Dr. Ahmed is one of the best doctors I have ever met. He is compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and takes his time with his patients. He thoroughly answered all of my questions. I recommend him to all of my friends and family.

My experience so far has been negative overall. There were no complications with my procedurewith Dr. Ahmed but I only wish my visits to his office were a little more pleasant. He always seems to be in a horrid mood, ill-tempered, and likes to cut me off when I speak to him. He’s extremely rude and unprofessional. The office staff were very courteous and friendly however, probably the only highlight of my most recent visit.

Why does my husband keep getting a text from his office about an appointment that was never made for June 8 2021? We never called for an appointment.

Dr. Ahmed is an excellent physician who is well respected in the community. He has exceptional clinical knowledge and bedside manner. I can tell that he makes a point to spend time with every patient. He was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. He had an extremely courteous and friendly office staff. He is a trusted physician that I would not hesitant to recommend to my family or loved ones.

I was very impressed with Dr. Ahmed and his entire staff. From my initial consultation to my procedure and my follow up appointment, Dr. Ahmed and his staff walked me through the whole process, explained everything in detail and even took the time to answer all my questions.

I rely on my insurance to get a list of physicians would accept my plan. I received a list of GI doctors and the hard part was decide, decide or decide. Although Dr. Phillips is quite a drive for me, I was able to get an appointment relatively soon. When I called, the staff explained what I needed and processed all the insurance information. Long story short, got there early than scheduled but I didn’t encountered any surprises. Dr. Ahmed is very friendly and at the same time old fashion physician. He asked lots of questions about my health. Some of them redundant but necessary for my treatment.I was supposed to schedule a procedure but i haven’t yet. Is my fault for not taking care of myself they way I am supposed to. His staff is friendly so I think I can call to schedule my procedure at the last minute, however I am not going to push my luck or put pressure on them. I will keep Dr. Ahmed as my GI. Keep on the good service.

Doctor Ahmed is such and easy going doctor, he listens and He explains everything thoroughly. He is very profesional and you can tell he has tons of experience. Very nice doctor and very nice staff. I not only consulted him but I also had procedures done by him. If you’re looking for a gastroenterologist, He is a reliable and nice doctor!

The experience is excellent at Dr. Ahmed office. The staff are helpful and friendly, such an act for detail and makes you feel good and not scared about getting a procedure done or any type of testing. Dr Ahmed is a very gentle and caring person. He is a thoroughly competent physician.I recently had a colonoscopy done and it was the most painless procedure ever.

Most rude, non-empathetic faculty that I’ve ever encountered. Was seen by an urgent care who sent me a referral to them as my digestive tract was very swollen, within my insurance network, only to have a MARIA call me 2 hours before my appointment that they need a referral from my primary or my ins won’t pay. I called my insurance who then called her to inform her my type of hmo plan does not require the referral from a primary, however she was extremely rude and refused to schedule me. I then asked to speak to a manager and she stated she was the manager. If MARIA is a manager this place is set for failure. Not quite sure how she got there as she sounded like a terrible, non-empathetic human being, just terrible!

Unable to get in contact with office as numbers provide are not in service. I am in need of a urgent appointment...

Super approachable and his staff is sweet. I recommend him.

Have seen Dr. Ahmed several times after Dr. Alar retired. I find him more than qualified. Recently, he performed a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. It is shame that several people have had a bad experience. I would not think this to be the norm!

From Doctor To Staff Great!¡

After blood work results indicated that I likely had cancer, my wife realized we needed to see a Gastroenterologist ASAP. Someone affiliated with Florida Hospital, who did not know him personally, only his expertise and reputation, suggested Dr. Ahmed. I called his office late in the afternoon and when I explained the reason for urgency, he saw us the next morning! Dr. Ahmed then ordered an Endoscopic Ultrasound/Biopsy and worked with Florida Hospital to get that scheduled quickly and even texted me on a Saturday! Then, on the day of the EUS, Dr. Ahmed was at the hospital and checked in with us while we were getting the bad news. He took 45 minutes of his own time to arrange for me to get a CT scan that same day, so we would not need to come back and delay the treatment process. He also called an oncologist and asked him to treat me. The oncologist contacted us personally and became our medical oncologist. Needless to say, Dr. Ahmed went WAY ABOVE and beyond for us. He is the MOST caring and compassionate doctor we have ever encountered. He is a good friend to us. We are still seeing him and are so grateful for his significant part in keeping me alive. Dr. Ahmed did a procedure on me this morning to alleviate some problems I was having. I would like to reiterate that Dr. Ahmed is the MOST caring doctor either myself or my wife have ever seen. I recommend Dr Ahmed with the strongest recommendation possible! We have also gotten to know Dr. Ahmeds office staff (Maria, Sylvia and Louis) well. First of all his office is located on Turkey lake road. This orange ave address they are no longer there. You find that out after you are lost and call. Secondly he was told to prep for a colonoscopy which we did only too go to the surgery center and find out that no one had bothered to get an authorization at his officeso he was not given the colonoscopy after a grueling prep. Do not go to this doctor. Office staff is lacking.

Not really honest practice here. Typical of our failing medical system. Dr. Ahmed will fill his pockets with plenty of unnecessary test before even looking at you. Go elsewhere.
