I’ve found doctor Hardy’s office back in 2012 when I moved to Orlando. Best practice I’ve ever ran across in my lifetime! When you walk in the staff is exceptional and kind to the nurses that assist and then there is Doctor Hardy!Unique in every way! He makes you feel like family, sits with you and digs in to understand what it is your feeling and going through and finds the resolution! Your not just another sign in patient to his office! He definitely is a one of a kind and you just don’t find that empathy from a doctor just anywhere! My entire family goes to see him and his staff and if he is booked up the staff will see what they can do to fit you in so you can be seen by one of his amazing assistants as well!I highly recommend Doctor Hardy and he should get the doctor award of not only taking care of his patients but he well understanding of helping them!

Service is terrible, was in the ER with extremely high blood pressure 196/134 and an extreme migraine was told to get an appointment immediately with my provider so they can but me on the current meds. Legacy Family was to busy and could not get me an appointment for close to 2 months. I would probably and a stoke by then. Terrible Doctor’s office and would not recommend going to them. Will be change mine primary ASAP!! Oh gave 1 star because I couldn’t give them a 0! To replay back to there reply. If I could get an appointment in a timely manner I would have came back and done my follow ups but sadly that’s not the case. Also I was very curious to you and even said any day any time you have an opening I would be free, I’m fully flexing. Sorry, I said that an appointment 2 months from now was ridiculous do to the meds I was giving at the hospital would be gone. I guess I don’t spend enough money at your office to get good service. Very sad!!!

I went to the office and I was seen by Brooke Hinga, P.A. and I was very pleased. She was very attentive and ordered various labs and screenings. I return for the follow up visit and she explained the results from the labs and screenings and offered solutions to improve my health . Most suggestions were holistic solutions and she ordered additional testing for others. I haven’t had a physical like this in many years. She listen to my concerns.I would recommend this office to all my friends and family.

A couple of years ago, I was a patient here. When google popped this request to leave a review, I was hesitant. Being that it is a review based on my OWN experiences, here it goes. More than a couple of times I was very uncomfortable here after my appointments. There should always be a female assistant in the room when the Doctor is with the patient. I shared these events with my other fellow neighbors that have gone to Dr. Hardy. Turns out I wasn’t the only person who shared the same issues. This place may be great for others, but unfortunately it was not the case for me. That is all I will say. Best wishes!

I want to warn everyone against Legacy Family Medicine Office. They have been liars and charging me for services I never received. Be very careful if you are a patient there or better yet find an honest doctors office! My appointment was made 5 months before for a preventive care visit which was supposed to be covered by the insurance 100%, I am in good health with no issues. When I went in for the appointment the lady at the front desk was on the phone the whole time and didn’t even speak to me. But I confirmed with the nurse and the doctor that I was there for a preventative care visit. After a few weeks I received a bill from Legacy Family Medicine for a regular primary care visit which is not covered by my insurance. Later the office lied to me and told me and my insurance that they told me this would be a primary care visit. My question is why would I book a primary care visit 5 months in advance having no health issues? I wouldn’t. I ended up paying for the visit to avoid dealing with them any more and changed my doctors office.

Today was my first visit to the office (and to any doctor in years), and it went great! I had an appointment and I was taken in super quickly (if you fill out the forms online beforehand, you wont need to wait for very long in the lobby when your time comes haha)! Dr. Hardy was super nice, respectful, and was very courteous with how he asked questions and didnt make me feel uncomfortable in the slightest. Im very happy to finally be back on track with my health, and glad to be in good hands. Thank you to the staff here and Dr. Hardy!

Extremely disappointed and in disbelieve with the lack of professionalism and ambition from PA Maria Lipari and her staff. My father who is 64 years went in with some health concerns and got asked to do blood work to determine what he had prior to leaving his appointment he was scheduled a follow up visit a month out from when we first visited Lipari. She told us if there was something urgent, she would let us know prior to our appointment but we never heard from her assuming everything was okay. When we went to our follow up appointment -again a month out from our first visit, we found out my father’s arteries are extremely blocked, the MAP readings should be between 70-110 Mmhg and his are at 600! This is a HUGE medical negligence as this is something that can cause a heart attack or stroke at any given time! We never received a phone call from Lipari or her staff and they were as shocked as my father was when delivering the news. The lack of care and sensitivity to a matter of this caliber should have not waited a month, we are dealing with someone’s life here.

