at the Millenia Surgery Center, and it was pretty obvious they took all precautions possible. The procedure itself was a breeze, didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. Dr. Pothamsetty came out soon after my I woke up and explained everything he found, and the plan of care. Nice doc, would recommend without hesitation.

It is the second time I go. I like the attention, it is well organized and they are very professional. On this occasion, Dr Mejias, who is my doctor, treated me and I felt calmer. But really in general the whole team is exceptional.

The service and treatment of the nurses and Dr. Mejias was excellent and they were very professional, they treated me as if we had known each other for a long time that gave me confidence and made me relax before the procedure. And they speak Spanish I recommend it 100%.
