My experience doesn’t validate or invalidate anyone else’s. But I’ve been under Dr. Hawes’ care several times now over the last 8 years for some highly specialized and difficult ERCP procedures. He always has treated me with respect, almost in a fatherly way and believed me when I said what I was struggling with. I can’t begin to tell you what that means after so many years of being neglected, dismissed and abused by so many doctors. He was very skilled and patient and offered compassion when they couldn’t find the answer during my last procedure. I’m grateful for what he did for me.

I am a combat veteran and the VA sent me to Doctor Hawes as he is the tops in the field of repairing esophageal strictures. I have had two treatments and am very pleased with the results so far. His team are superb and deserve their national rank within the top 20. I am thankful to the VA, the GI team at Advent, and Dr. Hawes. If I were to trust my life with someone outside a foxhole it would be this troop of surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists and even the receptionist who was gold star in her kindness and demeanor. Thank you!

Praying for better outcome this time around, second time around...... 7 month later, here we go again round three, given he did not perform my original hepaticojejuemotomy in 2011. He has been managing the task of keeping my biliary ducts clear and for that I am grateful .

My gastroenterologist refered me to Dr Hawes because my polyp was too difficult for normal removal. Incredibly this renowned specialist took time to explain to me why this procedure was difficult. I was amazed at his bedside manner. I was important enough to speak to. Thank you, Dr Hawes.

I was refered to Dr Hawes and their office received my records on Oct 30. I was told by them that it would be 2-3 days and they would call me to set up anappointment. It has now been14 days and I have left messages and called during office hours and always get answering service because they left early.but no return calls . I called my referral Dr and they called them and said they would call me that day...No call.! if Dr. Hawes does not want to see me then tell me. If he is as competent as his office help maybe I dont want to see him!

My husband was in critical condition fighting for his life in the hospital for 85 days! My baby was not supposed to live according to medical report, but according to God....ohhh ny God, said he would live. Over 26 doctors of every kind you can imagine saw him and treated him. He went from 1 hospital to 4. And ended up at Florida Hospital in Orlando. While ine dr. Placed a stent in the esophagus to seal a hole up that was the causr of the majority of his issues and infection, another dr . Added two more stents and left ny poor husband for two weeks with those metal meshes inside his throat and living like if he was a pig being tortured to then be walked to his day of death! After all hell broke lose and i demanded for my husband to be transformed to FL Hospital from Select Speciality across the street from them, thats when the doctors decided that if there would be one dr. That could fix this mess, that would be Dr. Hause!! And sure enough! That man came in with such much love and care, looked at my husband and was real! He was honest and said, buddy, i dont know what im going to so with you yet. I dont know what im about to find, but one thing is certain, those stents are coming out today! And he kept his word! He got my husband in there, worked on him for 1 hour and 45 minutes and when my husband came out, it was a new man who i saw! While we are still dealing with many other issues yet with his health, i can say that in two weeks my husband came home! The leak in the esophagus had sealed after an 85 day leak and no physician knowing what the hell to do about it. Dr. Hause is a true professional and a trailblazer in his field! Thank yoi Lord for allowing us to meet him. Thabk you Dr. Hause for your amazing wisdom, knowledge , and care.

Went to Orlando from West Tennessee for a procedure my Dr. told me he only trusted Dr. Hawes to do. He and his PA were very kind and he solved the problem with my Pancreas. If youre having issues with Pancreas Divism or strictures requiring ERCP; Dr. Hawes is THE expert.

My husband died after endoscopy from Dr Hawes. As my husband was struggling to breathe he left to do another procedure. Staff absent. Said they were monitoring from a distance bit never came while alarms were ringing.
