Left her office with a blow to my self-esteem. Came in concerned over recent lab results and what I can do for them, and was told I’m just overweight have a large Adam’s apple (I am a female). I gained nothing from this appointment and left feeling worse than when I came in.

Called tried to make and appointment and the person was Sooooo Rude it made me change my mind. If a doctor cant assure that patience will be treated with respect prior to seeing her I dont care for her. By the way she does not diagnose she just treats what other doctors finds. Atleast if a good doctor gives me a diagnose I stay with him would not be looking for someone else. waste of time.

Please listen to the reviews!!! Dr. Huhn has horrible bed side manner and is extremely condescending and rude. I almost did not go back after my first appointment, but decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, however it was worse the second visit. She barely addressed my concerns and walked out in the middle of me talking. Clearly this is a common theme with her and I encourage you to not waste your time or money.

I am a self pay Patient. Asked at first visit if I need to come back in after blood and sonogram if all was good and was told yes. Get blood and sonogram done go to my follow up appointment. She comes in says all good and is ready to walk back out and I ask her “is that it” I paid you $120 for this. She turns to me and says “well I have to make a living too” I asked when I need to come back and she says never with that attitude. This is not the first time she was rude to me. I wouldn’t recommend seeing her. She clearly is more concerned about “making a living” than actually helping you.

My wife and I have never been to a more rude doctors office than this one. One nurse was very kind, but the doctor was not. Dr Huhn laughed at my wife, was very dry with her statements and insulted her in more than one way, including facial expressions. She did absolutely nothing. We self paid and are extremely unhappy. For someone to pay almost 200$ out of pocket and get treated the way we did, is so uncalled for and unprofessional. We will never go back there again, even though she may be knowledgeable and we advise you to ask around for a better office if you need to see an endocrinologist. My wife thankfully does not have a thyroid issue, but show a little grace and maybe not be so rude.

Dr. Huhn is a great doctor always analyzing A1C to lower for a patients future. She has impressed upon me to always wear my Dexcom G6 sensor to constantly monitor BG. Thank you.

I have never hated the doctors office until I had an appointment with Dr. Huhn. She is rude and insulting. I fought for over a month with my primary doctor to go back to Diabetes & Endocrine Center of Orlando because I loved Dr.Vaulk. Unfortunately he retired and she was the only person I could see, so I gave her a chance even after reading bad reviews on multiple websites. They asked me all of my symptoms and whats going on as usual, but she didnt go over any of them or how to help. She said I look fine so she didnt know what i could of possibly meant. She said that she can tell I hate vegetables and walks but I really should try them cause they could help me. I do work out and eat vegetables almost every single meal, but thanks for being insulting. She felt my neck since I have thyroid disease and said i was very plump and laughed at me.. I complained of being tired and she said well you are what you eat so... and pointed at my stomach.. I complained of being sick and she just said she thinks i have an immune problem, uh yeah I have thyroid disease which is an auto immune disease? so she referred me to a HIV specialist since he deals with Immune system disorders. So I spent a lot of time fighting to get an appointment just to be insulted and passed on to another doctor. I will be finding a new endocrinology doctor. Avoid her if you can.

Your better off seeking help in a third world country

I have been seeing Dr. Huhn every 3-4 months for 13 years and would never think of changing Endocrinologists. Some endos only see their patients once a year....to me that is ridiculous considering diabetes is ever changing. My insurance doesnt cover her anymore but I gladly self-pay to keep a great doctor. She is very knowledgeable and very matter of fact. She wants her patients to be well but if you keep challenging her or dont put in the effort she asks, why go to a doctor in the first place. I have challenged her before thinking I know best but she has ALWAYS been right and I am still in good health because of her persistence. She has helped me keep my diabetes under control for going on 13 years now...my AIC of 5.8 proves that.I wonder never put my diabetes management in the hands of anyone else other than Dr. Huhn.
