I will say once you get checked in the care is great. Dr Milligan & his nurse always make me feel important & like they truly care. I feel very at home once you get checked into the back. The ladies at the front couldn’t be much ruder. It’s obvious they don’t care & they make it well known. That is a shame because the people at the front desk that should greet you, say hello, ask how you are, heck even smile if that’s possible for them, for I’m afraid their faces may crack! Anyhow those people you talk to on the phone & see right when you walk in the door can really make or break place!

Dr. West and her nurse practitioners truly care about your kids. They will not needlessly prescribe medicine unless your kids really need it. They offer hours to make sure sick kiddos are seen. You cant pick a better Pediatrician.

We’re new to the area, having moved from North Carolina and away from our beloved health care providers; but we couldn’t be happier with Norman Pediatrics! The facility is clean, bright, and modern. The administrative staff was very professional both during scheduling and check-in. Dr. West and her nurse (I’m blanking on her name!) were thorough and informative throughout the appointment. They made it easy for this first time mom to feel comfortable and confident in a new clinic — also, my two month old rolled over 3 times (including the first time ever!) so clearly my baby was pretty impressed by Dr. West and her staff as well ; )

Dr. Malony at Norman Pediatrics is absolutely fantastic. He is wonderful with all three of my young kiddos and knows how to make them feel comfortable and safe during their exams. He takes time to really listen as well and Ive never felt rushed. He is kind, attentive, and great with kids. I couldnt ask for more!

Doctors are great. Been there for 11 years. The new building is nice. Something changed when they moved. Their receptionists are some of the most unempathetic, rude people out there. If youre late, theyll give you lecture, laugh in your face when asked if they could check if the doctor will still see your children, then turn you away. Im mad, embarrassed, and in disbelief all at once. Not even 10min late after making a last min appointment at the end of the day. And we were turned away. They have no problem having us wait 20+min in the waiting room but for us to be shown no grace, and then being laughed at and lectured about being on time...I cant believe it.

They have some good doctors but their front desk people are rude. We were checking to this place for our child but decided to leave after few bad encounters we had over paper work and insurance. They often cannot find insurance info in their system and ask you do paperwork each time. One other issue is once you call for making appointment, it is impossible to get hold on anyone from 11-2 pm. Seems like a little long lunch break :)

I love this office and all of the staff! Dr. Jackson and Tina are phenomenal. They truly understand how much we love our kiddos and they do everything possible to treat them in the best and most professional way. We had an incident with our baby at daycare they were so caring and supportive. Their communication skills are top of the line and we even have had wonderful experiences with calling the nurses line and going in to the after hours clinic as well.

My son is 11 and has been seeing Dr. Stacy and Amy for 11 years. They are kind, caring, and do a great job listening to how is reacting and responding to treatment. He has childhood asthma, which has made our appointments more frequent that any parent wants, but I feel comfortable knowing they care so much about his health. I recommend this office without hesitation.

My son has had Dr. Stacy and Amy for his pediatric team for over 8 years now. I love them and their staff. One of my favorite aspects of their care is they value my input. They ask me what I see and my expertise at being his mom plays a role in their expertise at being his doctors. Highly recommend Dr. Stacy, Amy, and their team!

Dr. West is awesome. She is very nice and answers any questions and concerns we have! Takes her time and doesn’t feel like we are rushed out door. However, the front desk girls are extremely unpleasant. They never smile or greet you when you walk in. They are short with us and make my husband and I feel uncomfortable. Definitely need to be trained on better costumer service. Two friends who go here have also complained. If it wasn’t for the great doctor we would have left the first time.

I had a bad first experience with this office, but since have realized that first impressions dont always tell the truth. I took my son to another office in town for a year before switching to Dr. West at NPA. I am so happy with my change. I’m fostering a newborn child and called to set an appointment. It says that they accept all insurance including Soonercare, however the receptionist just told me that none of the pediatricians are accepting soonercare at all at this time. So, my newborn foster child is out of luck. I attend college in Norman and need a doctor that is close to home. But I guess I’ll have to drive all the way to OKC for an appointment. It leads me to believe that they only care about money. I would never recommend this list of physicians or doctor’s office to anyone. I feel let down.

Just switched peds 6 months ago. So glad I did. Most helpful doctors for your children. I have one child with Autism and one with a heart murmur and moderate asthma. Their pediatrician is well informed and helpful at all of my concerns. And the After Hours Clinic is great when your children are sick in the afternoon or weekends. Highly recommended.

