I wanted to let the College Park community know that this office is a hidden gem on Rugby Street. Anna was able to perform an intricate repair on an expensive pair of Ralph Lauren frames that would have cost me hundreds of dollars to repair.. Her unique skill set proves that this office goes above and beyond your expectations!!! All of the staff members are professional and congenial. They also have a well stocked frame inventory if you need some ideas! Keep up the great work!!

College Park Eye Care has been my eye doctor for about a year now. Excellent service always, the latest is when I just popped in over lunch. The doctor adjusted 2 pairs of eyeglasses and even a new pair of sunglasses. When I tried to pay, my money was no good. Service matters and this office understands that. Highly recommended!

My experience at the Center was nothing but amazing, the staff up at the front desk made my visit so wonderful and easy they r both two beautiful spirits with nothing but a bright light shiny over them, I feed off of people energy and their energy was awesome !!!! The Young lady that took my pictures thank u for making it painless for me your spirit is also very bright as well.. and to the Provider you “Rock “ you really know your stuff I learned a lot from you about my eyes thank you so much for taking out the time and really examining me your energy had a lot of light and compassion it’s been years sense I felt that from a person I will definately be coming back and will put the word out to anyone I know that needs eye care.. From the minute I walked in I felt very comfortable! Every single staff member is nice, and for it to be this early in the morning everyone seems to be in a beautiful mood. Both ladies front of house are honest in what they do. Meaning: No surprises. I wanted to have the sunglasses option to my glasses, and it turned out I need only reading glasses for my phone, and my computer/tablets etc. At first!! I had a set price, and after finding this out one of the front desk ladies (Anna) informed me that they weren’t even really necessary, and just took that off for me. Anyone else would have worried about commission. Ms. Mary now? She helped me pick out my glasses! She gassed me up, and informed me of how good I looked, and how fun the glasses I picked were. Keep in mind I came in, in a crazy curly mess of a bun, sweats, and a crop top. The one lady that helped me out with the first part of the exam, I forgot her name, but honeyyy! You complimented me, on not only my shirt, but I mentioned that I lost about 65lbs since last year, and she congratulated me! The doctor is super gentle, and the place is very clean. I felt right at home. I’m not sure why some people leave bad reviews? I had zero issues; It was actually quite the opposite. I’ll be como by back on my next vision check up for sure!

Im a new patient and absolutely had the best experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and didnt rush me at all through the appointment or picking out glasses. Im so glad this is where I chose to go. Id definitely recommend them!

I traveled from Ohio to College Park, FL to attend my sons graduation from UCF, and while there, the rubber nose piece fell off of my glasses. Desperate to find a local place to get my glasses repaired, I called College Park Eye Care . They told me to come right over and theyd try their best to help me out. The staff were very friendly, the office is beautiful and they have an endless selection of eye wear. Most importanly, they fixed my glasses so I could watch my son walk across the stage! I was happy with the attention at the front desk. I cant tell that they are scamming anyone but they sure are not telling you about the fine print. I know Id have paid a lot less somewhere else but I trusted them and felt comfortable. Not communicating information properly is as bad as lying about it. Just ask a lot of questions, check prices elsewhere before ordering anything and make sure that you dont are pressure to do anything until you are ready. I got 3 pairs of prescription glasses the overall out pocket was over $ 1,400 (plus whatever they charged the Insurance). I showed interest on contacts and they said that for the fee they will train me (which they did), and change de prescription as many times as needed at not additional charge until I was satisfied. I got a recurring eye infection and they told me to wait until it was cure before checking how the contacts were working for me. I didnt ask for multi focals but that was the Dr. recommendation (which are of course more expensive), after I was still feeling uneasy driving with them. They changed the prescription for the 3rd time and the Dr. told me to order the contacts at the front desk, I said Id rather to wait in case the new formula still didnt work well for driving (I explained I drive a lot due my work), she said not to worry that any opened boxes could be returned. I still wasnt sure but Anna at the front desk who had been always great assured me that it wouldnt be a problem. I still didnt feel good driving so I went back today, they charged me $35 for the visits now, because its not until you feel comfortable but for 90 days but nobody bothered to tell me that when they first offered the service, still I dealed with it giving them the benefit of the doubt trying to believe that they might said it and I missed it, but today they changed my prescription to single vision (less expensive) and I can drive comfortablyWe could have done that since day one and Id have the contacts that I needed and not useless expensive ones for the garbage, because of course they couldnt returned the contacts since the 6 months box was opened, there are 4 boxes of each lense unopened...If I didnt have to use them during the trial period (now they still call it trial) then why I needed to order them before being sure that was the right prescription? Once I said I am not going back they decided it was appropriate to be rude. I was never disrespectful and I know it was my fault for trusting them, I should have gone with my gut. I hope you do go with your intuition.I am changing my rating because Dr. Janine wasnt at the office when I had the issues but still she took the time to call me and do her best to set things right. She has been always respectful and nice to me.