I would rather self pay for my appointments here than use my insurance and see my doctors. The front staff is super helpful and polite! Dr. Hardy is phenomenal!!! I saw 3 other doctors before him and he finally made me better. He reduced my pain in 1 day with NO PAIN MEDS, that’s awesome to me! my antibiotics caused major discomfort, he didn’t question me at all he simply called me in something for nausea. My mom and my grandmother are regular patients here, they usually see Dr. Maria L but both love Dr Hardy as well. I would recommend this office in heartbeat!!!!

Good practice! Wish the ladies at the front had a little more personality, maybe smile once in a while. Literally greeted with “your name?” Not even looking up from her screen...no “hello”, “how’s your day?” Sometimes I feel like I’m annoying then when I’m coming in because I’m sick. Where is the customer service?I called yesterday to see if I could come in for a sick visit. Was told to come to the after hours walk in clinic from 4pm-6pm. Arrived at 4:00 to a full waiting room only to be denied saying they were at capacity for the walk in clinic (8 patients could only be seen). I told the scheduled I was confused as I was told the clinic was 4pm-6pm, I arrived as scheduled. I asked her what time they opened their door and she said 3:45pm...I explained to her that was fair because I spoke to her over the phone this morning and she told me to arrive at 4...not 3:45. You see I understand they’re at capacity and there’s only a certain amount that could be seen I get it!! But they did not mention the fine print over the phone otherwise I would have came before 3:45 to stand at the door. Worst is the scheduled wasn’t even apologetic just said “oh try to come back tomorrow.” The girls in the front really lack luster, compassion, empathy, and communication.Word to the wise if you’re going to the walk in clinic...arrive 30 mins prior and may the odds be ever in your favor. Again I enjoy the physicians I see which is hard to come but these girls in the front don’t realize they’re the face of the company.

I found the nurse practitioner cold, curt and non caring. Instead of asking about all my health issues, her first concern was to tell me they do not write a prescription for what I had been taking for 7 years. I have never had a problem before. They gave me an RX FOR 25 pills , made me sign a form I would never request from any other Dr and will go see a psychiatrist. When I got home I was livid! I hadnt even seen the Dr yet and that should have been discussed with him ! All appts cancelled, return the letter and you can have your damn 25 pills!!! I am not a drug addict Im 67 and thats how they made me feel! And these were not codeine pills. I will find someone else with compassion!

First and foremost it has been a pleasure to be a part of the Legacy Family Medicine practice for the past four years. I have been a traveler and Dr. Hardy was everything I always look for in a doctor and more. His kindness, compassion, understanding and bedside manners are impeccable! I had an experience with his PA bed side manners maybe a year ago that disturb me however, I just chose not to be seen by her again. His staff has a way of making every visit comfortable and pleasant so that is why it saddens me to have to come to an abrupt halt with my visits to the office.I began to feel a sense of uneasiness with the assistance in back office. As they would check me in and ask what is the reason for my visit? I began to state the reason and I would be stopped you cant be seen but for one thing. In four years of being a patient at that office that was unusual because because of my health, no one thing just happens there are always several things happening at the same time. For three visits I was told that I could not address something I needed to address. I had been in the hospital and because I had an appointment I thought I would mention being in the hospital and when I asked if they would pull the notes of my hospital visit I was informed that I couldnt be seen for both things. So I became upset tears filled my eyes and I had to decide what I thought would be the most important. I had to start scheduling separate appointments for everything and I became overwhelmed. Things were happening with my body some things happen over and over at the same times but I had to schedule separate appointment. I would get tests done but my next visit would be because of the next thing I was having problems with not to get results of the previous visit. I just became so frustrated and discombobulated. I didnt know whether I was coming or going. It got to be so unpleasant going in for a visit. It began in the triage area/back office and then after four years of being a part of that office I got my appointment time mixed up and I was on my way to an appointment and I received a call you had a 9:30 appointment. I stated no my appointment is at 10 am. Fast forward they would have to reschedule, I stopped by the office by the end of the phone call, but was still disappointed. I would have to believe the staff follows the instruction of the doctor but I dont understand why attitudes changed towards me.I have not gotten test results from some of the visits because going in was more stressful than me worrying about what was going on with my body. So now I am just praying for guidance and wondering where do I go from this point. For the most part Dr. Hardy is/was very knowledgeable and I appreciated being his patient. Also, I know I would have enjoyed working with Brook.~Sadden Spirit