My daughter had Dr. Milligan and I liked him and his practitioner during her check-ups, but I dont think they spent enough time with her when she was sick. I feel they didnt give me enough information on what was causing her sickness/pain and how I could help her. When I called to talk to the nurses for advice when she wasnt feeling well, they would talk to me like I was dumb and not give much help at all.

They violate hippa rights, if you have any custody problems, abusive exes or anybody that is a parent (even without rights), they will give them your information under any pressure. Whether its just one employee at the desk or not, thats unacceptable. Because now Im being harassed and I am looking over my shoulder constantly. My personal story is I was abused for 2 years, finally got away, the cops wouldnt let me leave with her if we as parents couldnt agree(which he wouldnt let me leave with her), he kept my daughter from me for a month and 5 days, his family got her back to me due to knowing hes unfit and he was trying to leave state with her, I took her to the doctor to get her checked out because he didnt take care of her and I changed all information including the restricted information sheet, I changed my number due to him harassing me, 3 months later he gets 2 felony counts of child abuse on another mothers children(not his but they have a daughter together), got practically stalked by him 3 times in August, and nothing until Wed Dec 12th, when I woke up to a text from him telling me he has copies of stuff from the doctors office, then he showed up at my work the following Sunday which right now was yesterday. My daughter and Is well-being has been compromised by this place because someone seems think a child abuser should have some right to something. They gave it to him because there was no court document saying he couldnt have it. Apparently. Which there wasnt court documents. But he was on the restricted list. Along with anyone other than myself or my mother. The law is, a child born out of wedlocks soul custodial parent is its mother. We were never married and therefore no automatic 50/50 is in place. By law he has to go to court to get any rights even if hes on the birth certificate.Point blank. Period. End of discussion.

Do not take your children here. We only continued to go here because of Martha the nurse practitioner but regretted every time we actually had to see one of the doctors because they are highly inappropriate and not professional when it comes to female patients. Doctor basically hit on my teenage daughter on multiple occasions. Regret ever choosing this place and putting my daughter in a very awkward and inappropriate position. We will not be back and I have told the medical board about the behavior of the doctors at this facility as it goes against the medical code of conduct.

Nothing pisses me off more than finding an incredible pediatrician and setting up an appointment for your kids well child checks, missing 1 appointment due to weather, not being able to get through within the next few days to reschedule, due to their office having the same hours as the one ypu work in, and then recieving a letter from the clinic that your being fired from the clinic because your children have had multiple no shows. (Not sure how that is possible when youve only been a patient since October but have never actually been seen except in the after hours clinic twice) You call the clinic to try and see what the heck is going on and they tell you that each of your children has 4 no shows, (never gonna happen, I work in a doctors office, and would never no show that many appointments) we have no showed 1 then they give you the run around for 2 weeks, never return calls and after multiple calls to the clinic they finally return your call once you call the nurse and ask her what the hell, and they say unfortuantely, the doctor says you have to find a new pediatrician. Um really? Im pretty sure if our doctors fired patients due to OUR OFFICE STAFFS NEGLIGENCE as front office clerks, we would have some pretty big bosses on our butts, not trying to be petty but when you find a pediatrician you love that works in a office of incapable schedulers, front office clerks, and facility manager. you get some mad parents of the patients. My kids went to the same pediatriac doctor for 10 years and we never had this problem and they dont tolerate no shows either. I guess when your just another body, or illness then they dont care because your easily replaceable and it doesnt matter on their paycheck now does it?!?!!! Ugh

I had a very bad experience with both Martha and Dr. Kuhls while my children were patients here. The minute our insurance changed to SoonerCare, nothing we said mattered. It got to the point of me requesting a different med because the medicine my daughter was prescribed for an earache was making her more sick, they told me to talk with her dad After I had already discussed this problem with her dad but still unsure why my conversation with her dad was important when he was not the one who prescribed the medicine to begin with. Im not sure if they were assuming he and I do not discuss medicine but that was not the subject, my daughters current health problem with the earache medicine was the problem. I have attempted to have medicine conversations with her father since she was 1 and was prescribed allergy meds by this office, proof is in the text messages Always. We were patients here since my sons birth (he is 10 and the incident with my daughter was less than 6 months ago) so the change in their demeanor towards us was very evident. That medicine could have caused more problems than she was already currently dealing with so if you are SoonerCare, beware of this office because rapport is irrelevant. Good luck!!
