Ive been going to Bayview medical and have the same doctor for almost 12 years and Ive never had a bad experience. Everyone here has always treated me with respect and super nice. I wont change my Dr or nurse. Much less this office. Also, waiting times have never been an issue. Of course I always make appts.

The staff here at Bayview Medical Center on Chesapeake Boulevard is outstanding. I came in with a terrible work injury and had no paperwork. Ms. Ilene at the front deskwas so understanding and helpful and polite with getting everything I needed including the care in service required. Nurse Jennifer, Dr. Mansfield and the X-ray tech all made what was terrible for me ok. This NOWCARE/BAYVIEW OFFICE Excellent exceptional and I appreciate them.🤩🤩🤩

OK, so this center has gotten a lot of critical reviews. I have no doubt that things could be better. However, Id like to share my own positive experience. I went there the other day for a drug screening. They called me back within 45 minutes. Reading all the reviews, I expected something just this side of hell. Imagine my surprise when I met Kearsta. She embodied the polar opposite of those reviews. She was cheerful, engaging, and helpful. Granted it was 9:00am, but her attitude was amazing. If I was able, Id have provided her 2 samples, she was that good. :^) Professionalism like hers could easily turn this center around...I suspect it already has begun. Thanks for defying expectations!

These people are an honest joke. Dr.Santacruz is the worst individual there besides the lazy people at the desk. He doesn’t answer any medical questions nor does he pay attention to you during the check up but he doesn’t have any issues joking an individual on someone’s weight gain. After he jokes about their weight gain he laughs it off. This place is terrible only good doctor there is Angela Frias

I had a wonderful experience at this urgent care center. The staff was kind and even though it seemed busy, they got me in quickly. The doctor was great and explained things in a way that I could understand. I will go back there if needed (hopefully not :). The place could definitely use a modern face lift (no pun intended) but dont let that stop you from going there

I was in and out very fast. Dr. Mansfield was honestly the nicest, kindest physician I have ever met. She was so caring and listened to me. I wish she saw patients outside of urgent care.

Called 3 days in advance to schedule an appointment to have my stitches removed. Notified them that i currently did not have insurance but I had no problem paying cash. The lady said it wasnt a problem that I didnt need an appointment just come in when I needed the stitches out. So fast forward 3 days, i get off work go in and was greeted by a lady in scrubs who asks me what Im there for from across the room. As she continues doing what she was doing. Luckily it was nothing discrete.. I then told her, she told me to sign in and take a seat. About 10 mins later she comes out, and says the doctor told her that they cant do it. To go back to the ER. Worse doctors experience ever. Wont be going back.

Been going here almost my whole life. In the last 10 years it has gone down the hole in quality. 2 hours in the waiting room just because I need a note for work because I have Crohns and it kept me up for 2 nights. The Dr wont even be able to do anything for me except say Ok, heres a note. I could be at home sleeping and resting to allow my flare up to heal, but instead Im stuck sitting in these uncomfortable chairs in a waiting room full of sick people. FOR 2 HOURS. Im sure I will end up catching a cold from one of the 4 people in here sniffling and sneezing. All because I just needed a note.

The doctor told me I would return to work Monday but wrote my note for Saturday. He didnt listen to anything I told him during my visit, I told him when I sleep it feels like Im breathing in water and he said yea sometimes I get that tickle in my throat and it makes me cough too.......Update:I called to have them correct the note and they said they would have to reevaluate me because he isnt working today. Its his fault for not putting what he said on the note it is unprofessional as a doctor. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. My wait time has always been on average 3 hours. I dont think Ill be coming here anymore.

I waited almost an hour to even see anyone, and when I did, they told me there is nothing wrong with me and sent me home with a copy of X-rays they took. Well, I tried to look at the X-rays at home because I was curious, and there was nothing on the disc! I do not recommend this place, and I will not be going back.

I went there for a drug screening test and waited almost 2 hours to get done on paper work. what a slow service. I hope the management will read this negative reviews and be considerate to patients who have been waiting there for long hours just to see a doctor or get done with a drug screening test.

Worst place ever. i was in shock and should have been directed to a hospital. Never seen such treat meant. No help!!! Still have a bill on my equinox credit report. Not to mention the place is a rat trip!!!!

My daughter and I waited three and a half hours in the waiting room for a school physical. They took us to a room and we waited another hour. Almost at hour five a nurse comes in and says a trauma just arrived so it will be a little while longer. I told them I wouldnt wait and I wanted my money back. The very polite nurse at the front desk went to talk to the doctor. Then the doctor came in the room in less than two minutes, completed my daughters physical in less than five minutes. They totally wasted my whole day for three minutes.