Staff is wonderful, Dr. Hardy truly cares about his patients and it shows. Experienced staff makes all the difference. Glenda is wonderful and makes the effort to resolve issues diligently, even going so far as to request the number for insurance, calling them while balancing two phone lines, and resolving authorization issues for equipment and prescription requests that others would have left in a fax queue or got to when they got to it. The little things like this keep me a patient with them because it is what separates them from the rest. Keep up the good work!

Initially the visits were great. Also I think Dr. Hardy was wonderful with me as was Glenda and the staff members that I spoke to when I called. I am a cancer survivor patient and was starting the process to get approved for Medical Marijuana. I received a letter in the mail that Dr. Hardy is no longer prescribing this due to a recent legislation. The legislation the office is referring to is one that passed about 2 to 4 months before I started going to the office. Literally I was approved a few days after receiving the letter so I call the Office Manager. No response and she asks that I email her b/c she states she never received the first message. We exchange emails. Long story short. My specific questions regarding whether I need a new doctor to continue the process are answered with vague and unhelpful replies. If anyone else is in this situation, call the Compassionate Use Office, they will assist you with reassigning a new doctor to you. Had the situation been handled differently and explained that I needed to be reassigned clearly instead of with vague responses, I may still be a patient for my other issues.Edited to respond to owner: Because of the wording of the letter, when it came (a few days before my status update) and the fact that I am new to the process, I asked for clarity and asked three people in this office specifically if I needed a new doctor. I think this is a fair and straightforward question that your office, including the Office Manager, should be able to answer.

I was put into the room for the PA, Brooke Hinga, who came in probably 2 minutes after. I was at the center for maybe 40 minutes, and 90% of that time was spent with a provider addressing concerns. I followed Dr. Hardy to Legacy Family medicine. It is hard to find a medical provider that is intelligent, compassionate and with the bedside manners of Dr. Hardy. His staff is trained to make you feel confortable and informed. I cant talk highly enough of Dr. Hardy and staff. If you are searching for a primary care doctor that will help you, hear you, and will put his whole heart in your treatment, then this is the guy you got to see. Some of the bitter and damaging comments here really surprise me. It is really easy, if you have insurance there is always a copay or deductible. It is part of your contract worh your insurance. Therefore, any doctor has to collect payment. Dont expect services to be rendered for free, it is your responsibility to know how your insurance work. There is no insurance that pays for everything. So for you reviewing this amazing doctor and office in a negative way, I have never had a money issue with this office and what I got charged was my responsibility! Going back to the subject, Dr. Hardy is simply the best!

Having had a Dr that I was comfortable with for 15 years was HUGE for me. I have dealt with many issues over the years and have always had a fear of the doctors office. 2 years ago, I got divorced. My insurance changed and I was forced to find a new Doc. After seeing a couple that I was simply not happy with, I met Dr. Hardy of Legacy Family Medicine yesterday. I cannot say enough how happy I am to have seen him. I have not had a doctor who showed more compassion, understanding, and took the time to listen and explain things in detail. He never rushed me, clearly knew his stuff, and has a bedside manner that is second to none. If you happen to live in the East Orlando area and are looking for a new primary care physician, then this is your guy. I am very tough to please, and definitely not the easiest patient to accommodate. Yet I have not a single complaint. His receptionist was super sweet, smiling, and efficient. How often do you go to the doctor and see a happy receptionist? Normally they look disgusted and treat you like a number and not a person. His nurse/assistant (sorry, I do not know her name or title) was equally as nice. She was pleasant, conversational, and did not give me a hard time when I asked if I can wait on the blood pressure and have the doctor do it himself. Just an issue of mine and I normally get met with resistance. Not yesterday. She was great! I never thought I would say that I had a great experience at ANY doctors office, but I am very happy that I found Dr. Hardy and feel comfort knowing that I will be in good care for the foreseeable future.

