Update: Jamie reached out after she saw my original review and admitted that the receptionist I was working with is pretty new and not used to working with patients. I told her about my poor insurance/billing experience and she said that they failed in being up front and transparent, but they wanted to do better. Overall, the care I received was good from this place, they just need to be more up front and transparent about the billing and insurance process. They were nice enough to reimburse me for the out-of-pocket costs I incurred. I do appreciate them reaching out, even if it did take a Google review for them to go beyond just a we want our money call.Original post: Be sure to ask if they are covered by your insurance. I will thought they were, but only found out they were not after my visit when I received my bill. The front desk woman knew very well that it wasnt covered as she said immediately that they were not (this was the same person who took my insurance info at my first visit). I was assured during my second visit that they would work with me to figure out the problem and find a solution and that I shouldnt cancel my appointment. I never heard from them again except to collect their money. Be warned, if you are not covered by their insurance they do not care and they just want your money.

It was a pleasure meeting the staff from the moment I entered the office to consulting with the dentist, a highly professional person who takes time to get to know you and your personal history right from the start. Each member treated me as if they knew me like a family member.I thought I was in professional hands when the dental hygienist spent time with me on my first visit. I look forward to my next appointment and I would highly recommend this dentist office for those who are looking for a competent family dentist and establishment.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in a very long time before I visited O’Brien Dentistry. Needless to say, I had some work that needed to be done. I was terrified but the hygienists took such great care of me. Through each procedure they made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I highly recommend this practice!
