I’ve found wait times to be mostly great, though the lab and injection clinics can be slow. The people are efficient and polite.

I always get good service here. It is a bit crowded, and they usually dissuade you from getting an appointment if they can avoid it. If you truly need to see a doctor, just keep pressing for it, and they will eventually relent.

Tried to fill an OTC eye drop product with a prescription from my doctor so I can use my FSA dollars, the Pharm Tech, she read it WRONG and entered it as a glucoma medication.I’m glad I checked the box before I paid and noticed their mistake. When I explained to the tech this isn’t the correct meds and he had the nerve to say that’s what your doctor wrote. After showing him the photo of the hard copy script that the doc had written for the OTC product, he had to verify with the tech who originally entered the script in their system instead of verifying the actual pharmacist about the difference between the medication. As a new KP member, my experience is not the best and I won’t forget it either. It seems that the pharm techs and my doctor lack listening skills and everyone speaks at you in a very condescendingly tone too. While I wait another 20-30 mins to have the correct eye drops filled, very disappointed. Let me share my other experience with my PCP at KP involving the Pharmacy.First my KP doctor, she canceled my pharmacy request to have a new medication filled at KP that I transferred in from CVS without talking to me. Her assistant called me to give me the doctor’s message that she didn’t approve the medication. The doctor doesn’t understand my condition, it’s medically necessary, but it’s ok, I transferred it out back to CVS and got it filled with no problems, and it’s the same price as KP.Then, to get a script written as an OTC for FSA elig items took just about a week for her to understand the process. That was ridiculous with all the back and forth over email explaining why I needed a script written, the doctor said I needed to talk to my employer about my FSA account.Back to getting my drops. The price of the otc eye drops processed as a prescription costs significantly more than what they advertise on the shelf without the script. I don’t know why there’s a price difference it’s OTC. The only difference is that I’m trying to use my FSA debit card and got a script for it so I can file a claim. Wish the pharmacy was transparent on costs for all FSA elig products in there.

I went in on Dec 14th to pick up two new Rxs. The tech Christopher Cantora called me up and said his boss wanted to know why I was requesting a refill when I already had a 90 day supply . I informed him that I didnt want a REFILL but wanted the new Rx my Dr had put in for which is a 20 mg dosage, not 10 mg. OK Ill let my boss know.A few minutes later I was called to get my order. I paid and left. As I was walking out I looked over my order and noticed that I was STILL given the 10 mg instead of the 20mg. I went right back in and talked to Christopher Cantora and explained again that I didnt want the 10 mg because it wasnt a full 90 day supply that my Dr ordered. He said they didnt have the 20 mg and didnt want me to run out so they gave me the 10 mg which I could double. OK but thats still gonna leave me short meds and Ive already paid for it. Talk to your Dr he said. About what? She gave me the correct Rx.Sure enough my new Rx appeared in their system a cpl hrs later. Unbeknownst to me Kaiser has a policy of no refunds or returns once you take the meds. OK I can understand that. I dont want a refund or return. Since I made it clear the order I was picking up and it was duly noted by Christopher Cantora, Kaiser should not turn around and charge me for the said 20mg 90 day supply that I should have received in the first place. They should comp the 10 mg refill that they should not have filled.Im new to Kaiser and had no idea this is how patients are treated. They had a supervisor Amanda Kopp inform me of their policy and what not. You know the same old talk really nice and apologize profusely but still let you know that they cant help you because Kaiser has a policy. Screw the patient even though its the techs fault. I dont accept your apology and no, youre not sorry. If you were sorry you would make this situation right which Im sure you have the ability to do.So I was billed for the meds because I said I didnt have another $25 to pay for the meds I should have received in the first place. I was very clear when I went in on Dec 14th and Christopher Cantora acknowledged that.It would have been very helpful to know that the patient is just another number and they absolutely do not care that were humans with the same concerns, financial struggles and not least to mention health issues and concerns that the employees in that pharmacy also have to cope with.Do the right thing and take care of this situation. Im very unhappy with the service Ive received this far. Your policies should be clear and not used as a cudgel once the patient comes back to complain.Healthcare shouldnt be big business. The decisions you all arbitrarily make affect the patients and what may be pennies to you is a meal for another family. If you care you should actually show it by making this right!