She was attentive, kind, and professional. She listened, examined, and took her time with me. She KNOWS her stuff, I dare say, better than some of the doctors Ive encountered in the past. After she was done, Dr. Hardy came in to introduce himself since it was my first visit there. It says a lot when a busy doctor takes the time to actually introduce himself to a patient of his practice that is not scheduled to see him. Doctor made me do two appointments for my wellness check and charged for the second appointment which was for the lab results. Never mentioned I could have opt out of the second appointment, combined the two appointments or that the second appointment was not part of the wellness check. When I called to set up a wellness check they automatically made the two appointments so very confused how this misunderstanding could have happened. Bad experience with this office related to office visit payments. I had some visits from over a year ago that did not get covered from insurance. I was not notified until May this year (after 12 months) and have since moved and switched doctors. Their courtesy to let me know I have a remaining balance was to send a text saying we will send this to collections after almost one year. So from May 2016 to March 2017 - no notifications of overdue balance or anything saying that you have an overdue balance. After trying to resolve on the phone the situation, they explained the last representative who handled billing has since moved on and they did not uncover this till just recently (one year later). The experience at this office seems right in that they have a good patient care experience but this billing experience was very unorganized and had the poorest communication. Just to clarify this doesnt seem like the norm but I did not get a proper resolution after talking with the rep.

Response to the owner of Legacy Family Medicine -You do have the right to respond and defend your business, but you do not have the right to answer with lies, and mistruths.1- No staff member told me how long the waiting time will be. No staff member spoke to me at all, apart from asking me to fill in a new patients form.2- I had no idea of what tests that I was about to do. No doctor told me anything about the tests including a $441 urine test, that I didnt want, and objected to, but was told that it was all a part of the process. I did not sign any consent forms of any sort. I only filled out a new patients form. One interesting thing that I did notice though, there were many urine bottles in the bathroom, ready for the next patient. Interesting.3- I know that there are now strict laws in Florida concerning narcotic drugs and there is a lot of abuse of these products, but I have been to 2 other medical clinics since moving to Florida for Tylenol 3 and have had all the legal checks including blood pressure tests, pulse rate check and other basic checks before I got the script, but nothing as intrusive and as expensive as your clinic.4- This answer from you was really annoying. I didnt make a follow up appointment, as you suggested. I was so annoyed when I left the clinic, that I told the lady at the counter that I will never return. There is no way in the world that I made a future appointment with you. They were random appointment days that your clinic tried to get me to attend through text messages. You were not even in the reception area when I was there, so how would you even know if I made a follow up appointment?---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The worst Medical Clinic that I have ever been to in Orlando. I went there to get a new script for tylenol 3 for my migraines. They accepted my health insurance plan, so I thought Id give them a try. I was there for over 2 hours, which was annoying, as there was only about 5 people in the clinic at the time. Well, after doing all sorts of unwanted tests, that I didnt authorise, I received a bill for $441, that I have to now sort out with my health insurance company. I would never ever recommend Legacy Family Medicine. They also sent me text messages for a follow up appointment with a time and date they organised for me. What sort of clinic makes an appointment for you and then expects you to turn up?

First, I used their contact form to inquire if they were accepting new patients as I was diagnosed with high blood pressure at a walk in clinic. Despite the claim of 24-72 hour response, three days later they hadnt replied. I called them and its three weeks before a physicians assistant could see me and two months before the actual doctor would be available. Getting on meds for high blood pressure I thought was a pretty pressing issue, but apparently not at this office!Update: 1/22/16 The office manager did contact me this morning upon learning of the review. She was very pleasant, apologized and indicated they do try to get patients with hypertension in well before the time frame I was given. An appointment was made basically at my earliest available time. Ill do another update after my visit.Update: 8/20/16 I refilled my blood pressure prescription via text with Walgreens on a Thursday. I was told it wasnt ready so I went in on Saturday to inquire about it. I was told they faxed the doctor about a refill and had yet to hear back from them. Since I was out of medication by this point, I contacted the doctors office via the internet. Knowing they were closed on weekends, I didnt expect to get a response until Monday. A nurse at Dr. Hardys office sent me an email Saturday afternoon asking for the pharmacy information so Dr. Hardy could get my prescription refilled as soon as possible! It was refilled over the weekend thanks to their efforts. I only go to the doctors office when Im really sick, so this level of service was very appreciated!