Bought my son a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses for his birthday and had original lenses replaced with his prescription by College Park Eyecare. They did a phenomenal job. I would highly recommend them and Id use them again and again. - Mary J.- Very happy patient.

I called and asked upfront if I could get an eye exam and walk out with a prescription and my PD to purchase glasses elsewhere and was told yes. I was upfront that I would not be buying glasses there. I would not have made the appointment otherwise. It wasnt until after my exam that the person in the office very abruptly refused to do my PD. I ask to speak with the doctor. The doctor acted like it was out of her hands but said that she would contact the owner later that day. I was sent home without it. After a little bit of searching on Google it seems pretty common to ask for and receive your PD measurement at an eye exam. If it was not going to be included I shouldve been told when I called and not after my exam. After I left they offered to have me come back in and charge me to measure my PD. I let them know that is still unacceptable. Finally they said that they would give me the estimated PD that they took during my exam. So, it appears that they had it the whole time. It is amazing how a simple eye exam appointment has turned into this much of a fiasco and a waste of time.

I am so glad I listened & read all the good opinions everyone had about Dr. Armesto & staff!I certainly was not disappointed. I felt like I knew Beth before I even came for my appointment. Everyone was very knowledgeable, professional, & so personable. A fun place to be! I especially appreciated Dr. Armesto explaining everything she was doing & showing me the different visuals......also, so very polite & considerate!Never felt rushed or pressured! 👍🤗💕

Anna at the front desk is so helpful and friendly! She went above and beyond helping me find the perfect frames quickly! My son also had an eye exam and although he doesn’t need glasses yet Dr. Armesto and her staff were able to fit him in the cutest little pair of ray-bans! Their service is amazing!

When moving to Florida last summer, finding a new eye doctor was on the top of our list. If you have ever moved out of state before, you know that finding all new services can be challenging, especially if you have no reference from family, friends, or neighbors. That said, I did what many people do and went straight to Google. I rely heavily on reviews, based on the aforementioned. I found College Park Eye Care, which had good reviews and was also close to my home. I called to make an appointment, and they were extremely helpful and got me in within a week. I was pleasantly surprised that I didnt have to wait a month or more, like my previous state. The staff was kind, helpful, and answered my insurance questions. I met with Dr. Arnesto, who just might be the most patient doctor I have ever met. Not only did she take time to get to know me, but after my exam, she helped me to select the best contact lenses for me and then proceeded to help me pick out glasses! I have been seeing eye doctors for over 40 years, and never has the doctor helped me pick out glasses. Needless to say, I was impressed by the time she took with me, and continues to take, each time I am there. She now sees my husband and two sons, and they share the same opinion of College Park Eye Care as I do. My most recent visit, post COVID, was another excellent experience. The office was spotless (as always), everyone wore masks and followed all the necessary protocol. Once again, I felt confident about my visit. If you are in need of an eye doctor you have plenty of choices in Orlando. However, if you are seeking an exceptional eye doctor, I cant recommend Dr. Arnesto and her wonderful team enough.

I have finally found an eye doctor, Jeanine Armesto, that I can totally trust. I had a thorough exam with all the state of the art equipment. The staff was so friendly and Anna, who helped pick out my great frames and getting the perfect measurements for my progressive lenses was wonderful.I rate that 11 out of 10.

When you wear glasses all day and have for most of your life you are rather particular about who is your Doctor. I met Dr. Armesto at an event in Orlando after I moved and I could instantly tell she cared about her patients. Herself and her team put together a wonderful experience and do so with the highest of quality. Any questions I have, any issues I have, they are quick to help me resolve them. You dont get to see your eye doc very often but a good one really does make an impact and gives you clarity!

