The doctors and staff here go above and beyond. More than once they have worked me in last minute when I had issues with small debris in my eye. From the doctors to the front desk staff everyone has been amazing for years. I even had an issue where I broke both my prescription glasses and sunglasses and had to do the warranty replacement. Well some may find annoying that replacing lenses after damaging frames can take time I appreciate how thorough they are here to make sure everything is properly fit. Even more impressive was when there was a back order issue from the manufacturer the office gave me a pair of loaner frames at no cost just to help me out. Additionally theyre communication is excellent as they gave me regular updates as to what was going on when there were issues with my warranty replacement.I highly recommend getting the warranty for your glasses as they will replace the lenses if you get the anti-scratch coverage and they get scratched anyways. Im quite rough on my glasses and have used the coverage so many times with zero issues or cost.As far as insurance goes, I have what I consider bad/ cheap insurance, as I had to go and purchase it myself, and Ive never had any issues here. The staff is great about making sure they know exactly what they can do for me and what my cost will be so there are no surprises.Also the doctors here are always learning about the newest latest and greatest for everything involving your eyes. They have a great range of frames and lens options as well so that you can truly take care of your eyes.

Had an excellent experience with this place. The eye care staff were super nice, extremely helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Dr Lau was awesome. Not only gave me a thorough examination but also explained every step and gave lots of options. I felt very comfortable and safe. They have a great selection of glasses and contacts, I ended up picking up new pairs of both. I would highly recommend this business, to anyone looking for professional eye care and not some in and out sales mill like some of the chain stores. Desert Vision actually cares about their patients and does exactly what they say they will. Excellent value and my speed of service was excellent.

Dr. Stella Lau is such an AMAZING Eye Doctor who is very detailed, knowledgeable, informative, careful, caring, professional, and very well equipped so patients can get proper diagnosis and feedback along with educated suggestions and recommendations. I only go to see her for myself and my family and I always recommend anyone to allow her to check their eyes before they go anywhere else. She is very honest, well educated, intelligent, good hearted and knows her stuff! I love her! Thank you Dr. Stella Lau and staff for always making me and my family feel welcomed and comfortable! We also appreciate how you always go out of your way to accommodate us, even when you are extremely busy or booked out for months!! Thank you!!!

Unbelievable!! Called for an appointment. I was told they refused to accept more than one patient a day if they had medicare. It did not matter that I also have excellent insurance through my retirement plan. They simply refused.

It was my first time to go here and the staff were nice. The doctor was also good and straight forward. I’ll give it 3 stars because one of the front office is not so accomodating and a little blunt. Other than that i recommend this place.

Very unprofessional. They made mistake after mistake on a simple lens replacement. After 7 weeks and 3 trips there I asked for my money back . They wouldnt even admit they made the mistakes. I am so disappointed and frustrated and still without my glasses... I had to call the insurance company to get my money back . Be careful.

Matthew the tech was awesome ! He was extremely patient with my 8 year old grandson. Dr. Choi was also patient and thorough. We both enjoyed our eye exams. I highly recommend choosing them. The office is clean and the ladies in the front are nice.

Dr. Lau and the staff are absolutely amazing. I have been back in Las Vegas for 7 years and It was hard to find a doctor that cares and it shows. She knows my family by name and has those conversations on topics that we have connected with over past visits. She is very personable friendly and you can tell she actually cares about her patients. She even saw me on days they were closed due to an injury to my eyes. I never felt like I was a burden just being taken care of. I will forever be a appreciative of her, and her staff. As long as she is a doctor I will be her patient.

Dr. Stella Lau OD goes above and beyond and always exceeds any and all expectations of what an Eye Doctor and professional friend would be! She knows her stuff and then some! She genuinely cares and takes such good care of all her patients and there is nothing she can’t handle! She and her office and staff are my “Go-To” place for eye care and optometry! A Must Go to experience it for yourself!

Brought my daughter in due to a drastic change in vision. We explained what was going on to Stella and said it seems to get worse over night to which she said vision doesnt change over night. Welp - it did. We asked given the information we gave her if we should just take our child to the ER and she responded with it will be a waste of your time just wait for the doctor so we did. We saw Yee and explained that our daughter had started running into things, was saying that it was dark and couldnt see us if we were right in front of her. She did the exam and said her eyes were healthy and wrote a prescription for basically reading glasses. I asked if it could be something more that she wasnt able to see and she stated that her running into things was likely ADD.My daughter is 3. ADD for a 3 year old?She said to wear the glasses for a month and come back.We took our daughter to the ER where they found a large tumor compressing her optic nerve.I dont expected this office to be able to identify and diagnose a brain tumor. I do expect that they listen and be able to identify the sudden onset of complete blindness and refer their patients to the proper medical professionals.The people at the ER who would have been a waste of time were able to notice that my child was blind and provided her with immediate medical attention.These two are idiots. Save yourself and go somewhere else.

Last weekend I called to find out if I would have a copay to get glasses with my Medicaid insurance. They checked the system first. They were nice on the phone and said that we would not have a copay. I came in today, they want me to pay $30some dollars for polyfilm on kids glasses. What? NO!Honesty matters.I went to LensCrafters on MLK and paid $6.06 for tax per pair.March 29, 2019.

Absolutely LOVE the new staff! When I used to go, I purposely made it a goal to get this one person to smile, it never worked. Dr Mazulla was great but he wanted to retire. Ive seen both Dr Choi and Dr Lau and was quite happy with my experience. Ive taken all 3 of my children, plus my husband and couldnt be more happy with the service, attentiveness and answers to all of my questions. Dr Lau also specializes in pediatrics and was able to give my daughter, who has Down Syndrome, a good exam. Very happy with all the changes....

Dr. Yee Choi was great, very professional and helpful. Dr. Stella K. Lau on the other hand is a sad replacement for Dr. Mazulla who has retired. I called in for my contact prescription and was told by Nikki and that I had to come in and get it. This was after she informed me that I could not get a new prescription because my insurance would not cover it. I came in and was informed that this was not the truth, I could not get a new prescription because my previous one had not yet expired. No clue why the young woman told me otherwise. Next issue, I came in at 2:25pm and requested the prescription, I did not get it until 4pm. I was confused about what was written and asked Dr. Stella K. Lau for assistance. She informed me that it was illegal for her to help me in any way. Her issue was that I was buying my contacts from 1800contacts. She told me that it was illegal to buy contacts online. As I was attempting to ask her a question she raised her voice and said she could not help me in any way. At this point other patients are asking me what happened and want to know why shes yelling, she was not affected at all as she interrupted my conversation with my Mother to tell me that she was the doctor and she wrote the prescription the correct way. I guess Optometrists dont need to have decent bedside manner. Of course, I ran this by Dr. Yee Choi who informed me that Dr. Stella K. Lau gave me the wrong information. She apologized for her partners behavior and helped me with my prescription. It literally took 1 minute. I dont have high hopes for the office now that Dr. Mazulla is gone . Dr. Yee is just one woman. The staff is less than stellar. I called the day before for assistance but they acted like I was speaking gibberish today. No one looks familiar anymore except for Dawn Turenne (who is always very sweet and helpful)and I was just here in November. I have been going here for 7 years and I will not return, I really hate that Dr. Mazulla has retired.