Worste experience ever. Was sent by my ortho for a pro op physical first she tells me they dont do those. After me explaining this is where my doctor sent me then all of a sudden they do. I have been giving the run around and have been told twice oh they can see me snd then oh they cant. Ive been waiting 2 hoyrs fot just a physical

Long waits. Staff seemed helpful, but Dr. Fee was dismissive of patient symptoms, inflexible in his treatment options, and called us liars when we told him how long it had been since we had made appointments with specialists and when we could get in to those clinics.Incredibly disappointed in the lack of caring and level of care provided.

They sent me home 3 times and i almost died when i went back again i told then what i thought waa wrong with me they checked me for it and thats what it was they are very unprofessional i would never go their again now i have a super high bill ams they almoat killed me thanks to me im alive today never go their ever.

It was horrible. Went there because my eye was swollen and hurting. Was informed I had a stye and prescribed eye drops. I advised PA that I had styes before and never had the type of reaction I was having and felt it was something more serious. He ensured me it was a stye. I took prescribed eye drops and overnight my condition got 10x worse. Was able to get an emergency appointment with eye doctor next day who said I had been misdiagnosed by the urgent care and the eye drops only made condition worse and couldve led to more serious issues. Luckily eye doctor intervened in time and I was able to make a full recovery, but it taught me that these urgent care locations are not concerned with your health only your money and time. Very upset I will be billed from a place who only made my condition worse.

Choose somewhere else. Spent over an hour there for a 5 minute drug screen. Its like they see one patient at a time and have a notice not to ask about check in times. They have no consideration for patients time and wait. The lobby was basically empty when I came and filled up and I still wasnt seen. Hoping other organizations take this location off of their list.

I see Dr. Fee. Not very friendly at all. Somehow my medicine that I told him about on my first visit (and put on the paperwork) never got put into their system. Have to pay for a visit just so I can prove to him Im on it.

Doctor Donna Lapeyrolerie has been my doctor since 1998 and she is great and i have never had any problems with her!!

I highly recommend avoidance at all costs. This place is ridiculous, over a 2 hour wait just to fill out paperwork. This is not a true Urgent care, it is run more like a clinic. You are not seen in order of signing in like normal Urgent cares. If you are sick, you will keel over before being seen.

Looonnng wait the first visit. Thought it was a fluke. This second visit, even longer, been 3 hours still waiting to be seen, but a guy that came in 2 hrs after me with scratches on his arm gets in quick and is moved to the front of the line! Could have been seen quicker at fricking ER.

Now, I saw all the negative reviews that were listed. However, I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. So, I wanted to experience it for myself and hoped to have better results. I went in signed the clipboard and had to use the restroom . It was locked. Inquired with the other receptionist if there was a key to restroom-she said yes. I used it came back out and sat down. I was sitting reading the reviews and ran across one that stated something in regards to the clipboard. I looked over at another patient comletting the clipboard and decided to go up to the counter. Asked the 1st receptionist was I supposed to be filling out paperwork she went inquiring who I was to the other receptionist...1st one located me...and informed me she called me at 1209...now, good sense would tell you to call the patients name again just in case they were in the restroom which I was in it. The issue I have is I asked the 2nd receptionist Didnt you inform her I went to the restroom? She looked up said No, I guess I either forgot or wasnt paying attention!-very nonchalantly like it didnt even concern her- So, 1st receptionist looked at me and then asked well, what do you want? REALLY!!! What do you think I wanted!!!??? Urgent Care...for my cold!!! Well, sometimes reviews dont lie and are speaking-nothing but the truth!!! Just Shaking my head!!! Well, now off to Sentara!!!

I went in because I had a UTI and I peed in a cup and left in on a counter like I was told. Yes, the cup was full because at other clinics that I went to in the past, they told me to fill the cup if it was possible. I went back to sit in the room and I over heard nurses talking about how nasty it was that the cup was full and making other unnecessary comments about it. As nurses, youre going to deal with nasty things like urine in a damn cup. If you cant handle it, choose a different profession. This place is unprofessional and I wont be coming back.

I walked up to the front desk to sign something or you know .. atleast let someone know I was there to be seen ; but was told to sit down in the waiting area and she’d “be with me shortly” . Okay... so I’m waiting ... and waiting .. an hour goes by and I know she sees me staring at her this whole freakin time . So I go back up there and she just hands me this clipboard to fill out .. (was that so hard to begin with?) so I filled it out and handed it back to her and without even LOOKING AT ME she puts it down next to her and doesn’t touch it for atleast (probably longer) 20 minutes and then I waited another 3 1/2 HOURS to be seen .. mind you, THERES ONLY LIKE 3 PEOPLE THERE . When I finally get seen I’m waiting another hour or so in the back room and I finally said F IT and left , will never go back here again .