I have been wearing glasses since I was in second grade. I am now 15 years out of high school. This has been by far the best experience I have ever had in an eye exam. Year after year I have been going to different places Americas Best, LensCrafters visionworks, different private doctors and many more. I feel like the technology at this location is advanced and things were explained to me that have never been explained to me in all my years of terrible vision. I can actually see and the headaches that I suffered from for years have disappeared. I felt completely welcomed and I would highly recommend this practice to everyone and anyone. WOW! Great service and staff. The equipment is newer technology not outdated. The office is pretty and bright. Someone had good taste. Dr Armesto is pleasant and thorough. She takes the time to do it right and gave me advice that I didnt know I needed but when she said it I thought thats good to know I needed to know that. The staff is helpful, patient courteous and professional. I accidentally missed my first appt and the lady who called me was pleasant and showed no aggravation whatsoever in her tone of voice (people who do that waste their valuable time and money). And as a women it took me a little time to pick out my frames & the ladies at the front desk were helpful and patient. My glasses came fast and the most important thing of all my glasses are awesome. I see in high definition from close to far. I wear progressive lens tri focal and I can see distance, reading, computer, everything sharply and beautifully. I am so pleased! And when I look in the mirror, thanks to their help in picking them This average girl looks good. Thank you

Literally the best eye care facility I have ever been to! They truly care about making sure that you have the right prescription for your eyes (even if it takes 3 or 4 times). The moment you walk through the door your feel really welcomed, the facility is clean and the eye doctors are so pleasant. Highly recommend!

I was at work when my contact ripped off in my eye. Tried flushing it out at work and wasn’t sure if I got it out. I called at 2:10 and they said they could get me in at 230. I got there just after 230 and they got me into a room and doing work really fast. The staff and doctor were very nice. Highly recommend them 👍🏼👍🏼

It was my daughter first appointment and I got there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork since I was told I would receive before appointment which I didn’t! When arriving I was told that the doctor had her baby and they called everyone and i guess I was the one left off the list I never received any phone calls voicemails nor an email regarding this issue! I was beyond disappointed for a new patient welcoming! I will never return!! Thank you!

So the exam itself and front desk staff were great. If this review was just based on that Id love this place. However, when it came time to pay, there was NINTY, yes $90 of charges for things I never asked for during the exam. They did not tell me what they were doing were considered extras and just casually told me my final bill was much more than originally quoted when I called to make an appointment.The girl who does the billing (super sweet girl) went to talk to the doc about it and they somehow found an allowance for half of the $90 (why wasnt that there in the first place?). I finally talked to the doctor who insisted I either pay for the extra charges or I couldnt have my prescription records.I found a better doc and got everything I needed for a FRACTION of the price and way better customer service.It was overall very sneaky and sleezy to me. Would not recommend. If a practice is willing to try and breeze over charges and make you pay without your consent to such things, its not a place I want any part of.

I havent had an eye exam in 10 years. Books were giving me trouble. When Dr. Armesto realized I neglected myself, she ran me through the gamut. I thought I needed old lady glasses. I have astigmatism! Who knew? She was professional but also kind and understanding. A very personalized service. I like to support my neighborhood businesses and I would drive out of my way to go back to Dr Armesto even if I didnt live in the neighborhood. I appreciated how she explained some changes happening in my eyes (sun damage, etc) and tips on how to reverse the damage, no other eye doctor has ever taken the time to explain this to me. Also, I have astigmatism and it turns out I have been putting in my contacts wrong for years and she took the time to show me how to properly align them before putting them in. Cannot say enough nice things about this practice.

I have been a patient and customer of college park eye care for over a year now. I dont normally write reviews, but my recent experience at the practice -- both with the staff and Dr. Armesto -- were exceptional, so I wanted to share.There are not many doctors offices that feel as comfortable and refined as College Park Eye Care: when you walk in, you are instantly at ease. From there, the level of professionalism, hospitality, and the genuine care I sense from the team and Dr. Armesto is second to none - I always get prompt follow ups or notifications of upcoming appointments. Lastly, the selection of glasses really fits my needs and tastes -there are varying levels of quality, from entry level all the way up to designer frames. I personally bought a pair of prescription Costa del Mar and gucci sunglasses, and i cant believe I ever went without prescription shades!

Great staff and Dr. Always a pleasant visit! Highly recommend!