The staff seems to mean well, however, I will not be back. I came with my feverish son who spiked at over 104 and we were forgotten in the back for more than 30 minutes. There was a miscommunication in the handing of care of my son. As for the doctor, I was constantly being talked over and/or belittled for having known better. If it was something I could have handled, I would not have called the doctor in the first place. I dont bring my son in for sniffles or small things like that. I get the premise of an urgent care facility is first come, first serve, but to be forgotten while your child who has a dangerously high fever, it is unacceptable. I regret going here. We were there for almost 4 hours.

I waited for like 3 hours to take a DRUG SCREENING . I didnt even have to see a doctor . it was the worst .

This is the second time that I have been to this office for a urinalysis. Both visits I have waited well over an hour. I am assuming they do not have enough staff to cover the amount of customers. If you have another choice pick another place.

I made a visit to NowCare Wednesday July 19th, 2017. Hoping to find an answer as to why I was coughing non stop, shortness of breath, and sore throat. I left that day with you have the flu. Mind you its the middle of summer... Three days pass and I continue to use the medication I was prescribed by the doctor. On which is not working. They called me the next day to see how I was doing (only reason I would even give them one star) and told them the medication isnt working at all and Im 10x worse. She proceeds to tell me that I need to let it take its course and continue to take the medication.... Also come back Monday if its still not working and we will see if you need a steroidAnyway... went to patient first because NowCare just doesnt seem to Care to begin with.Turns out I have bronchitis, asthma, and and ear infection.Thank you NowCare for not taking my health seriously. Will never go here again! And dont recommend anyone to go here either!

My mom goes to this Bayview Medical Center because they are affiliated with her primary care physician. My problem with this place is that the waiting room is extremely noisy. It is already a small waiting room and you have to keep hearing peoples cellphones going off and listening to people talking loudly on the phone. There use to be a No Cellphone sign on the door, but I heard it was taken down because one of the receptionist at the desk was too lazy to enforce it. Bring back the No Cellphone sign like most doctors offices. The wait is too long and the space is too tight to have to sit there and listen to peoples annoying cell phone conversations. Whats the use of having a TV in the waiting room if you cant hear it because people are talking so loud on their phones? I feel sorry for anyone who has to come here in sit in that waiting room that may suffer from migraines

Holy doctors that need to retire or join a Fight club where they can more openly be a**holes. The heavy set Caucasian woman comes in the room everytime with this *youre a liar about your symptoms* attitude. Not to mention her breath smells like feces. Shes either burned out or enjoys putting patients through agony. Its time to retire - youve abandoned your oath- Do No Harm. Stop yourself before someone too sick to care knocks you on your a** for being a rude, judgemental female dog.Oh, and if this place has ever been properly disinfected or cleaned- it was in the 70s. Ive seen cleaner port-a-potties. Im not exaggerating.

Went here last time ..jan 4th 2013,,and I almost waited to eternity!! must have been at least three hours and counting!! and I may go there again ...God help me cuz I know ill be in for another decade!!!

AVOID THIS PRACTICE! They do NOT care for their patients, only about lining their pockets! I was overcharged for a procedure (invoiced over $800.00 after insurance), then when payment was delayed due to dispute with insurance company over the amount to be covered by insurance, Bayview Physicians Group (aka: Bayview Medical Center & Bayview Physician Services PC) AFTER being notified of the reason for delay, and I was told my account was “annotated”, they went ahead and passed my account to a collections company, WITHOUT ANY WARNING, which then tacked on an additional $300 charge! WORSE YET, this matter happened SIX YEARS AGO, and I just now received a hit on my credit stating that another $267.82 is now due and I now have an “open collection account” on my credit report!!!! Called the collection company (Credit Control Corporation) to request this be corrected, as Bayview previously acknowledged my account was incorrectly sent to collections, and was told that all Bayview has to do, because they are their client, is call them & let them know to cancel the charge & it would then come off my credit & no payment would be required. So I called Bayview and made that request & was told that I should have made this request sooner and that because it was 6 years ago there is nothing they can do about it now!!! Unbelievably despicable!Take your healthcare needs anywhere else but here!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Seriously I have been waiting for 3 hours and Im still not done. This is the biggest joke of a medical facility I have ever seen. Dont ever come here.

Doctors are nice however the wait is ridiculous front desk staff is not very customer friendly.

Had to call 4 times just to get an answer because the lady kept pickup up the phone and hanging up. No answer until I called 4 times !

Nasty waiting area filthy dont get any urinalysis whatsoever here at this location me and the only other minority there were racially profiled and forced to take our drug screen twice for no legitamate reason and forced to sit there for 5 hours if you cant provide a sample.and actually threaten to call your current or upcoming job if if you cant and tell them you tested positive
